When I was 8 months pregnant - my nurse told me I would die if I didn’t get the COVID vaccine and that I’d deliver my baby on a ventilator. Told me I’d never meet my baby. I was bullied. I was told I was selfish and already a bad mom - by everyone but you. He’s two year old now and the most joyous little boy because you were the only person speaking up for us and you inspired me. My son won’t remember who sits in the chair of Peter now - but he will know who you are as an example of the kind of bravery and commitment to truth I expect from him. God Bless and protect you ❤️

Bishop Strickland your message here just breaks my heart ❤️.. let me explain.. its Beautiful but it's painful to hear.. I am the last Catholic in my immediate Family of 7 brothers and sisters..and it includes my mother. My siblings left tjw church one by one almost 10 to 15 yrs ago and my sister took my mother along with her and they all eventually left the faith.. and the Catholic bashing was horrific.. it divided us it . Many years passed where they wouldn't talk to me.. Judge me . I went through a divorce 20 yrs ago and had a great confessor and had my marriage annulled.. my kids unfortunately suffered they were 7, 12 and 14.. they are now 29, 35, and 37 .. they are all marriage and raising their families.. I have 6 grandchildren and only one of them is Baptised.. and Only the youngest was married through the church.. we all live in different states.. due to career moves military, life .. however they grew up Catholic..they have all their Sacraments, I struggled as a single mom to raise them Catholic and had them in Catholic School.. they all are confirmed and when they started leaving the nest about 10 yrs ago .. they were making their own choices.. they would a still go with me to Mass when we would get together.. but it has been just in the last couple years.. I'd say about 6 or less that each of them have stopped going to Mass and really have stopped practicing their faith.. they never really told me or said anything.. I'd always send the. Info on Holy day of Obligation, Mass or informative videos about the faith... and it was not until today that the subject came about " mom please stop sending us this stuff " my oldest replied.. broke my heart ❤️. He said.. you're tje only Catholic and we are just tired of you sending us this .... and on a side not my middle child said... why should I follow a church full of pedophiles and other worshiping man made rules... and my youngest he didn't reply... but did say just a week ago.. I just don't believe any more 😢.. why does God allow suffering? Look at this world he said.... and I shared with him some info and told him not to give in to those thoughts... I told all of them in many occasions. The Church is Human and Devine. Sinful and it's being purified.. I was devistated...as I was heading Mass today for HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION OF OUR LADY ASCENSION .. I was stopped by an officer for speeding... I tell you what a day!!.. I need a confessor like you Bishop... we need more priest like you!.. I am a member of the Immaculate Heart of Marian Helpers.. I love to Listen to Fr. Alar. Been educated my faith for the past 30 yrs and I carry the name of Our Lady of Guadalupe!.. I truly feel it's a blessing.. I. Have a lot of pain in my heart.. I feel like I lost my entire family now.. like a death in my family..pain in my chest like our Mother in heaven.. a heavy heart!!. If you ever get this message.. I'd love to hear from you... and your advice... I'm trying to hard and how I've lost my own children..😢
