WOW. I don't think anyone could have done better. I'm a Flower Mound alum, and former band member. I see why Marcus always dominates! I'm proud of my old band, but we just could not perform this well in marching. And now they use metronomes during performances!!!! >:( Out of curiosity, do freshman march during competition?
Exactly.....Nothing better to do but march. I can bet that they can afford anything they'd like. Including brand new intruments every year. Come take a look at El Paso Texas. We survive on 10-15 year old instruments and can't afford to even go to BOA. Choose your choice of words carefully. Appreciate what you have where ever you are because you don't know what I would give to march for a band like this...
@Jcor7212 You realize Flower Mound itself has two 5A high schools with almost 4000 kids in each...and a town population of about 70,000 people.....you do realize that right...?
This band does so well just because of the fact that they have nothing better to do but march. Flower Mound Texas is a dinky little town. I wouldn't be surprised if more than half of the towns high school students where in the band.
@AexP1 I'm not from this school, but I'm pretty sure I heard Mozart's Queen of the Midnight Aria as well as some Franz Liszt...spectacular! So sad I missed it :(
actually no, their bass trombones are in the worst condition possible the students could be given super crap instruments, which sometimes they do, they would still win state i went there
Damn, that brass was like Corps quality. And nice crisp clean drums. PLUS in sync colorguard. Bravo, definitely deserved best Band in Texas.
nice
And btw for those who don't know in the second song its not a keyboard its pike a vibrophone
Great performance. Can't wait to see you in person at Nat's.
omg did they do Les Preludes?!
