I am really sad to see this and remembering the memories from the past... I brushed the harsh words off said by my parents by saying that "i am born in a asian house so this is COMMON"... Firstly they hurt me and i fell into depression because of that... I confronted them they scolded me and said i am a ungrateful brat and said that every teenager has to face this (as it was common) i couldn't help but think if they didn't TORTURE us like this we would never be depressed... Later i said them to stop but they never did and also said them to make me go to a therapist bacause my mental health was become worse, thay just said they didn't want to waste the money on stuff like visiting a therapist.. I am sobbing while writing this and i also hope nothing like this happens to you... I just hope that you won't be do harsh to your child when you have one and to all the parents who are reading this please STOP. ABUSING. YOUR. KIDS... I have experienced it and it's torture for us please stop if you are doing it..
