Russian forces continued their advance towards Kharkiv as both sides consider where to pull troops from to focus on this new northern axis of advance. Russia strikes a key bridge east of Kharkiv that risks isolating Ukrainian forces.

Now, as the information is coming out in the last 3 or so hours we are beginning to see the picture and it looks bleak for the Ukrainians.
lol your delusion is THICK
There is a very big difference in commiting forces to new front between Ukraine and Russia.
Yes, Ukraine need to pul off some forces from already establish front( Lughansk-Donetck- Zaporozye-Kherson) to north. Heavy task because ukrainiens are in dire staraits with manpower, their biggest problem they face off.
Meanwhile , Russia have enough fresh forces in their rear , not commited before to fight. So russians do not have need to pul off a single soldier from front. All of those 30 000- 50 000 troops ( we have to wait to see real number), are newly troops just for this push at north.
Very, very big difference , there is no bothsidesism here.
Yes only Ukraine has to decide to pull forces from other areas while the Russians has ample forces in the rear.
Look at the recent Victory day parade in Moscow...that is only the Moscow City garrison alone..
Nearly all the soldiers in that parade are young.
@@ratumelimatanatoto2488 And? I hope you know that they said that itll be scaled back in Moscow, but other cities had bigger parades. This argument is so poor, yet the pro-ukrianians keep repeating it. Parroting things the clickbait youtubers said doesnt make you smart.

It must be shocking and alarming watching what has been playing out recently in this war for people who have believed the western corporate media narrative. Ukraine has never held the initiative at any point in this war and Russia has gradually and systematically ground them down. They are now steadily moving the front westward towards the Dnieper.
Nobody believed me when I commented back in 2022 that most people do not understand Russian mentality and that Russia will adapt and come back with more experience because this is the first peer-peer conflict we've seen since the Iran-Iraq war and that mistakes are to be expected.

Somewhere I hear the Maxim guns, soooo many bullets, lets try somewhere else...
Just a tiny observation from a Marine here. Russia doesn't have to pull forces from the existing line in order to open a new front or to probe, they have significantly more troops and equipment than Ukraine. All they need to do is poke holes in various places at once and the Ukrainians will not be able to respond. Once a breakthrough is achieved, it is then possible to Blitzkrieg and encircle whatever Russia chooses to. This is not a fight that Ukraine can or will win.

Combat engineers can set up mobile bridges, but I'm sure there's myriad factors to consider when employing this method. I was curious about this, too. Wondering if there's some selective/tactical loss built into the equation or if it's a lack of resources and manpower or what. They were "beating" Russia for the first year or so. However, after that, Russia realized it needed to make major changes if it wanted to "win". So, about a year ago Russia began implementing changes to their military/flot... and about half a year ago, their changes began to get implemented widespread through its army and across the battlefield... which has began to result it dividends across the battlefield as they began to find vulnerabilities and exploit more and more defenses across Ukraine, thus resulting in real Russian wins.

A saw a video reporting that some Ukranian soldiers were angry that Russian soldiers were seen calmly walking across the border into these smaller villages north east of Kharkiv with no resistance. These Ukranian soldiers were angry and confused as to why this was allowed if Ukranian and American intelligence services both knew for weeks that Russian forces were building up their forces right across the border there. Also these Ukranian soldiers stated that their must have been mistakes made by the Ukranian government and defense forces not fully building solid lines of defense in areas along the border or it looked like to them this could possibly be an act of sabatoge or betrayel by some Ukranians allowing the Russian forces to waltz right into Ukraine with ease. Now i know there is alot of disinformation and propoganda that goes around during war-time but to me this...if true.... is not good and very worrisome. Has anyone heard anything like this?
The fact that they came in calmly, however, there is a lot of video in the telegram. Last Friday the South African army what hit in an IS ambush while operating in Mozambique. This was the largest attack in a while so i thought it might be on your radar. 1st no service members where harmed the bilateral agreement that brought in SA support is ending in July after initially deploying in December 2021 and SA has likely already started withdrawing some equipment so the timing of this attack was awkward as most equipment was likely already withdrawn to Pemba on the way out.
At 1 point the troops was down to 5 magazine between 17 troops caught in the ambush
A chopper 'Jolly Green Giant' was able to land to resupply ammo and delivered a 4 special forces operator QRF. I can only assume that the operators took this attack personaly because a few years ago these IS hooligans claimed SA 1st special forces casualty in roughly 40 years
It is believed an IS leader was injured in the attack and at least 1 wounded IS member was captured an later died from his injuries sustained during the waves of clashes.
Piers Pigou, head of Southern Africa Programme at the Institute for Security Studies, said the attack in Macomia “is no surprise, with levels of instability that does not warrant SAMIM’s withdrawal, which most analysts agree is highly premature. This is a huge propaganda victory for Islamic State- Mozambique fighters amd a major embarrassment for Maputo and the SADC.”
SA troops with the peacekeeping mission in the Congo has suffered casualties in a separate engagement with M23 rebels that mission has been reinforced with 155mm guns
From what I have seen so far Mozambican army has remained tight lipped about its own involvement and casualties
