How to make candles like pro. DIY Flower Candle 7 ingredients Ingredients 1 Orange 1 Apple 1 Lime Dried flowers, as needed Candle wax, as needed Blue crayon, as needed Fragrance oil, as needed
@@scottlogsdon5607 Baker here ; there's also plenty of oil based food coloring. Or try gel and not water based. depending on what I'm baking and creating treats for my customers
warning: guys, be careful and i would recommend not trying this out, first off, dried flowers are flammable so it can end badly, second, i dont know how crayon will go in a candle, it could clog up the wick, please be careful if your going to try this out
If you guys wanna know how to really make candle so I have steps - 1- melt the candle but take out wicks 2-use a glass container 3- Put the wicks in glass container then make it stand straight with a ice cream stick *please make hole in the ice cream stick to make the wicks stand* 4-pour the wax and fragrance oil 5-got the candle❤❤
My method! And with good essential oil you don't need fruit! Water Bath and store your fruit on the shelf for emergency foods. Yes they make the candle beautiful but with the world situation we need to be prepping on a budget. Candles for light, fruit for health on a shelf!
Very pretty but please rather use the proper candle colorants instead of wax crayons. Wax crayons when burnt can release chemicals into the air you are breathing
Candle maker here (I don't sell them) I've used crayons to color candles and have had no problem using them. I've made candles for my friends and they have had no problems with the wick. That might just be me though. But also I agree with you on the food it's dangerous to just put random food in. Stay safe please.
Add hot heat from a hair dryer of some sort around the outside of the jar until it's slightly separated, turn upside down and lightly shake the candle out. Trial and error 😊
Music is odd choice for such a beautiful video. The video gave me more of a relaxing vibe of candle making, but that song gave me anxiety and the need to pace back and forth very fast 😂
This video is not cool at all. First off crayons aren't meant for this. It'll stop burning once it hits the crayon. Those oranges are cute but they'll stop the flame too . They can possibly catch on fire with the flowers in them too. There's videos and readings that speak specifically about this
I've done it for years, actually decades, and never had any big issues. But I started using dried fruit, leaves, etc because they won't mold and they stay better in some waxes like soy, vegetable, and the newer gel waxes. Like another comment I saw, fresh cut fruit exposed to air will mold. Make sure the wax completely surrounds the items you are placing in the candle. That's why I prefer dried items
Do not do this ! Learn how to actually make a candle safely before trying to " teach " others. This could very easily catch fire. A little knowledge is dangerous
That’s for beginners? 😂You have got to be kidding . Beginners? Where does the melted wax come from? The only thing I learned from this is how to use the largest knife on earth to slice fruit. Beginners huh? 😂Pretty though, but that just couldn’t have been for beginners. On to the next video .
Never colour candles using crayon as it clogs the wick n gives a disgusting black smoke when blown out
I can use food colorant?
@@nubesgrises660 food coloring is usually water based. Have you ever tried mixing oil and water?
And stink baddd
@@scottlogsdon5607 Baker here ; there's also plenty of oil based food coloring. Or try gel and not water based. depending on what I'm baking and creating treats for my customers

It was too scary

@{XxLavenderXx} ??
@@maddi_d when did melt when is the fruit be on the floor?
@@Driponsauce0 i wouldn’t say the fruit would be on the floor your candle would’ve probably caught the fruit on fire already 💀

Can I add few drops of coconut oil with fregrance oil on my Crisco candles?
I just wasted a ton of wax because I cheaped out and used crayon. My candles would barely burn then just go out. Crayon clogs the wick.
I make candles and I think that would work, for a day. They would get all moldy
Edit: how are people still seeing this comment 🧍🏻♀️
The purpose of packing the fruit is to create. Fragrant leather, it would last alot longer than you think
@@matang270 ????
@@beaubread LMAOOO
If dry will last longer
@@paolacufaroart it's not dry though it's just cooked, you would need to dehydrate them.

I absolutely positivel love this❤❤❤❤
GORGEOUS
Why not dehydrated fruit and actual candle dye 🤔?
Ok
She did dehydrate the fruit, you didn't see she put them on a cooking sheet and said to cook?
There needs to be a more informing video. I make candles and never use crayons! Dye is so cheap on amazon
@@MeliViews that's why i typed "and"
Outstanding ❤
Terrible idea to add crayons that will stink and burn black but also adding food will cause it to catch fire too overall very bad suggestions
First thing that crayon was wax crayon that will mix in wax and second think the food was at borders of candle not inside . But food is wasted
You never made candles from crayons in elementary school?
@@heavancrafts_decor it clogs the wick. No crayons
Can you use food dye to color the candle or no?

Amazing
Brilliant, just what I was looking for, many thanks
Thanks for this. What is the healthiest wax to use? I've heard that some candles are unsafe to breath.

This is how house fires start.
Dumb question but how do you get the finished candles out of the container ?
You don't , you keep it in the container
@@amishakejdiwal1127 the candle was taken out of the glass but how🤷🏾♀️
I think making sure the container is cold when you put the wax in helps it separate
You can use moulds
Literally asking the same question
wowwwwww incredible!!!!!!! < : )
How do you get the candle out of that container?👀
its plastic
Annnnnd? Break the plastic?
Add hot heat from a hair dryer of some sort around the outside of the jar until it's slightly separated, turn upside down and lightly shake the candle out. Trial and error 😊
Use pillar wax it's properties helps to pull out from the container itself
Welcome ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Yes stir
How do you cook it ??
How do you get the candle out of the container or does it stay in it? Video doesn't show

Lilin Aroma trapi a gais?
what song is this
Nothing comes up on Shazam ;(
Isn't that just gonna end up smelling burnt?
What? You can use crayons??
No! Using crayons can cause burning issues in your candles because of the dyes in the crayons. Absolutely do not use crayons.

This looks so dangerous. So many things can cause a secondary ignition.

Crayons don't let burn ur candles
No one mentioning how they got the candle out of a glass mason jar.
silicone moulds
Can u do it with a stainless steel mold?
You dont
This is not safe
Love inhaling some crayon smoke! Really helps when attempting a lung cancer speedrun!
Do you have to worry about fruit flies?
No because the fruit is dried
Those fruit are not done that is not long enough
this music too creepy for me
this is dangerous to try. 0/10 would recommend.
