I saw an orange cone behind your van at your rv park spot...did the park give you that to save your spot when you left the park to eat or does the park manager keep new people from moving into your assigned spot? Just wondering as I've seen van/small rv people use cones or put up a small tent to hold/protect their spot while they are out. Have a good time at Campercon!

Hey guys, we're about 6 hours South of the Arch a mile off of I-5 and 5 miles to the Mt. Saint Helens Info center. Lots of room at the nursery if you need a place for the night. Water,power,bathroom. We also have a Class C parked out back if you want to stretch out or shower. Enjoy your time together.
Be glad you didn't stay in Twin Falls. I am not sure what it was, but I think it was a potato factory and it smelled bad. I do love that gorge, though. Have fun at Campercon! I just saw your solar panel install video and was interested in knowing how the 3M double-sided tape is holding up for the solar panels , I have a high top conversion van and do not want to drill into the fiberglass roof other than one small hole for the wiring. 3M caries a number of different kinds of that tape, do you know what model or SKU number it was?

No sir you don't have to do what you got to do with road construction. I was a traffic control supervisor and when you have a hill like that you have to put road construction warning signs before the hill or curve. They have formulations for all these things and if somebody were injured because they did not have the road properly signaged out that construction company could face a lawsuit because they would be held liable.

My wife and I are thinking of stealth camping in a shuttle bus. Ford Ameritrans. Do you think it's possible. Also have stealth in hotel parking lot. Any issues?
I am not familiar with that model but stealth is easier achieved with a vehicle that is 21 ft or less in length that can park in a normal stall. If you have that and it looks nice, stealth is easy.
Enjoyed your trip so far, great scenery - had to laugh when you mentioned 107F heat!! Over here (Ireland) we moan when it gets to 68F, but this is very rare - our usual temperatures are around 50F and especially where I live it is nearly always raining, day in, day out, all week, oh boy it is so wet here! Today, in "Summer" it is 57F - oh to live somewhere warm :)) Best wishes, Mike
