Igotveemon carremans the way he talks about the game is the difference. his deck profiles are so much more useful because of the thoughtfulness that he puts into them. it makes us all better listening to these kind of videos to see the thought process of great players.never said the decklist was the most innovative thing, as a matter of fact i was playing PK fire when everyone was still playing his first speedroid PK build so i know its not a new deck. its just a treat to watch the inner machinations of a good player.

He has innovated decks that have become large in our current meta and even previous metas. Honestly he is down to Earth and honest. I would not mind meeting him once for real just to say hi and ask him for tips or just casual talk. One of the few pro players I respect.

edit: concerning why cloak cant search certain traps, but can search any "the phantom knights" card (just incase people dont read the card and think its only the monsters), disregard my comment and instead read dzeeffs reply, i made a late night overdone screw up and he posted the fix. ty dzeeff! :) (also cant get strikethrough text to work well) although this meta is outdated now (yet pks are popular at this moment with brave) i feel like its important to mention, watching this back, cloak can get any "the phantom knights" card, but that quotation doesn't have the apostrophe after the s in the quotes, which certain phantom knight traps that were wanted then and still, like fog blade or wings, etc. contain in their name, and notably now the rank up spells. so thats why cloak cant get the cards like fog blade or other. ex: "phantom knights' fog blade", "phantom knights' wing" where as cards or specifically traps like brigandine dont have the apostrophe and so they can be searched by cloak, ex: "the phantom knights of brigandine". the difference can also be noted where cards that dont have an apostrophe say of, where as those without the "of {an object}" grammatically put " s' " (s and apostrophe) instead to not only make sense but add a balance mechanic to the names simultaneously. which is pretty neat. also to note, at least currently in the game, the traps with apostrophe and thus only searchable thru boots, are notable for special summoning phantom knight monsters back from the grave when banishing such traps, which is also probably why konami didnt want cloak searching them. at least for now...

The difference between Boots and Cloak is "The," weirdly enough. The cards that you're talking about (Fog Blade, Wings) don't include "The" in their name, and Cloak specifically searches "The Phantom Knights" cards. Hope this helped explain things!

+Daniel Malmstone most definitely it's a solid deck in the sense that it has multiple outs as well as a good engine his hands won't brick as often and he has more than one option he doesn't just make the same play over and over he can adjust to what he plays against
