- Left side Supertrapp can is quite dented up and we can't afford a $1,500 new system so let's restore it! Making a mandrel to work out the dents, removing the muffler core and getting it done! Thanks for watching. VFR750F.
Great video, I’m currently battling a vintage DG RCM muffler for a 1985 Honda ATC 200X that spent the last 20 years in a swamp. Mine is black (rusty) steel with many dents. Thanks for this vid.
So when you got up this morning did you have breakfast in America? These are coming thick and fast, nice one mate. My god that bike looks REALLY naked stripped out!
I see what you did there. 😂. The subframe is removed and painted. It’ll go back on soon.
Interesting video, but let's leave the video about the rash go, just a little to much info, we can deal with the reach arounds maybe.lol keep the videos coming, it's good intertainment. Thanks again.
I have the same exhaust and am
Planning on doing the same thing however the threads on each disc are stripped. What would you do? I don’t think they can be retapped personally
You mean the threads on the ends of the mufflers. The discs have through holes. I believe they’re 10-28 imperial. Least they were on mine. If they are you might be able to go to a 12-24 or something like that. Or a slightly larger metric size like maybe 5mm.
Gd job man I may have used a much bigger diametre thick wall pipe I thought of a twin roller device with a long leg on it for the internal roller the rollers would need to b slightly dombed like an English wheel the mounting plate might thwart some progress. I sound like u nuttin like a good reach around 😂😂😆😎
I thought of the rollers also but for these, not worth that kind of build. Thanks for watching and commenting.
