A dream machine i won't sleep tonight.
You better sleep because you’ll be riding this thing up to the museum!
At 65 theres a couple of dirt bikes i had in the early 70s. I wish i still did. To see these bikes kept in this condition for 50 yrs blows my mind. Maybe there is a little hope for humanity 😂 love that color of orange.
I had a Kawasaki SSS90 back in 72 in Tucson AZ best motorcycle I ever had
Lovely bike, top show watch it all the time, thanks from England
Great Days in America 🇺🇸
My twin cousins had them 😂
Back in the 70s . Two bikes
Orange one and the green one.
They lived in the Smoky Mountains
. Mountains couldn't stop them.
I had one in the 80,s. I'm 6ft 3 245lbs. Hauled me around with ease. Great trail bike too. Real fun bike.
Beautiful lil baby. My first real 125 was a 72 ke125
You nailed it . . Frigging beautiful. In the 70s someone in a nearby neighborhood had one. Not sure of the year model. They removed front fender and signals and put knobby tires on it . Yes it hauled the mail and was a real bad ass
Super fun bike as a kid
Shes a beauty!! LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!
My very first bike @15, looked nothing like that but sounded the same.
Cool. When I was in high school back in the 70s may math teacher used to ride one to work.
Very cool!
Sweet reminder of my youth, lovely little bike there
This looks so fun to out around on ! Love it bro! ANd would you just look at it!!!! I love the inside joke reference!!!! LOL
That is one very gorgeous and rare bike. Before watching this video, I had no clue Kawasaki even made this. It looks like it could be the offspring of two widowmakers, if streetbikes were capable of mating. Lol...Thanks for this truly awesome video.
Awesome!!! Bikes were so much more fun and well thought out back in the day! Especially the 2 strokes!!!
You keep us young ken god bless you
Love it never seen one in the uk
That’s crazy I’ve never seen one of these
I sweat ride Ken. Excellent motor cycle for a collector.
Sounds like my late Dads 1974 Kawasaki G5 100 Enduro. The look is Similar too. Wow! Definitely A Time Capsule! These Bikes had Simple Style to Let The Good Times Roll. Again, Alot of Emotion here because it reminds me of my Dad.
Rotary valve were the thing with Saki until 1978 KX era.
A very rare mint 90
Absolutely beautiful and perfect.
Amazing
rare beauty thx Kaptain!!
Would you just look at it? Just look at it! I think I heard Jordan chuckling when you said that. Luv it.
In the mid seventies a bike like this topped 50 mph up A very steep hill in my neigbourhood 😊
What a little Gem.
Wow, that sounds, and looks awesome! I'll say it again, MAKE 2 STROKES GREAT AGIAIN, America want's its 2 stroke street bikes back! We don't need no EPA, rules or regulations.
Amen Brothers! Please, Make 2-Strokes Great Again and a New 2-Stroke KX125. Thank You Lord!
Why do you guys not have any cannondales?
We have 2!
Holy💩💕💥 wow what a step back. I guess this one should never be touched except to run it to keep it in workin order. Kinda kool 👍
Heys guys just wondering if you have or had any Kawasaki kl 250s.. my father has a 1978 here in Ireland 😊
Nice! Only thing this thing needs is 927 oil :) what ratio this runs at ? 32:1 ?
Very nice little motorcycle! In great condition too 👍. Except for the original tires, I would not ride a single meter with them!
I had that one back in 1978 , bought it when it was broke from a poor student 😁for about 90 $ . Fixed it, just a new piston ring and a load of wd 40 and off to the race , it was a great bike 🤗😁
I later traded it with a Maico 250 , it was good times. 😁
I'd have a hard time letting this baby go!
One of my co workers was delivering at the packy!😂
Bought a 73 in 74 for $350 from a friend of my dad. It hauled ass for 89cc. Wish I still had it.
This was my first motorcycle exactly like this but I got it in 1974 I was 14 years old
id say im love. damn good looking bike. like an air plane
💚💚💚💚💚💚
"Would ya just look at it"
I had one new, it was hotter than hell...it kept burning out the rotary valve..but when it ran, it would blow the doors off anything up to 125cc...FYI..i bought it on Peachtree Road in Augusta, Georgia at the Kawasaki dealer for $445 brand new..
Nice. All you need is to get rid of that gold chain.
I don’t know why they do that
@@quickturn66 that's their signature.
@@cajuncyclerestorations145 I know, but it looks out of place on a lot of bikes such as this one.
God, I so want that bike, but I can't afford it (i'm in massive medical debt)! What if I pay you a dollar a month in installments until I die?
Shouldn’t a time capsule like this be kept in your museum? Do you have more than one?
Yes we have the twin.
one word: torque
HEY Kaplan you stated you have won multiple 250 championships. Curious what exactly these championships were ? thanks
You asked 3x. I answered 1x. Im easy to find my phone numbers everywhere im at the shop 12 hrs a day if you got questions i got answers.
I always wondered why they stopped making motorcycles like this. Seems everything out there are huge cruisers or sport bikes. These smaller motorcycles are the best looking in my opinion. Would be cool if they brought something like this back. I have seen some Chinese clones but the build quality is questionable.
I have one 1973 g3.
That is a 73 not a 72
I had my 72 in your museum for 6 months
Meep meep
