That's pretty darn good sound floating around in a boat. And it appears that you work without a net. Looks like a good location for "Let the Mermaids Flirt with Me".
I love that damn motor!!!! It's funny I had a Johnson 4 from the early 70s for most of my life, so that Merc seems super-modern to me, but when I took it in to the shop last year the guys were like "wow, haven't seen one of those in a long time"!
@@lonesomeacestringband great story; inspired me to queue up that Steam Powered Aeroplane on the old turntable, only to find out i left my records in the sun.
This pandemic has probably expanded your fan base ( me included, I even got one of your clawhammer instructional video) , and the other thing is that you guys are really getting a “wild” looking personna. Kinda fun actually. No matter what, you’ve got a wonderful sound. Stay healthy.
So relieved the tune is about a Hereford
love the costumes
Man that little boat got some good sound
Sitting out listening to you play, would be a top day!!
Great playing. Loved it
Good stuff! Thanks!
Nice to see y’all! We play this at least a couple times a month in our jams in Victoria. 🎶🙏🎵
This tune, you both out on the boat, fills me with joy! Continue to have fun!

Really liked the strum you put in there. Playing with a capo, in a boat, dodging a bow is pretty stinking impressive! Kudos to you Chris!
Thanks Don...it was a pretty fun evening...could have put on some outtakes for sure!
Very nice! We used to play that one in the Stockholm Oldtime jam conducted by Rachel Eddy!
Rachel plays the hell out of this one (and pretty much everything else she plays!)...glad you enjoyed it!
@@lonesoneacestringband6858 Agree! You got it perfect though! Thanks.
nice shot of the 9.9 Merc' layin' low. great tune, rendered like a white knuckle ride on a north country lake. yee haw boys!

So good, you got a new fan here that's for sure!
That's what we like!
@@lonesoneacestringband6858 I just noticed you guys are going to be at the Cowichan bluegrass festival, score!!

This slaps
Did TH-cam send you a takedown notice for a fiddle tune?! Egads! If not, where'd the sound go?
What tuning you using, Chris? Not G. I love the sound of whatever it is
Chris hasn't answered but do you think it might be F tuning capoed?
gEGDE?
What banjo are you playing? It looks and sounds beautiful!
a 70s Vega Tubaphone...made in Japan...or possibly by Martin Guitar
How you tuned Chris?
Fdgcd...with a capo
