    Very useful. Only critism is probably better to use a 1+1 Gang backbox. How do you find functionality with HA? Could you set it up to strobe if for instance an alarm sensor is trigger? Or Light up if you have an outdoor PIR? Many Thanks

      Thank you. I did look for a deep (47mm) 1+1 socket but couldn't get my hands on one at the time. I agree, it would have been better to use one of those..... With regard to the PIR, I m using a Hue Outdoor Motion detector which controls turning the lights on when motion is detected when it gets dark.

    I take it that you also filled that hole with mastic ? Those vertical cable runs with no drip loop always make me nervous 😅

      Yes, good spot. Mastic in the hole and around the light on the wall. Don't want water getting in.

    I use a lot of Hue lights around my house. They are good quality and some of the bulbs have lasted many years. But they are on the expensive side. What lights do you use?
