@@HealthyObbsession Please, women have had prominent roles in television for decades. If anything, it's the men on tv who are made out to be absolute dolts while the women are the smart and capable ones. Also, I've seen plenty of women ogle and objectify good looking men. The only reason that's not looked down on is because society infantilizes women. They can sexualize men, but the reverse is taboo.

@@HelloTH-cam89 The thing about Dushku is that she's a tattle-tell. There is a problem with the working culture on filmsets. What was shown at trial was very tame compared to what's allowed to happen on a regular basis in that environment.
You're talking about an industry that doesn't perform drug and alcohol testing despite the fact these people operate heavy machinery, rigging dangerous electrical equipment overhead and perform moderate construction duties to accommodate talent and crew-- elaborate platforms, etc.
No other industry is so lax in its on the job safety standards to the degree that film production is.
This lax standard lends itself to the behavior of crew members on set as well. And if you speak up, being the freelance business it is, then you can kiss any potential for a long-term career goodbye.

Dushku did talk to Weatherly about the comments but it didn’t stop it. Neither did it stop when she went to spoke to the higher ups when it kept continuing. she not only lost her job he didn’t he didn’t have to pay her the Company did the only thing he had to do was say sorry
which doesn’t mean he meant it sure they hired someone to monitor if he harasses anyone else but that doesn’t mean this person will actually do their job or if they just got paid to shut Eliza and her team up
for all we know Micheal Weatherly will just be more intimidating or will go after younger smaller and named actors because they aren’t used to what’s ok or they feel like if they say anything they will lose their chance at acting in anything

My whole team was victim of harassment. our teamleader didn't see it. The replacement did, right away.It went up and up and the director came and presented apologies...Wow..better late than never. the usual teamleader was properly chastised too. I wrote an article about harassment/ a colleague on a private project (so I thought) which blew back in my face by hearsay. I met with my HR and my boss after they both read the article the latter gave me grief before reading it but had to before the reunion and he admitted I was fair;. a few month before my colleague was fired; At that point he was an Afghan man struggling with women not yet harassing the whole team.but he eventually did, and was fired. What did he do wrong ? everything.
the thing is I like him but he needs to be slapped around by women of authority.Just like kids he knows we "can't do that" until we do for his own good.

I'm a female, and I worked with the public most of my life. Men flirt. Hell, woman flirt! It's my experience that 99+% of the time....IF you are an attractive woman....that if you confront a Man who is sexually making moves on you and make it clear WITHOUT being a ...rude, snarky person...but genuinely let them know you aren't comfortable, or interested in how they are treating you...they stop. Even when I bartended....the drunkest "person" could be verbally stopped with no hard feelings.
Are there sexual predators out there? Of course!! I'm not saying there isn't..AT ALL. But I really can't help but think there a very unfair demonization going on..of men. In history times were different...but in today's world, in The United States boys are raised from birth pretty much to be respectful of the opposite sex. From birth!! I raised 5 boys, had 4 brothers...and there's such a fine line TODAY....If a guy asserts himself at all he stands a chance of being labeled a sexual predator. It's horrifying ! My question for this particular woman....if 9 million dollars wasn't enough to satisfy her delicate sensibility...why did she take it? What she's doing is whining because they didn't keep her on the show! How shameful! If you ask me...she's ruining her future because who's gonna risk a lawsuit over VERBAL SEXUAL INNUENDOS? I sure as hell wouldn't!! If she took 9 MIL...and said she was fine and signed a non disclosure agreement...that was that! If she wanted his life ruined she shouldn't have agreed to those terms!! Now she's just a bitch. And no one likes a bitch. I hope she budgets that 9 MIL well. The future will tell.

Yeah, hard to have respect for a bitch who poses in a men's magazine, and then bitches when men comment on her looks. Keep your clothes on and people won't think your a whore. How can people respect you when you don't respect yourself. I'll listen to the women, who have worked with him for years, and know him far better than she does. Maybe she should remove that stick from her ass and chip off her shoulder, and take a joke or a compliment. Instead of crying like a little girl.

It's not like he said "I want to bend you over my car and f%$!# to death." I mean, innapropriate comments happen every day. The problem was that she was fired when she complained, they broke her contract. She's claiming that's why. But maybe they fired her because she's a complainer. *I like both actors' work so I'm not sure what's going on here.* Weatherly has costarred with many attractive female actors including Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Cote de Pablo, Pauley Perrette, Sasha Alexander, Yara Martinez, Estella Warren. He jokingly took his pants off for Entertainment Tonight on set of the soap Loving. None of these actors have complained about Weatherly in this respect. So my question is: _What happened between Weatherly and Dushku that eventually soured into this public scandal?_
