میڈے فرض فریضے حج زکوٰتاں ، صوم صلاۃ اذان وی توں
میڈا ذکر وی توں میڈا فکر وی توں ، میڈا ذوق وی توں وجدان وی توں
میڈا سانول مٹھڑا شام سلونڑا من موہن جانان وی توں
میڈا مرشد ھادی پیر طریقت شیخ حقائق دان وی توں

میڈا حُسن تے بھاگ سُہاگ وی توں میڈا بخت تے نام و نشان وی توں
میڈا ڈیکھنڑ بھالنڑ جاچنڑ جوچنڑ ، سمجھنڑ جانڑ سُنجانڑ وی توں
میڈے تھدڑے ساہ تے مونجھ مُنجھاری ہنجنڑوں دے طوفان وی توں
میڈے تلک تلوے سیندھاں مانگھاں ناز نہورے تان وی توں
میڈی مہندی کجل مُساگ وی توں، میڈی سُرخی بیڑا پان وی توں
میڈی وحشت جوش جنون وی توں ، میڈا گِریہ آہ و فغان وی توں
میڈا شعر عروض قوالی وی توں، مینڈا بحر وی توں اوذان وی توں
میڈا اول آخر اندر باہر ، ظاہر تے پنہاں وی توں
میڈا فردا تے دیرزوی وی توں ، الیوم وی توں الان وی توں
میڈا بادل برکھا ، کھمڑیاں گاجاں بارش تے باران وی توں
میڈا ملک ملیر تے مارو تھلڑا روہی چولستان وی توں
جے یار فرید قبول کرے سرکار وی توں سلطان وی توں
نہ تاں کہترا کمترا حقر ادنےٰ ، لاشئے لا امکان وی توں
English Translation:
O’ beloved! Don’t let me open my heart’s feelings
Hundreds of thousand feeling in my heart are all because of you
Blinking eyes fluttering with love are seized
Those loving emotions are now resulting in grief while we are parted ways
Eyes weeping, mourning and grieving
Remembering the secrets of love among us
Fareed, my friend, he is been blessed by Allah(God) Almighty
Who is been attached to his spiritual guide
You are my Ardour and my friend
My religion is you, my faith is you
You are my body and my soul also
My heart and my life are both in you
My Kaaba (the House of God), my direction, my Mosque and my Pulpit
All Holy Scriptures and The Sacred Quran are you
My obligations, my duties, pilgrimage, and charity
Fasting, prayers, and the call to prayer, it is you
My asceticism, worship, obedience, and righteousness
You are knowledge, and mystic wisdom
My remembrance is you, my thoughts are you
My passion is you, my Ecstacy is you
My charm, dearest, evening and serenity
I am enchanted, you are my beloved
My mentor, guide, master of the path
You are the knower of spiritual truths
My hope, my aspiration, my earned and spent
My refuge, trust, and protection
My religion is you, my trust is you
My shame is you, my pride is you
My pain, my happiness, my crying, and my solace
My suffering and remedy is you
You are the reason for my happiness
You are also the provision for my sorrows
My fortune and my fame is you
