as a disabled yng man school in 1980's uk was awful they instead thinking i was bright but disabled classed me as a dumby and put me in lowest class it got slightly better at college , but taught myself lots stuff then in 2006 when they realised i was bright but need qualifications sent to a disabled college ,
This "creator" society should not just be limited to a virtual realm. If you look around, no one builds or creates anything physical anymore, and I am talking about actually knowing how to build something with your own hands. We have devolved, not evolved. Centuries ago people used to build large galleons without modern tools and materials, or lay bricks the right way, and look at where we are now? Welcome to the global society where most don't know how to put two pieces of something together, but everyone is trying to be a "creator" online.
In older cultures a person could build a shelter, hunt, preserve food , make clothing. And there was time for music and art and storytelling. Everyone was able to sing and dance.
actually is very simple. I mastered my craft in 2 years. sushi chef. Most people just say they "build stuff" but are actually just following directions and not creating anything. They manifest it through material objects but they haven't actually contributed to the advancement of society

You can compare it with all the tiny details in a painting (us) that create the masterpiece or.. disaster, depending on how each detail is, depends on what the painting will look like.

I can't get my head around how to put this into words (I'm solo and a creator myself for context), but you could call many business and politicians part of the Creator Economy too. People buy a Tesla because they're following the creator Elon Musk. People bought into the iPod because of the creator Steve Jobs. People voted for a wall towards Mexico because of the creator Trump, etc. Many brands, businesses, political systems etc., start out from a Creator Economy perspective. Even in the "old" times. A politician would then use papers, radio, etc., to get their message out. Now it's just faster and more global with social media. But in essence, isn't it the same? What we're trying to do as creators, is the same that have always been done. We can just do it as a scale and a speed that have not been seen before. Make sense? xD
After 2 decades working overseas, while im employed slowly, I use little of my time to practice trading/side job by doing "buy and sell", started in leveraging, using the OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY AND TIME, learning basic knowledge in business planning, taxes payment, learning basic financial statement, and i know i still have a lot of things to learn, but i want to do it in the field. So, July 20, 2023, would be my last day as an employee. 😢, i am really scared, but because of those motivator/lecturer like you, i am now willing on working hard to achieve my goals, and i know it is a difficult road ahead, but hopefully i could be the person i wanna be.
