      @streeteleven I'm 42 and I need to try something. We can't believe it's too late. Even with health issues, we just have to find different ways to get there. Even if my business doesn't blow up into a huge business that lasts forever- if we can figure out how to do something that pays us to do something we actually care about, and gives us more than working 40+ hours a week and giving our entire paycheck to bills, with nothing left, forever... I understand it won't be simple, not all of it anyways, but my God, we have to try, right? I pray that we both have success and prosperity in many ways. 🙏 💜

    What is often not mentioned is that it took hundreds of hours of hard and consistent work to finally reach a point where one can only work 2-4 hours. There are no shortcuts. You have to go through the phase of grind and boredom to reach the state of freedom ❤

    • @KayleeGrace
      @KayleeGrace 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      This is so true. If you work 30 hrs a week in the beginning it is going to take less time to get to working 2-4 hrs a week than it will if you start at 2-4 hrs a week.
      Nothing happens over night and without grind and boredom.

      There's an old folklore about a student and an old Martial Arts teacher and it goes something like this:
      A student goes to a Martial arts guru and says " I want to learn martial arts, how long will it take?
      Guru: Two Years.
      Student: If I work hard?
      Guru: 3 years
      Student: If I work Extra hard?
      Guru: 5 Years
      Student: Confused, asks " Why is it that when I'm saying I will work harder you're saying it will take longer?
      Guru: Because, the more you focus on learning QUICKLY, you will lose focus on learning the actual skill, hence; it will take more time to learn.
      Moral of the story: Just start learning as best as you can and stop focusing on hurrying the process or finding a shortcut.
      We all have different learning abilities and strengths, and not everybody will be able to do it in the exact same amount of time. So, we just need to start and keep going, and who knows, we might surprise our selves too.

      @@tanmayjoshi1128Nah it's about online writing in general. There's two modules: 2 Hour Lifestyle and 2 Hour Content Ecosystem. The first is about the process of finding ideas in your daily life, consuming quality content, building a daily consumption and production routine (2 hours a day) and using his absolutely amazing Notion templates.
      The second one goes through the principles of persuasive writing, the different frameworks popularly used and structuring newsletters/long form content. He has a bonus module about growing and monetising on Twitter but to be honest I find it to be out-dated. Thankfully he has many recent free newsletters that have more updated tips on growth and catching attention on X.

    At one point I was told that the key takeaway for any pursuit realistically is to improve on a market. Perfecting an item. Creating a unit superior to that of one you'd ideally use. Progressive overload when working out is my thought process. Everyone understands a bicep curl, basic contraction, simple move. But if I want to build onto that I need to one up it. Either through heavier weights or by increasing the sets in my circumstance. I'm sure that anything out there can be improved upon, we just have to break it down! I've thought about this a lot lately. Been miserable a while and I was the victim. Little by little I've been making moves in 2024, and I literally come from nothing. Remember legends, nothing changes if nothing changes, so let's hit it full force with the 1 life we got💪🔥🔥🔥🔥💯

      I agree, based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $650k in a well diversified portfolio, that has experienced exponential growth. It is not about having money to invest in stocks,but also you need to be knowledgeable, persistent,and have strong hands to back it up.

    Hey Dan. Really appreciate your content. I'm in the process of rebuilding my life after being cut off from society for 5 years due a brain injury caused by a medication. I was a teacher before, but quickly realised the false sense of security I had with that when the injury hit. The decentralised economy is absolutely the way forward, it was a scary realisation at first, but once you get it, you get it, and you're thankful you get it now, rather than years further down the line. As an ex-teacher I can safely say that the education system is absolutely broken, and somewhat of a scam. There are plus points, obviously - fundemental skills, socialisation (and some teachers can be life-changing, positive-influencers on a person's life), but we are not taught true independence and the critical thinking tools needed to navigate the wild-west of real life. Your content gives me a lot of hope, and pragmatic advice for this rebuilding season. Thankyou.

    "The School system is failing. Education is the foundation of humanity. Creators are the de-centralized school system."
    Dan, your videos make me pause. And reflect. And in some cases write down your quotes, such as above. This articulates something I have felt, for a long time, way before it formed any coherent thoughts in my head. Since I was in school, and especially when putting my children into school and being disappointed with the results.
    Here I go again articulating my thoughts into a comment section instead of a script for my own stuff, so I am going to copy this quote to reflect on.
    Thanks, man!

    7:37 We’re going to see 10-person companies with billion-dollar valuations pretty soon…in my little group chat with my tech CEO friends there’s this betting pool for the first year there is a one-person billion-dollar company, which would’ve been unimaginable without AI. And now [it] will happen.” - Sam Altman
    Couldn't hear the audio. So I had GPT dig up a quote where Sam talks about the one-person business. I hope it matches Dan's intended insight.

    There is one very important point : it's not because you solved a problem in your life that you're able to help others with the, it same problem. First, we are all different, second, to be able to teach, to transmit, in order than people get REAL RESULTS !! Furthermore, to structure a business, to be able to speak about our program, to sell, to have a good "after sale service"... it's not that easy. I mean it's a wonderful business, but not everybody can do it.

    Okay so for one, did you insinuate that robots could replace construction workers,plumber, etc. 2 robots will never be able to do things the way we want. 3 I’ve worked in production for a long time and I’ve seen many places attempt to cut cost on employees through automations, and guess what it didn’t replace anybody it created a job opportunity for someone else that cost a lot more than the person it replaced. 4 I’ve seen robotics completely fail at the task and prove to much less productive than a living person, guess what they scrapped the robots in favor of the employee. Robots won’t replace jobs they will just change them

    I think folks need to practice discernment between the creator sharing his successful experience and the one sharing a story/idea without the successful experience to back it up. Both will attempt to sell you their product but only (1) will provide knowledge. Do your research.

    12:13 Since we are talking Sci-Fi, I'd love to see a future where, yes almost all manual labor jobs are handled by embodied AI but also there's space for people who'd like to do some of them for a period of time, to do them. Japanese schools do not have janitorials, says the rumor, the kids learn to clean after themselves. Think about it.
    I think a repetitive activity, for some brains is beneficial as it is a pathway to flow. Some things we regard as jobs might be seen as self-care activities or contributing to wellness, once we remove the compulsory part.

    • @theresaphillips8932
      @theresaphillips8932 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree. I know a plumber and He loves it. Skills like this and construction jobs do satisfy a need for building and creation and does require a certain level of intelligence to do well. And we will always need these things. Why would we want robots to do it? Why remove human value?

    • @paulaCvenecia
      @paulaCvenecia 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theresaphillips8932 Yes! I can see why the compulsory part, being a problem ... As you see it with exercise, supposedly it is not as beneficial if you do not like it and on top are required to do it but don't quote on that... Do quote Jordan B Peterson on exposure rat studies and obligating them ... But I remember I volunteered at a men's tailor shop and it was one the happiest times I've had over here. I remember hearing the rumor there were studies on this gist was: people who complete a physical task from beginning to end get more fulfilment out of it, than people like in a sweat shop that specialize in one thing, say sleeves and do that for 8 hours. So, there is nuance but I wholeheartedly believe, AI if left on its own will resolve for life. Meaning, given all the data points it can process at the same time, it will create solutions that take into account second order implications and insert them. Not like us, because as we do not have the brain power, we end up messing things up when solving for only one variable.
