But on the same note I don’t think spesh is that good a producer so I wasn’t disappointed per se. So I liked this joint…it won’t be on my year end list or get a ton of spins from me…but it was worth the listen. And I say all that to manage expectations lol

I feel about pitched up/down vocal samples how you feel about strings at this point lol. This joint was cool and pretty much what I expected which was basically just these dudes punching hard over some okay beats. This album will continue my 2023 trend of saying "Well that was cool...NEXT!" 😂 Oh, one thing I would say about Spesh production after being a long time fan, dude is for sure giving his best beats to the people he thinks need that shine at the moment. He was blessing the hell out of Che, El Camino, Flee Lord, Rasheed Chappell, etc. right before Covid hit.

I react to music based on a combination of what gets me excited and what I’d have good input on and I just dont think I add that much value with a reaction to that. It’s easy for me to react to both great rapping and bad rappin but pretty good rapping is the hard. Based on the peas and onions ep and hearing most of the sardines joint, the rapping is just pretty good. Decent rhyme schemes but no memorable bars imo and I don’t have much to comment on when he gets in that like 5 percenter bag. The production is straight fire imo but it’s simple 4 bar loops after 30 secs in I ain’t gon have much commentary. So that’s an unnecessarily long response lol but just wanna explain that I ain’t just blowing of the album lol legit just don’t think I can make a good vid out of it

So I kinda realize after recording this vid that the reason I’m not as low as a lot of specifically conway fans is because this album - was less than I hoped for but pretty much what I expected. I honestly don’t think spesh is that great of a producer and he’s even worse when he producer for himself so I was hoping the whole project would sound like the last 3 tracks but not surprised it didn’t. Then as good as Conway is, he’s been sounding uninspired lately. He’s had his movements where he kills a verse but then he phones it in on others. Then the more he distances hisself from Gunn musically, the worse his beat selection gets. But even with their flaws, their raw talent as rappers makes this a pretty good project imo. It’s bout as good as Benny and spesh’s project imo

Lazy for sure lol but I don't think he's fallen off. Even tho his rapping wasn't great on this project, his rapping actually hasn't been that bad lately plus GDMM was only a year and some change ago. Conway's biggest issue has been beat selection. I think thats a product of not working with Westside Gunn as much, but honestly it only takes 1 project of working with like a big ghost or a project that Gunn has his hand in to turn things around. But I def see where you're coming from...his been on a mean mid run lately lmao but I aint too concerned cus we're not that far removed from a top 10 aoty and he's also had other streaks of not great projects and it hasn't affected his career trajectory much
