How beautiful. Thank you both for sharing. I have watched all your episodes in this world cruise series. My best friend is on her way to Hong Kong to join the ship on Wednesday. She will be on board for 12 nights. Sadly I was not able to because of work. I will be watching to see if I catch a glimpse of her. Thanks again for allowing me to live vicariously fru you .

It’s a shame that they didn’t let you visit for 2 days. Love Bali, they are such lovely people. I normally stay in Sanur, Nusa Dua and Ubud but this time I stayed in Kuta. This last time we took my 80 year old mum. Just a note: Ubud has uneven paths and lots of steps, so if you have mobility issues (my mum) it is hard work. I would recommend Sanur or Nusa Dua minimal stairs, can walk straight onto beach. They have shiny floor tiles so please be careful as they get very slippery in rain or with your room’s air conditioning. It the hotel I stayed in an elderly lady fell and fractured her knee cap and ankle. Her hip was also very bruised from the wet floor. (I’m a nurse and witnessed her falling). Bali has great medical care at the private hospitals (need insurance as they charge similar to USA). I did a hospital tour, medical clinics and birthing unit tour in 2023 for 7 days. It was excellent. From Perth Western Australia.

It's all about making the most of the time you have and embracing the island's spirit.
Minimum a week.
Of course, if you have the luxury of time, spending a month or more in Bali can be an incredibly enriching experience.
First come for a week, we had friends that did not like Bali, they say in Kuta.

Thansk for watching and your nice compliments on our travel video. I use the pacsafe brand of purses and also the travelon brand. These are crime proof. Locks, wire straps cannot be cut and the bag itself is anti-theft proof where it cannot be cut. You will feel secure with them. I got them on Amazon but Have seen them in travel stores.
