Nice, been waiting for this review and comparison to the previous model! :D Really happy to hear about these small changes and just how notable they really are, definitely enough to make me really interested in getting a pair of RayNeo Air now!
Thanks for the video. Really useful objective information but also adding your opinions adds a great deal more. You mentioned how comfortable they are and it's a bit sharper. Is there any eye strain or fatigue?
First of all , thank you for your informative video ! Yes, a comparison video next time would be great ! TCL, Rokid, Viture, Xreal which one of their flagships will make the race ? Price, sharpness, colors, deep blacks, brightness, comfort, Navigation compatibility ( GPS ) , app compatibility ( Netflix, Prime Video, Rakuten, etc ), smartphone compatibility ( Android, Apple ), the quality and features of additional hardware device like the Pocket PC ( Beam Pro, Google Pocket TV , Rokid Pocket PC .. whatever you call it )
It’s hard to see how this product space is not going to get blown apart by either Meta or Apple in the near future. All of these seem like compromise products right now.
Do the screens feel like a virtual screen that is actually floating in your room and has depth like the apple vision pro provides? I have tried the Nreal glasses before I bought my AVP and it was not a great experience. Looking for something compact that provides a similar experience when I travel for work as I don't want to risk traveling with my AVP or should I just wait for TCL's actual AR glasses? Thanks!
Do these glasses do 3DOF head tracking without the Chromecast widget? I always found the older generation models like the Xreal devices appealing but wasn’t willing to drag around a satellite device just to avoid motion sickness
I like the idea of these sorts of glasses, but they're still years away from the point I'll bite. 4K, HDR, and 90hz (for 3D gaming support, just in case). I'm not in any rush, I'm just looking forward to a future when you can get high resolution 3D capable goggles and glasses that aren't bulky.
Ss someone who owns an actual 150 inch 4k HDR projector and screen and Viture pro glasses I can assure it's not years away They are 120hz. 4k and 1080 is indistinguishable from 15ft away on a 120in screen which is what it replicates) the content you are watching affects the quality more. HDR is kept off on my projector as it looks flat. The Viture has way deeper blacks with OLED. I can tell you never tried any on.
@@laartwork No, I haven't. Just the Quest 3 so far (and the first gen Vive). If your HDR looks bad, doesn't that mean it's just...not very good HDR replication?
its funny when profesional reviewers always point the bad things when its to make the new model look better than the old one, but when they were doing the actual review of the old one, those same problems are not there, or are just a tiny thing that dosent bother that much
The number one thing it seems this has over the rokid and xreal is the noise cancellation. Its annoying to have ear buds plus glasses (techno file problems) .
Dang - I was browsing for 2 models to buy last night (Viture and those in this video) and ended up with the Viture One Lite bc they are cheaper in price and almost identical but 60hz refresh rate (btwn the steam deck only output 60hz so having 120hz serves no purpose). Was a hard choice but on amazon canada those 2 were only 150$ apart but.. yah. thanks for the video tho - if I end up returning the viture for some reason ill look those up
Don't you think the display is too close to the eyes where you can't see all corners without moving the glasses on your face? I can't get them adjusted enough to see all corners clearly due to display being too large or close to my eyes. It seems Rokid displays are just the right size to avoid this issue.
When the price drops on these things then I'll be interested but I can't see myself spending the money on these when I can buy a 65 inch 4K Smart TV for that price
@Johanneslol11 if you think in terms of VR but fov isn't the same thing. If you are watching a movie in Bigv screen and you sit in a in the home theater that screen is about 45 fov. The rest is taken by the room.

NICE TO SEE AN CHANNEL FOCUSED ON VR!!
I'm waiting for the meta AR glasses announcement at meta connect. It's suppose to be game changing but still in R&R phase.

It makes me so happy knowing that some day, hopefully soon, all vr glasses will have this kind of form factor

Hmm not for like one movie 2-3 hrs. But if you do longer, it might but I think this is subjective. The sharpness on this version does help a ton

im curious what the image resolution looks like. do they look like a 1080 or 4k?
If you have Xreal Air 2 Pro is the quality better with Rayneo?

What about prescription glass? Thx
Thanks for your great videos!
Ty for watching!
Can’t wait for a non sponsored objective comparison with xreal pro 2 with beam pro. Rokid ar lite. And Viture Pro with Pro Station.
It's cool coming once I can find all of them :)
@@CasandChary can’t wait. Thx CAs
I hope in the next couple of years the tech is good enough to replace a high quality 4k monitor
Would you know if it's possible to see 3d sbs videos in it?
you can

@@tranger79 well, it would be a very ordinary TV and nowhere near as portable 😆
46 field of view is very little. Does it not cut off half the video if you move your head?
Are these 3dof ? or just stuck to your face?
Same question I have. If it's 3dof then it could work as a laptop monitor for working while traveling.
@@FreddyEsquivelV yup, don't think I want a fixed screen 😅
No 3dof, stuck to the face.

Gotta get that FOV up
why? doesnt matter
you need a De-Esser
Why not 1km displays?`If you dont mention the distance what does it actually say? This 201 inch is just absolute marketing nonsese.
It says in the video it is from 6 meters aways. Also the field of view is only 46 degree so the video is just going to be very small.

FOV needs to expand a little more, hopefully the next version will improve this
Why? It looks fine when you actually put them on.
People mix fov with vr and xr. I don't want to pan my head left to right to watch a movie. It's just about where I sit in a theater
