We bought our one spring 2020...been really good for the family through 2 summers and lockdown....helped my 6 year old keep confident with her face underwater
Really been enjoying our Lay Z Spa Hawaii. Were not sure about them until we visited Iceland and our accommodation had them. The only minor problem we have is that although the temp is set to 40 degrees we frequently come out to use and see the temp is 39 yet the heater has turned off. It might seem trivial but that one degree seems to make all the difference on a chilly evening.
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. The heater turns off once it reaches 40 and the water cools down until it gets close to 38 degrees before coming back on again. Those 1-2 degrees are certainly noticeable. I sometimes turn the heater off and on again if I notice it happening to get it back up to 40.
@@SailingAquila thanks! Glad to know it is not a fault or anything. We have found it worth checking the tub about a half hour before we plan to use it and as you say turn off the heater if it is showing green and then on again so it is red and heating. Thanks for all your advice on these videos which have been really helpful.
I'm now trying to decide between the Lay Z Spa Hawaii and the Mspa Otium.......decisions, decisions. Every time I think I've decided, I read another review!
It looks like Mspa have really thought about their hot tubs. I’ve been keeping mine at 25deg then boosting to 38 but the electric bills have spiked. I’ve got the Lazy Spa Miami which has 2 timer settings and I’ve watched the lazy spa videos and I still don’t get them 😂 Have you got a video on that ? I’m going to go deflate the easy way now, thank you x
I'm thinking of getting this Mspa OPtium, however I have this area which is 190x190, I see on the site it says this spa is 185x185. Does it expand a lot with the water in it? Do you think it will fit in a 190x190 space?
Hi! I have a air leak somewhere in my mspa. Do you know how to find and fix. I reached out to mspa directly and no response. I love my inflatable and would prefer not to dump. Just got it in 2021
Usually a case of going around carefully trying to find it - visually and listening for hiss. Is it's 'inside' the tub then unfortunately it's almost impossible to repair.
I’m about to sell my lazy spa Vegas. Iv enjoyed the hot tub over last 18 months but it’s failed twice now due to inner liner splitting. I will get this replaced for the second time under warranty and then likely sell. I think the warranty exp next June but if it’s failed twice it will again for a 3rd time. And I’m not paying £250 for a liner.
Really hard to gauge. Both do become cooler during use, especially when air temp is cool and the bubbles and running. Equally, both allow you to run the bubbles and heating at the same time.
I've just bought an mspa aurora for my daughter's birthday and can I heck get the water the right way to get in it. I've read instructions etc but says still too high. I've tried doing the pH reducer too but no joy. Can't use it .might just empty the water n start again.stress!
Take a water sample to a pool place. Most if not all will test the water and tell you what to add to fix it. Used to do this for my pool. Hope this helps.
@@wanderer508 I'm moving on the 9th may so hoping the water will be a bit easier to control, coz my daughter is special needs,I got the mspa aurora to kinda help her to chill out, but thankyou,I will deffo look into advice on that,as I didn't realise would be so difficult to get water right (my fault) lol. Thankyou for your reply.i didn't realise how much effort it took to keep water right, live and learn lol
What have you found switching the tub off for periods does for the water quality? If you’re switching it fully off there’s no water movement at all so does that not create any issues?
I don’t have any problems with water quality when turning off the filter. You still need to keep an eye on chemical levels - typically a chlorine float set to low will maintain it. I do normally keep the filter running for 12 hours/overnight after using the tub rather than turning it off immediately. This makes sure any debris or hairs etc are removed before leaving the water for a while.

Just got my first hot tub, the Mspa ottoman comfort. Your videos are a great source of info. Thank you!
Really informative.

That's not ideal. The inner liner shouldn't be failing like that, so I think you've been unlucky.
Hello there, how fast do you think "Opium" and "Lazy-Y-Spa Hawaii Hydrojet Pro" lose heat compared to each other when used? ☺️
