Honestly my first time watching this arc all the way until the end of the Tartaros arc and not knowing at all what was going to happen episode to episode might be my favourite experience with anime yet. I was GLUED to my screen. We're talking hundreds of episodes there and I blew through them in a matter of a couple of weeks with a full time job. It was crazy. Good memories though. Fairy Tail gets a bad rap but I just love the characters, what can I say?
Natsu and yusuke are literally the best anime characters, they put it all on the line let their personality show while doing so , yusuke is hardcore while natsu keeps the caring side he got from igneel while still being a delinquent lol , igneel taught him well

I think the final season is still good and there's enough good animation for me to enjoy it, but yeah why on earth they had so many still shots is very weird. The manga was finished so there's no need for padding and they specifically delayed the anime so they'd have more time. So what the hell happened there.
