Great work Chris as usual! Watching your videos inspired me to do the floors in an old bronco. Rather than just patch them up I cut them all out and replaced them. Used same the tool kit, hired a local kid to help and just went at it. Followed what you did down to the spray on welding through copper primer to the epoxy primer snd the raptor paint. I just couldn’t be happier with the result. Roll bars going in next. Can’t say thanks enough Chris! Any body reading this just watch the videos get the proper tools together and take ur time.
I can watch you do metal work over and over. you have taught us a ton. appreciate it, don’t ever think we are bored of it always learning something from it
Dang you made me feel old when you said I wish I was old enough to have watched day’s of thunder when it was in theaters lol I remember I was 10 years old I can still remember going to the movies and watching .
Absolutely love the show, keep going bro . I gave up trying to find the car I've always wanted. I've been looking hard for a G- body car for about a year. Not much luck. Keep building em man , All of your shows are awesome.
Dang, only a year. You give up way too easily... It took me over 10 to get my Charger, and it will probably take me another 5+ years to get it where I want it to be...
Yeah, my dream car . I've got 2 and I've spent 12 or 13 years looking for them and unfortunately I had to realize that it just wasn't going to happen. So I've spent a year now looking for a G-body car , now I found a couple but there were total garbage. So we'll see what happens there. My dream cars which are 2 are a duster or a Nova. I've spent quite a while looking for either one, 12 or 13 years man , it's been nuts. So , now I figured I'd cut my losses and try to get a G-Body car . It's been a year this month looking, I never thought that finding one of them would be this hard .
Chris birdsong, master of mopar. Can turn a rusty turd into a respectable machine. I always love the work you do, very good work. Hope to one day do quality work like you.
Chris you probably had a time frame to have the floor done. You are a great metal worker and know how to get it done the fastest with quality. I remember that you have done work roadkill before. You took one car and put wheel tubs back in put the rear seat frame back in. Fryburver knows your work. Have good day
Roadkill car. Right on. Means it has a new gearstar 4l80, blueprint engine, QA1 suspension, Mosier axles and pawns like yourself to do the work. So "Fry n burger?" can show up with his timing light n be the hero. Your like a mechanic Hollywood stunt man. 😂
Yes...Roadkill and many channels are just front men for big corporations who want to "sell the dream" to working class shlubs who CAN'T AFFORD all the whizzy, expensive parts they are being convinced that they need.
The Road Kill guys had the best video about tuning a Holley carb. It was on a very old Ford pickup truck as I recall. They used a fuel mixture gauge and changed primary jets, secondary jets, accelerator pump cams, squirters, etc. I may be forgetting a few. Secondary springs, maybe. There is a scene where they lurch forward in the truck but forgot the tailgate was open and the jet kit open and had to spend a bit of time digging them out of the dust.
To capture a street sign in the wild...1) use your truck 2)back up truck, aligning the hitch with signpost 3) reverse until sign touches the ground 4) remove sign from post 5) haul ass before Johnny law gets your ass 6) you're welcome....
Mopar only made 1 floor pan for A Body cars. They too cut a hole in the floor for the shifter hump and it wasn't their proudest work. Mine was held in more by the seam sealer than by any welds they applied and the cutout was rough as hell.
At least it didn't fall short of a typical "Roadkill" moment and end up on the side of the road 😂😂😂. Even if it was only out of gas! 😂😂 Great video!! Thanks for sharing 👍 😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Amazing work as always. They really need to get some sort of finish on the roof or that’ll be fill of pinholes soon. Be a shame to wreck that roof skin.
Lol I remember days of thunder,,i was living in Daytona at that time it came out,,& i actually used to mow the grass at the track & i worked at a shell station next to the track & we'd watch the twin 125 races from the roof of the station!!😂😂
Chris I can`t believe you pulled out the interior again to paint it red, it`s getting carpet right. I thought poor Derik flew out of the car when you did the burnout, nope camera man, the floor looks great.
Saw something that looked really handy & useful. What is that flat steel bar you use to cut between the sheet metal ? Is that something you made or something you can buy ? I’m redoing my 72 Demon and that looks better than what I’m trying. Good video, & great work. 👍
I like to use a burr bit in a drill on spot welds. The bit lasts forever. However, it does throw a million tiny steel slivers everywhere. Umm, nevermind.
After seeing you do a frame graft on a charger frame I don't know whether to call you Dr. Dodge or Mr.Moper but you need to get with your neighbors and rename a local street "Burnout Blvd." Keep a '68 Charger on the ready in case I win the lotto!!!
What Is up my brother and fellow "run what ya brung" guy, one question, does the driver's side rear have all anti-theft lug bolts or are my TH-cam eyes deceiving me? Little known fact, in the Original Gravedigger the driver's seat was school bus bench seat!
There is absolutely nothing more labor intensive as major rust repair, love youre channel, every panel replacement video, i learn something new

Love your videos. You mopar guys are a special breed.
If I had 1.25% of the skill he has, I would be happy. Always impressed! Cool guy.
Dude just get out there and give it a go. You got this
Skills are developed with a lot of practice. Chris B. has had many years of practice.
Great to see another metal work / panel replacement video again from Chris

I tune in for you Chris and I love Derick (he is 1975) but the real star is Bolt lol Keep up the good work !
Always impressed with your work, Chris!
You are very talented Chris.
20:15 the wizz wheel sped up is the air guitar solo from the OG "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"! 😂
Finally some new content, thanks Chris!
You have the best intro of any car based yt channel by a mile. Love that you beat on your cars
Chris birdsong, master of mopar. Can turn a rusty turd into a respectable machine. I always love the work you do, very good work. Hope to one day do quality work like you.
Chris I had no idea all of the work involved change floors wow! Great job
fun little watch nice work on making floor pan install look fun and the full on blues Brothers moment

Like he says himself: way too nice parts on way to crappy cars
...and I'm here for it! At least RK cars have character!
Man your neighbours must love you. Nothing like a smoke run to meet and greet the neighbourhood
Your videos may inspire others to try to repair classic cars.
I never miss a new video!
It is easy following your videos, you make excellent content and you teach a lot as you work. Great job buddy. Aloha 🤙🏽

Hello 😊, en français le titre du film c'est; jour de tonnerre . Bon travail sur la voiture 👍.
I never even thought to put my phone in the speedo cutout on my Duster! 🤣 Love the vids man, doin some catching up tonight!
To capture a street sign in the wild...1) use your truck 2)back up truck, aligning the hitch with signpost 3) reverse until sign touches the ground 4) remove sign from post 5) haul ass before Johnny law gets your ass 6) you're welcome....
man you do great work . Wish you were in in topeka to work on my 71 Duster 👍👍👍👍👍
Mopar only made 1 floor pan for A Body cars. They too cut a hole in the floor for the shifter hump and it wasn't their proudest work. Mine was held in more by the seam sealer than by any welds they applied and the cutout was rough as hell.
Nice repair on the red ruster👍
At least it didn't fall short of a typical "Roadkill" moment and end up on the side of the road 😂😂😂.

Great video!! Thanks for sharing 👍 😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Hey Chris thank you for the video and great job 👍
Chris your th man when it comes to panels
Bet those rusted out fronts are from not just the windshield seal but the windshield wiper arm seals.
I remember going to see Days of Thunder when it came out as a little kid
Great job Chris, now go let the smoke outta them tires!
Great work as per usual.
like your content.the best.

Superb job, sweet Duster

? Why not go in from the passenger side ? Take that pop out window ? Just curious
I was thinking the same. Then they said remove the steering wheel and I laughed
Well I was old enough to watch Days of Thunder at the drive inn which isn't there anymore! Man I'm old lol!
damn, its nice to see a job this good!
How do you fix stripped out sheet metal screw holes? Like inside door panel or armrest screws?
Grab a MIG and put a weld on it , replacing some metal. May need to drill to size, depending on weld nugget size.
Chris
If you ever come to Washington with your modified I will wrench for free for the weekend
desert driver.
what about the harbor freight spot welder with mondo exdendo tongs?
Nice, you make it look easy.
Love a car like that, nice but not too nice to have fun with
Man, where I'm from, those are good floors. BTW, Johnny, AJ & Sue said "Hi".
Looking good 👍👍
Flex seal the new INEXPENSIVE alternative to DynoMat!!!!😅
I kinda had to chuckle, as soon as you said cheapAss, a commercial came on😂
Another great video! Keep it up!
Fun to watch. More fun than actually replacing floorboards. BTW - whose weld through primer did you use on this?
those cheap 55amp Chinese plasma cutters are excellent for cutting out the floors,
Yeee Yeee 🙂
Trying to watch this in class is hard I’ve been yelled at twice already
Time for a 440 powered Delorean?
The days of thunder ride at Kings Island was pretty awesome
Have you ever tried a Roto Zip for the spot welds ? I sympathize with you having to deal with the weather, you really need a shop to work in !
A dry, warm shop would actually make the work easier and may speed up the process. However, it is none of my business how Chris chooses to work.
Livin the dream

With all those water bottles, you could sell genuine Freiburger and Dulcich backwash to Roadkill fanatics on ebay.
Chris, I thought an A Body with a magnum w/ stock power steering interfered with the battery tray.
Derek llokin like the Geico caveman in the passenger's seat! 😂
What happened to Black Mamba??? Does anyone know?
I wonder if people who replace the pans might not remove the steering wheel and front windshield, and put the pan in from the front? 🤷🏻♂️
Whenever I see an accelerator arm froze like that it's the check valve is stuck under the nozzles
I noticed you didn't use the copper welding primer. Is it not available any more
I bought wrong box
I like it!!
Now paint it blue.
Wouldn't it be easier to put the floor in from the passenger side so you don't have the steering wheel in the way?
You should start selling those water bottles as Roadkill Memorabilia. Hell, maybe some weirdo will even use it to clone Freiburger.
I like to use a burr bit in a drill on spot welds. The bit lasts forever. However, it does throw a million tiny steel slivers everywhere. Umm, nevermind.
Like going to sheet metal school! 👍
👍🏼
how long does it take to do a job like this?
After seeing you do a frame graft on a charger frame I don't know whether to call you Dr. Dodge or Mr.Moper but you need to get with your neighbors and rename a local street "Burnout Blvd." Keep a '68 Charger on the ready in case I win the lotto!!!
👍
✌ Nice
It's a lot easier to get road signs if you take a battery operated sawzall with you you just cut the post off
👍
👍👍
General Dee Lorean?
I thought he gave it back to you? Or is that not the 1? I’m bad with colors but I thought it was that color and about that rusty
Jared at the questionable garage had to pop a window out of his duster to do his floors too.
LOL Great job.
Because Roadkill...😉😁😆
Wah Wah Wah

Too bad you couldn't come to Alaska I know where there's a DeLorean that's been sitting. Parked for over two decades. Very low miles.
What….I could do that, e-mail me heyjunkerup@gmail.com
😊
🦅🇺🇸💪😎👍
Nice
Pro level 10
I hope you threw all his water bottles and junk back on the floor behind the seats 😂😂
Wow! A '70 Duster that is not triple crap green!
