That's just like having Tim (Cotontop3) working across the site from you - Tigercat, skidder and loader. I guessed there was a feller involved when we saw how low the stumps had been cut. In fact, when saw the Tigercat at the end there, I loved how it marched right on through the smaller trees like they were not even there. It's not until we see a Tigercat feller up close (usually when Tim and family are fixing theirs) that we realise just how big they are. That house is going to be well situated right in front of the lake/pond. Looking forward to seeing you get back to that gloopy dredge job that was too wet to proceed with. That was some scary shit!

I worked for a outfit that when it was quitting time, that meant pull over and be standing by your rig to get on that old greyhound bus they used for a crew bus and when you got in the bus driver took your timecard and punched it and that was the time that you got paid for. Don't dump your truck or grease it or anything. You got there and it was greased and full of fuel and oil was topped off. They would look at your bitch slip and replace a brake or fix the drivers wiper but that was about it so when I was in town to purchase some goods I bought a tiny tool kit and some short pinch bars so I could adjust the clutch and the brakes and made my seat so it didn't rock back and forth and that was it except I got me a radio that would run on batteries or twelve volt so I opened the dash and got the hot wire of the fuel gauge and come twelve o'clock listened to paul harvey while I ate my brunch. One day my boss of trucks rolls up on me and is talking to me and sees the radio in the seat and so went from I was a damn good driver to your fired and so walk to camp. So I grabbed my nose bag and rain gear and down the road I went and I wasn't supposed to hitchhike so when it pulled up behind me and said get in I was leary and we continued to camp. Some small talk and he could see I wasn't having a good day. Next thing I know he's on the radio and talking to the guy who fired me and said I will meet you there just hold your spot. I ask if I could get out cause it was close to camp and he said just hang on cause the mail plane is gone and the delivery plane do come in for a few so just hold still. so I ride on out there and set in the seat waiting for "Jim" to come back. Next thing I know is my door is open and the guy who fired me was handing me his keys to his pick up. "Jim" was the big boss and he gave me the job that the guy who fired me his job and he was pissed. He screams at me, what did you tell Jim and all that and then swung at me. I ducked it and nocked him on his tail. Jim told him, "Morgan" (me) never said anything as he was walking to camp and I wanted to know why but he never said a word so I ask you and you told me all I wanted to hear. Then Jim said you handled that good so your getting a raise in pay and a new job! That last part was to me/LOL.. Anyway I put radios in every rig on the job site and that was a bunch but I had went to the local dump/ bone yard for cars/trucks and took the radio's out of every rig I could find and only had to buy a few and Jim gave me another raise. Come that winter when shut down came he ask me if I wanted a trailer there in camp and just hang till start up but I told him no that there was another cmp that serves rounder pancakes come spring and he said I match their pay and he near hit the floor when I told him it was a lot less than what you pay now. I just ain't cut out to be a ramrod and now I wish I would of kept that job as my life would of been a lot different..... there is more but I already got you wondering am I a story teller or am I the real deal
