They did actually, given the extra movement abilities that we're going to have in Lightfall fixing (not nerfing) Eager Edge makes complete sense before it completely breaks the game. Funny how everyone tells Bungie to "fix the game" and when they patch glitches that people exploit they suddenly get super upset.
We want everything that pleases us. What irritates the players, such as myself, when Bungie find out there's a loop hole, got it nerfed, and that got us all angry.
Honestly, this movement mechanic showcases so much of the beauty of in world game design and plays into the feeling of being a powerful entity so well it should just become a permanent movement option instead of nerfing it.
I've been OOB searching since Forsaken and let me fuckin tell you guys that dont play often. It's only gotten worse. No joke almost cyberpunk bad in some parts of maps *cough cough Nessus cough cough*
@@Ineedbout3fiddy so it is the eager edge glitch (shatterskate or wellskate). You swap to sword while on a ledge and then right click, then you jump and then you hit shatterdive/well of rad ult key. You do this all within 1.5-2 seconds and you go zoom. They were also using icarus dash because that is you not die from hitting a wall while also leaving you with all of the momentum which is how they bounced off of walls at that speed. They used heat rises to have infinite warlock glide so they could go over the walls in garden as well. Last but not least they used the grenade launcher to give just I little bit more speed/movement when needed.
At 2:25, I want a an amazing, crystal clear image of that entire scene, minus the HUD and the flying warlock obviously, so I can use it as my desktop background. It’s such an amazingly beautiful map, and the environment is really under appreciated by the community.
So for the people that were saying that eager edge nerf wasn’t a nerf let me ask you this: what if I gave you a bottle of juice without saying anything other than (here for you) and you drank it, and after a day I come and tell you only half of it was yours what kind of reaction would you have? The fact that they left this for months and dropped an enhanced version for it says a lot about whether it was a nerf or a fix.

This is absolutely proof it was unnecessary to nerf Eager Edge. They can't just throw up invisible barriers like they do in pvp when someone finds a cheesy perch or crack in the wall? I think whoever is in charge of solutions isn't a practical or critical thinker, but rather an all round kill joy.
Except the "fix" targets all momentum. Meaning that if you're already moving quick because someone, say, yeeted you off the map with an Eager Edge body check themselves your sword suddenly won't work, meaning you can't save yourself with your own Eager Edge. And as this video proves people are going to make it work without it regardless. As someone who didn't Well/Shatter/Bubbleskate and just liked the Surprise factor in Crucible of a single swing myself, meaning I didn't get affected at all by this? I'm pissed that they nerfed it because they did it without warning - which sets a terrible precedent going forward - despite it being in the game for 11 months without issue, and this is with a ton of other things like disabled Exotics not working right, things that could've otherwise used that time and manpower. The Duality dungeon - paid content - is still laughably broken to the point I can't run it without wiping several times on Caiatl due to random telefrag deaths beyond player control. There's any number of other things in the game that would've been far better for Bungie to devote their time and energy to and they chose this, which is even worse with the announced Divinity nerf only a day or two later. Divisive topic, yeah, but the bottom line is they've made a LOT of people angry over truly trivial crap that could've been ignored over other more substantial priorities.
Bungie’s the type of company to watch this and be like “Hmm, this is concerning. Time to nerf the entire Warlock Solar subclass, Mountaintop and the Eager Edge again”

If you're playing carefully it may take you upwards of 1h 30min, think my run was like 1h 37 or so. All my other solo flawlesses have been around an hour. Just commit.

Since you're chasing the boss from 1st to 2nd encounter and actually killing him on the 3rd there's no need for resources to be used with having enemies there they just don't spawn them yet. The exception happens when you reach the final boss since the trigger is just there lying in wait. However for the room before the final boss I have no clue and can't give you an answer on why no mobs spawn there.
@@Cross1nsan1ty the reason mobs don't spawn in baseball harpy room or elevator climb room is because they are based off ground trigger in certain areas. The less you touch the ground, the less the game thinks your loading into other areas

I’ll be honest I was more pissed with them prioritizing eager over something like duality being horribly broken for months.
One is a quick code change and the other takes longer to locate the issue and then figure out how to fix it. Guess which one is which
