I have been having a fantastic time with this mobile suit! Hi Nu Gundam is such a great addition, with its support funnels and all the beam options! The melee on this Gundam is so strong that I was able to score 143k damage in a match with friends on my team. I put the support funnels on them often and their damage counts towards yours and it’s just so powerful at helping suits without funnels.
I think they used the metal build hi nu for the model for this one. Hi nu feels like it needs more weapons like its wrist gun and shield missles or maybe a second melee option with 2 beam sabers or something
im honestly fine with the weapons it has, i've been using the beam rifle mainly and i have had many times i have been left with no weapons but thats usually cause i wasnt being careful and forgot to take breaks to manage the heat, as long as you dont rush too much you can avoid overheating everything at the same time and if you make sure those funnels are out as much as possible you can do a pretty large amount of damage with ease
@axlejones6281 if the funnel attack didn't overheat after one use, I'd agree with you. Although I've been using the ff nu gundam, and it can always be shooting something, so perhaps I'm just used to having options for offense at all times
@@blackarotthegreat8191 for the most part you shouldnt be using the funnel attack repeatedly anyway with most suits, in Hi-Nus case its best to use the support or shield funnels while the attack funnels are on cooldown depending on if you need defense to get out of a bad spot or a damage boost
It honestly feels like a fusion between the original design and the redesign from 2006, but I guess the metal build does exactly that too, so you're right
I cant wait for the F91 grunt suits like the Heavygun and G-Cannon when they finally arrive to the game, being about 15 meters tall they should be pretty fun to use.
pretty sure we aren't getting F91. The games balance would be a nightmare with the tech on F91 units and the fact that they are so strong it wouldnt be fair at 700 cost.
This suit is crazy. I’m more partial to the appearance of the one winged angel looking Nu Gundam. Something about that lopsided funnel look is just timeless for me. This thing is cool too though. I really really wanna see a team of non funnel units beat up on a team of funnel suits. Watching that would be hype and satisfying some how.
The Hi Nu is a very interesting suit, it’s strength definitely lies more in it’s mobility and ability to stun enemies easily. It doesn’t have the same raw power that other four stars have and it very much wants you to use almost all of its tools at once to get the best results. I got the suit and I’m not the best at using it yet but I am very impressed, use range weapons to get in close and then do a bit more damage with melee. Despite it being a general I think this thing will fit comfortably in the hands of an experienced raid player. Although oddly enough one of my favorite things about this suit is it support funnel ability, had the time of my life the other day with the buffed kshatriya as I got a good team that could hold the front line and I was able to bombard the enemy of my hearts content while also getting help with support funnels, IT WAS RAINING BEAMS!!!
looks like it is the rg size scale but is the slimier redesign they did a while back. it also does not have the gun that's supposed to be one the right arm. it will be fun to see what the HWS of these or the regular Nu gundam will be like.
This is a personal opinion and obviously subject to scrutiny, but, I feel that 700 is possibly the worst cost to play despite having the significant majority of the 4* suits in it. I am playing on PC. The thing is that suits at 700 do so much that it feels like Gundam Evolution never shut down at all - the distinction between suit types never seems to matter because individual suits are the name of the game. Is it a Stein, a Unicorn, a Phenex, an FF Nu, a Hi-Nu, et cetera. In addition, there is now an entire Psycommu Jacking minigame at 700 every time you want to use a MS with funnels. I am very fortunate to own the Phenex and Stein so I always have something meta to play, but 700 is the only cost where I ever worry about how good my suit is. 650, occasionally, does that, and 600 now too with the advent of Atlas and MPZZ (I WENT 120 TOKENS DEEP FOR IT AND DIDN'T GET IT). Also, in other news, hoping that the Dom (Heavy) at 350 gives us more Supports that can play the game without constant supervision.
the way i see it if you are at 700 you need to be playing a native 650+ suit or be incredibly good at st the suit if its like a lvl 3 or 4 version and have overtuning parts to not be a hindrance to your team, i have a good amount of 4 stars so i do 700 a lot and it is honestly my favorite cost but i had matches just the other day where im the only native 700 suit and my team was just getting rinsed cause the enemy team were all native 700s also there is already a decent hand full of supports that dont need to be constantly protected if you play them well, i would recommend checking out White Rider and GP04 as they can do some pretty good work up close on their own if they need to
I though 2 multi ang go nothing but tickets but on my 2nd single I get the white base drop Hi-Nu but the bazooka isn't available to me sadly it looks like fun and I wish it had better paint layout but I love having this beautiful machine.
I was really looking forward to your video about the HI Nu. I'm stuck between getting either the hi Nu or nightingale. I don't have any native 700 costs, but the Jesta Type A and ZII have been working well for me so far.
The Hi-Nu will probably end up getting you more use, just from being a general. It can shoot, the melee is great, it has the beam shield that can help you move in or run away safely. The follow funnels are the interesting part, as they stay on an ally for a long time (you can bring them back by firing them while already in use), and fire every time the ally shoots. This makes the perfect targets to be suits like the Nu or Kshatriya, that are built around chaining stuns and DPS with successive shots. And the huge damage buff and movement buff from having them deployed makes it worth putting them on just anything at times (20% more damage while attack or support funnels are used, as well as +10 speed). We don't know everything about the Nightingale yet, but the size and weapons are really suggesting that it'll play like the Xeku Zwei, which requires constant movement in order to avoid being a massive target.
This update psych has effectively rendered my GM Command LA useless, since we don't get 300 cost rooms all that much, i can't sortie with it unless they come out with a level 2.
Any good color schemes people recommend? I cant decide on how to pimp Hi-nu out 😮💨 i feel like a Wing Zero custom (Ew) color would fit but the color placement is a little odd on this ms. Other than that i love how this looks and feels. Tho i feel the arm gat missing was a missed opportunity, we at least got the bazooka shot from behind at least.
Ace matches since the hi nu came out has been nothing but a disaster with his many people give 0 effort into understanding the object of the game mode. I'm not shocked your kills were taken.
In fairness, it's only been a few days since Hi-Nu dropped and both Thursdays and Fridays have "get two kills in a round" as a daily mission goal. The dailies aren't exactly compatible with the game mode's goals, which is why Target Shuffle which only runs on weekends is usually a disaster.
@@dawubber6676 We know the Banshee Norn is coming, its weapons were data mined from the PC/Steam version a little while back. The Bazooka is best on land and beam rifle for space. It’s a great MS but the best Nu Gundam is the FF Nu because of its mobile shooting. I can’t see this beating any Nu in a 1v1. Feels more like a support smeak attack MS.

Getting the cloth scarf and coat for the Shin Kamen Rider model kit is a pro gamer move for sure.
You're right about Hi-Nu's size, next to the Kshatriya in your video, it's similar height inclusive of Kshatriya's quad wing.
