@@Rip1Outdoors ....Welcome! I have been making a lot of videos....not any good....but I like doing it and when I edit them...I "relive" the ride which I love. I appreciate your support. I can't wait to see you make a chicken sandwich run.... :)
Thank God you have been in my prayers. It's so good to hear from you I'm looking forward to see you ride again and hear some more stories take care Richard
Richard thanks for the update so nice to se you in good spirits hang in there do your very best to get through this difficult journey it won’t be long and you will be back in the saddle.😊
Aye Rio so glad to hear from you!!! Glad your therapy is working well for you. you will get back on your bike soon! I remember Doug’s first knee replacement surgery.. it was hard but he made it through! Take care and s as always love your videos.
Overall, it seems you are doing well with your knee replacement! Took me nearly 2 years before I could do 120 degrees of flexion with 0 degrees of extension. Keep up the physical therapy and you'll be back on the ebike in no time! Good to see you back up on TH-cam!
Russ the biggest problem I have is with swelling and when it’s swelled it makes it hard to stretch. Dr said swelling could last 6 months or so. I hate the extension stretch. It hurts the most. Just got to bite the bullet and get it done. lol
@@Rip1Outdoors By the way, the extension is very important. You can't stand for a long time if you aren't at 0 degrees of extension. Walking properly is hard too. Many people forget to work on this, concentrating solely on their flexion. Glad to see you are working on the extension!
Can hardly wait for your rides and stories. Remember Russ Is Right got his first ebike to help with his knee replacement. Talk to 20-30 year olds on my trail who got ebikes to help their recovery from knee surgery. All were successful. Since you’ve been riding , you will recover much sooner. Plus you are missing the fun of riding. 🚴🏻
Your doing great, I did both my knees at the same time. After 3 years I decided to buy a bike and I didn't have the right bend in my knees. So I was,so mad, I told myself I'm going to ride if s kills me It took e 3 months of my own training and I did it,even after 3 years. Hope that gives you some incentive. So this next week I'm having a total shoulder . Here we go again.
Good to see you back, yep it can be a long hard road allright. But I'm betting all that biking and activity you did leading up to this will contribute to you making a very speedy recovery. Just staying active in some way is so important to one's health.. Looking forward to seeing some more epic rides in the near future.....Take care Richard from your friend up north...👍
Glad to hear you’re recovering ❤ I’m having hernia surgery on the 27 but just 2 weeks of recovery for me but I haven’t been pedaling much it hurts. Getting old sucks. I’m going to Lectrics new bike unveiled in October all expenses paid by them 😊
Good to see you and hope you get out riding fairly soon. Good luck with all your rehab. I will continue praying for all your needs and concerns.
