Here's one for you. Around here if you clean a ditch or creek you can do anything you want with the dirt ,but if you clean a pond they consider it hazardous, got go to the dump.
We know what you mean about the weather change. Im in southeast texas and it was in the low 30's for two days and now its in the mid 50's today already. Happy new year chris and god bless
Happy New Year Chris,Tim,John !! Enjoyed watching all the work you guys have done this past year, Thank you Chris !! For sharing with us , and taking us along with you as you do your daily job. Have a Happy New Year in 2020 !! And can't wait to see what's to come ......Have a Great Evening !! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!
Your pond jobs are not only entertaining but informative. Esp since i'm having a pons started within the next week or so. My questions...and advice on the water drain structure? And who makes your debris guards? Are they commercial made? thanks
That looks like it might be the best way to keep up with all that sediment flow, just clean out the stream bed right before it enters the pond ? Happy New Years Chris, family and everyone else !
Hey Chris, if you ever get a chance I'm interested in how you make your mud mats. Pretty sure I know, but I've gotta make some for my mini soon. Thinking red or white oak and 3/4 all thread. Have my own mill and tree's so all thread would be only expense. It would make an interesting video!
Notification at 12:01 New Years morning 2020, party temporarily suspended, let’s see what let’s dig 18 has uploaded Happy New Year from Bonnie Scotland 🏴🇬🇧
January of 2019, It popped up on a recommended video for me after the last dredge job with the steep bank and bicycles, skateboard and bat was pulled out
I was just thinking Chris, that's some black sand there. Wonder if one were to pan some of that, if you might find some placer gold? I see NC has a lot of gold history! Happy New Year!
Don Burg , nope. It’s a natural process. The sand is washed down the creek whenever there is fast moving water. When the water slows down or stops in the pond the sand settles out. At best you can fight it to a stalemate by digging out the sediment every once in a while. You can do like they did and make a small pond are where the water slows down at all but the biggest floods. That catches the sand in that small pond so you don’t have to clean out the whole pond. This same thing happens even on the biggest lakes. It gets to the point that you might as well take out the dam since the silt has filled in the pond.
So I just had a pond dug and it's a disaster. I'm looking for something like the drainage system you fixed at the beginning. Is that something you would recommend or what would your thoughts be?
Man that is a LOT of sand. Must be a lot of watershed going into that pond. Holy cow is that someones house on top of the hill or a country club...........
Don't you think the community later will dump the sand back higher up in the creek to minimize erosion losses, Chris? :D Best to you all on a brand new 2020!
Hey I saw you in Greensboro yesterday with your truck and trailer right by my house. ! How long are you working in the area? Maybe I can meet up with you.
This is how much sand has washed in since January!

Thank you for leaving the link other wise we wouldn't remember lol
Did we see you drive a dump truck???... Dam! Never a dull moment Chriss👍👍😀😀😀 like tgat one by the way!
When Chris was younger, his folks said go out and play in the sandbox. And now he's a You tube sand box king. 🤴🤴🤴🤴
I really love the videos from this dredge job site. Perfect sand and perfect conditions for scooping it out. Have a happy new year Chris.
Any update on the old irrigation pond you are using for clearing rubble & dross?
Here's one for you. Around here if you clean a ditch or creek you can do anything you want with the dirt ,but if you clean a pond they consider it hazardous, got go to the dump.
Think I've seen u do this one a few times and into the pond. Fore bay always looks so good once it's cleaned out !!
We used to use bentonite for drilling Lube with horizontal directional drilling it's awesome stuff
We know what you mean about the weather change. Im in southeast texas and it was in the low 30's for two days and now its in the mid 50's today already. Happy new year chris and god bless

That dang "Wind"!! LOL
Bummer...no bicycles or scooters today... Happy New year 🎉
What Chris isn’t telling us or the pond owners is that the sand he removes gets dumped a few miles upstream😉😁
Happy New Year!
Job security.
Said this in an earlier video. He didn't deny it...
Your pond jobs are not only entertaining but informative. Esp since i'm having a pons started within the next week or so. My questions...and advice on the water drain structure? And who makes your debris guards? Are they commercial made? thanks
Next time you clear some trees just remember your handy mud pads, they're getting old so you need to mill new ones.
Keep them coming
Love the site with the creek and sand!
Just watched the original videos a couple of days ago. Awesome work. Thank you Chris for the great content. Happy New Year 2020
Equipment for the new year...concrete pump for all the dredging jobs...lol. happy new year
Chris, you make some darn good videos! I’ve been hooked sense back in the Daewoo days.
Just wondering , do you have to get permits to work in the creeks . Around here it takes a act of Congress to get even close to a waterway
not one this because im pretty much doing maintenance on a stormwater pond
I actually remember this place from earlier. That's a real achievement for me!
Happy New Year to you!
And thanks!
Have a Happy and prosperous New Year !!!
Loved your videos in 2019 can't wait to see your videos in 2020
LOLZ.... The wind did that!!!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Thanx for us pond poachers lol the fishies love yo too
Just to let you know that if you do a lot of pond job you can put a hole on the bottom of the bucket and it will drain the water
yeah but I move enough wet concrete where it would pour out and make a mess
letsdig18 Flex seal!
I hope you ordered new matts. It can take a while to get them. God bless
Awesome little video for the end of 2019 bro. At least in this case the sands of time keep your bank cash flow healthy.
Happy New Year Chriss and crew. Happy New Year to all the followers here too!
That looks like it might be the best way to keep up with all that sediment flow, just clean out the stream bed right before it enters the pond ? Happy New Years Chris, family and everyone else !
Happy new year everyone, well at least from Germany at the moment!!!!🎆🎇🎉

Happy New Year from Bonnie Scotland 🏴🇬🇧
That darn wind! LOL
You should name this sediment trap “Job Security Cove”
it really is
@@letsdig18 like in towing industry, there are "money pits". This could fit in that description.
I think it would be interesting to see the mats being built.
Wonder if you open that up would it help more
A guid New Year to you and yours. From Scotland.
Man you do a lot of ponds but you sure good at it enjoyed watching have a great new year Chris
Have you considered a trash pump to vacuum the channel and sluice the sediment on the ground like you're doing with the excavator?
January of 2019, It popped up on a recommended video for me after the last dredge job with the steep bank and bicycles, skateboard and bat was pulled out
RK Harm24 we should refer to the bike/skateboard job as the “mud pump dredge” job
You may be able to make a video about acquiring new mats.
It is interesting construction technology, when they are put together
Everyone have a safe and happy new year. God bless
What is the most most interesting critter you've dredged up with all your pond deepening?
Concrete pump truck on order!
Remember this job well you had one hell of a sand mountain 😂 happy new year to you and the crew 😎👍👍
Happy new year of France Chris !!
I was just thinking Chris, that's some black sand there. Wonder if one were to pan some of that, if you might find some placer gold? I see NC has a lot of gold history! Happy New Year!
Chris, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years. Please keep the videos coming. I’m always looking forward to them!
Good job !!!
Happy New Year. Where do you dump all of the dirt you dig out of these ponds?
Great video Chris!
Happiest New year wishes to you. Love the videos.
Is there anything you can put in there to keep all the silt from coming down?
Don Burg , nope. It’s a natural process. The sand is washed down the creek whenever there is fast moving water. When the water slows down or stops in the pond the sand settles out. At best you can fight it to a stalemate by digging out the sediment every once in a while. You can do like they did and make a small pond are where the water slows down at all but the biggest floods. This same thing happens even on the biggest lakes. It gets to the point that you might as well take out the dam since the silt has filled in the pond.
Nice job👍 see ya in 20💪20
You keep making it look easy. Happy New Year
Happy New Year Chris!!! I'd love to have some of your chilly mornings. It was 3°F this morning with a high of 20°F today here in Jpaydirt country.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 💗
Mrs. Elite Earthworks Hi! 😁
D C Hi! 😁
“The wind did that”
Do you have to replace pins and bushings a lot because of sand and water?
You fixed the leak, and a new dredging job , 2020 must be a good year Chris and all subs 👍👌⚠️
So I just had a pond dug and it's a disaster. I'm looking for something like the drainage system you fixed at the beginning. Is that something you would recommend or what would your thoughts be?
Jeez! The pond looks like the meteor from "Creep Show" hit it! "Meteor shit!"
Happy New Year to Chris, Tim, and John! Cant wait for 2020!
Loves the videos Happy New Year.
Top quality for top people HAPPY NEW YEAR CHRIS!!
Happy New Year Chris.
Happy new year!!! CHRIS!,,, LOVE THE VIDEOS.
On top of great videos, I think the troll comments of you need a dragline will be relaced with you need a mud pump in 2020.

So... Chris... Are you up a creek without a paddle ??😂😂
The Kenworth does it automatically
You should do a video on how to make mud mats, Great video and Happy New Year!!!
He buys them instead of making them. I think he said they are mats for cranes.
Happy new year another amazing job done by you I’m surprised you don’t have a long reach when you do the Dragging
He haved on past.. You can see on older videos but I don't know if they haven't now
Yeah, a nice EC 290 LR 😂
@Letsdig18 - What size mats do you use for the 160??
