It's a great looking watch and amazing value compared to the IWC ingenieur and mark X with the same movement. They've got great history with this piece.

I am more than happy with my B&M 39mm Titanium that I purchased one month ago. I spend countless hours reading reviews on many brands of watches to make a final decision. In addition to rubber strap, it comes with I have ordered a stainless steel one for it as I am use to metal strap that my last watches had (Tag Heuer and Omega Seamaster).
@@janfrosty3392hey, congrats on your watch. Do you mind sharing pictures of the titanium version on the bracelet. Seriously considering buying it. Thanks
Own the Riviera 39mm in steel/titanium for about 6mons now. Amongst all my sporty watches it is the rather elegant one. As I am not the biggest fan of rubber straps, have ordered the steel bracelet as well so I can swap. Found the IWC Mark XX quite tempting too, as it would be an upgrade to my old Mark XII. But pricing is prohibitive on the IWC and the Riviera provides a very differnt look.
I own a Rivera I purchased in Lucern Switzerland in 1983. I like the new BAUME & Mercier mid-size if they made it in 36 or 37mm with the same spec's as the new mid-size and with the same warranty. The 39mm mid size is a bit to large for me.
I owned this watch and the experience was a mess. The in house movement run +20 seconds day. Sent the watch to the "maisson " as they like to call themselves, and got it back after a month running in the same bad way. Send it back for the second time, and ask them make sure the movement is correctly adjusted, and as i was goint to be again 1 month without the watch, asked them also to please remove scratches (really scratches easily and I am extremely careful with my watches), and after that month, the watch came back to me with the same amount of scratches. I asked then about explanations, and they demand from me a lot of info, like purchase date, price, dealer, the 2 times sent to them tickets etc..and after do the whole process, they answered me: "thank you. We will send all this to the customer department and they will contact you". But They never did! Anything. Texted they few times more, and never reply me. I got rid of the watch as soon as I was able to.
I bought the 42 mm. Didn’t fully grab me at first. I put it away for about a year. Recently pulled it out and swapped on the rubber strap, I now keep it on my wrist 3 days a week.
Exactly! This ubiquitous butterfly clasp is the laziest, most uncomfortable, and least practical option a watch company could choose. I can mostly forgive using it on a dresser, but it's a no-go and a real deal breaker on a sports watch.
Shame it's 39mm, wish they made them a bit bigger. 39mm is way to slow and I don't get people's obsession with it and all these comments "it's too big", "wish they made it 39mm" etc. I think 40-42mm is a sweet spot. 😮😊

Esse movimento é fabricado por IWC ou Baume & Mercier? 🇧🇷

ESPECIALLY when compared to the IWC, which lists for nearly four times as much. I'm definitely going to look into the B&M Rivera!

How much was the metal band out of interest? Was that direct from B&M? Thanks
@@geoffbaines226 I paid AUD700 for it, but I am still waiting for it to arrive. Should not be very long now according to retailer. Cheers.

Like the dial, this 39mm is a bit of a smokey that punches waaay above it's price bracket - especially with a in house 5 day PR movement!
Very nice looking watch. An 8-year warranty is pretty hard to beat.
Shame it doesn't come on a titanium bracelet too, bit of a missed opportunity.

Sharp looking watch.
I scored a 36MM Metas Constellation Rhodium dial for 2.9 K brand new. My wife rocks it everyday!
Artwork worth collecting👍
A great looking but I do not consider ANY watch that has no micro adjust in its bracelet.

As an option, you can easily adjust the rubber strap/clasp.
Oh man, I want one bad.
if it only would have a better clasp it would be a real alternative
Very beautiful indeed
Very impressed! Seems like a lot of watch for that kind of money.😎👍🏼
Such a nice piece.
The price which you say & mentioned in the video doesn't matches please recheck & confirm .
Indeed you are correct. The voiceover is stating USD. the essentials card in the video has it listed in AUD.
This could really be an amazing piece, but the asymmetrical placement of the "baumatic" text is mind boggling.
What bothers me much about this watch is the minute hand jumps like hell when the crown is pulling to the 2nd position 😓
I assume that "...attached to the wheel..." of a LeMans car means the steering wheel.

So nice!!

Completely agree! That's why today I bought a 42mm version of Riviera. Sports watches need to be slightly larger
Nice 😊 1st
