It's the driver attentiveness camera. Checks you are looking at the road and monitors for drowsiness etc.

When your hand comes to the screen and it zooms in it does
It’s though to justify this car when you can get a m3 for less $$
Then it would be because it has more back seat space and cargo 😁👍
It's easy to justify if you want a bit more room and a more comfortable car. The M3 is a great car but it's not as smooth or comfortable as this and for the daily drivers/city drivers, that may be more important.
256 miles on an almost full tank. Lol
