Here is our unboxing video on Razer's new DeathAdder V2!! We also do an in-depth comparison to the previous model the DeathAdder Elite. The DeathAdder series is one of the most popular gaming mice in the world and has sold over 10 million copies! @@philip7833 Lol what's up Soda. i'm very different in that... i get nauseated if I don't play high FPS games for a long time and then come back and suddenly play it. All I typically do to get over it is just continue to play it moderately and my body adjusts. Lol After a few days max of moderate but consistent playing, I don't feel nauseous anymore.

Hey man, I just wanted to say I really appreciate how in depth you went in this video. Starting with showing off every single side of the box and what things said on the box, to all the comparison sound tests and such. I don’t ever see reviewers give the info you gave and I appreciate that man! I dropped a like and subscribed. Gonna pick up the V2 today to replace my Elite. Definitely want that lighter mouse.
Hey, I really truly appreciate your comment and feedback on this. I've made several unboxings and I tried to take my viewers through the entire experience which includes unboxing the item obviously and the box itself. After doing this for a while, i definitely do have some people that think it's stupid to even touch on the box and they want to get straight to the product out of the gate. I personally enjoy reviewing the detail that companies put into their products and their packaging. The effort put into that says a lot about the product itself and the company already. Lately, I've been trying to find a balance between the unboxing experience and the review itself but yes, thank you for sharing what you value and ultimately i want to do what makes me and the viewers happy!

Anyone else having issues with the V2 doubleclicking about 1/10 times .. I had the same issue with the zowie ec2.. havent used that since i bought it.. Are the buttons just too sensible at first and i have to use it a little??

You can’t aim with a touchpad doesn’t ur pc have 2 usb slots just use an external mouse and keyboard stupid

This looks beautiful. Looks like a good side for my small hands as well. I'm too used to using huge heavy mice that feels like something is broken inside and is flopping around. I'm not lying when I say that it feels like I'm still using those old ball in mouse, mouse. Everytime I have to slide across the computer, because of the space I have, I have to lift the mouse and drag the cursor again. My oh my, it's like there's an elephant tripping over itself on my desk.

I’m going to buy a new mouse soon and the current one I have is a doodoo £16 one so anything will be an upgrade I guess BUT the mouses in the top section are £40-50 and I want to look at everything before I decided the spend a whole £70 on the zowie mouse. Seems a bit much 70 does so I want to know what you’d recommend- if I’ll be fine with the v2 or what. Please reply

My apologies if this sounds noob. I recently got a Macbook Pro for work and wanted to confirm if Deathadder v2 will work with it. I do see that it says it's compatible with Windows on the box, but no mention for Mac. Thanks.
the v2 has a better grip or something I guess. After over 1000 hours of using the elite my grip thingy with the textures on the side is starting to peel. I tried to glue it back but is some how stretched so my grip is like half glued.
that sucks! Might be time to retire that mouse and get the V2 if you like the shape that much.

Can you tell me the correct way to setup this mouse for first time? And the synapse 3 software is obligatory to use it?
You do not need the razer synapse software to use it first. It's plug and play. However you'll need it if you don't like the preset dpi settings
Looking to purchase a gaming mice but I'm stuck between- Death adder v2 vs. basilisk v2 which one would you go for. Any major differences between them? Thanks
Both are good mice ,
i need help :( would you recommend v2 or viper ? I use it for gaming and work.
I would personally choose the Viper. It's still very ergonomic. I'm not the biggest fan of the side buttons but it's a good mouse overall and feels great for productivity too.
the maximum dpi isn't necessarily for using it at that dpi but so the sensor it more accurate so if you have 2 mice set at the same dpi, the one with a higher max dpi will be more accurate.
you should try the steelseries rival 600 if you like the deathadder, 12k dpi, one of the best sensors ever, better rgb (for the ones who care), and you can adjust the weight
I got a question when you plug in the mouse does it automatically come with a lighting effect or does it have a green color because I wanted to use this on my Xbox?
It comes with the lighting effect by default.

I previously had a bad experience with rzer products, but from what i see now with the reviews it looks like theyre improving their products
They definitely are improving. I would love to try the viper ultimate or regular viper but the side buttons are so small and recessed, idk if I will like it. The tech is amazing though as far as the sensors and switches go 👌

Can you adjust the brightness of the LED?
Yes, you definitely can using the Razer Synapse software. You can do it on both mice as well (and as far as I know every current Razer mouse).
is the deathadder v2 good for big hand and palm grip user ?
yes, i actually think that it's best for large hands and palm grips.

So overall what would you recommend?I'm moving from the g403 hero and planning on getting a new mouse very soon. I've had a lot of recommendations for the model o but I'm honestly not sure what to choose between. This or the model o. What would you say personally?
I actually really like the g403. That's a great mouse and good shape with nice side buttons. If you're very comfortable with the ergo shape with the 403, then i think the deatheadder v2 is a great step up and would be a natural transition for you. I like the Model O and i personally prefer ambi-shaped mice like that so that would be MY preference. Keep in mind, there's also a model D that's similar but in ergo shape like the deathadder and g403. Overall, the deathadder v2 is CLEARLY a better "quality" mouse though in my opinion.

Which one is better the deathadder v2 or the glorious model D?
I personally thing the deathadder v2 is a better quality mouse all around. The Model D has the benefit of less weight and I think it looks better aesthetically in some ways. For me also the model D's side buttons are nice but they're seated a little too high for my liking. I would choose the deathadder v2, but it's hard for me to call any mouse "better" than the other because everyone has a different preference, but that's MY take.
Razer really bringing the competition. The buttons sound so crisppp. I wish logitech would stop using omrons though and create their own switches to get rid of that double clicking. Anyways, great in-depth review.
Thank you! yeah, they have been stepping it up lately. I've heard of a lot of people getting those double clicking issues but i've never experienced it. I've had good experiences with logitech too. Still considering picking up a g pro wireless.

I really, really liked the V2 because of the shape, cable, feet (like slightly more control oriented hyperglides, very nice) and even the software played nice with my PC. However... I couldn't justify the crazy price here of 80 euros and the sides are good, but not especially so for too sweaty hands like mine are during summer. Airconditioning isn't exactly a thing where I live and it's always 85% humidity so until I find an answer to that and the price goes down slightly I'm going to have to pass for now. But I did really, really like it.
I also own the Model O (second batch, old cable still) and Model D (first batch) and they both have some QC issues, but for the price I do really like those as well.

Hey I’ve been doing Aton of research on getting a mouse I watched your glorious mouse video and I am thinking about the model o but I have heard bad things about in your honest opinion what is the best mouse out there right now plz help me I’ve been stressing on finding a good gaming mouse
The Glorious Model O is my current main mouse. It isn't perfect but it's a good mouse. If you want me to find the negatives.. I think the scroll wheel could "feel" better but it's fully functional so i can't complain too much. My other main gripe is.. The left mouse button "play" bothers me a little. I can definitely feel it wiggle back and forth during gaming and casual use. It's not a gamebreaker but the feel isn't there for me. I'm looking to try the Endgame Gear XM1 as soon as someone stocks up on it.
But overall, I still think the model O is still a good mouse and i recommend it in general. Otherwise, it wouldn't be my main.
