    How much have you been able to mine in a day and does it out way the power cost?

    • @CryptoJar
      @CryptoJar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It looks like I am mining about 18-21HNS per day (0.02c/HNS), which is about $0.50 USD, and roughly $15/month. The power consumption is the same as the average PC, so I believe I am just breaking even. I need to dig into the numbers more for exact profits. I am planning to hold HNS that's mined through the bear market, and sell some when its above 0.10c to cover the cost of the miner.

    Can you use the 750W from Goldshell KDA miner - it has a 2nd power line with the six pins? Website said anything above 600W should be OK - wanted to get your opinion? Thanks.

      Is that the new Goldshell KD BOX Ⅱ? If so, that was just release this week, so I am not 100% sure but i believe you're right. You can confirm on their discord. Ask James, he's the main mod, and very helpful.

    How long did it take for them to ship after purchase. Still waiting after 2 weeks

    • @CryptoJar
      @CryptoJar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i think it depends on where you live. i am in Canada and it took almost 3 weeks. My previous order took 1 week. So its not consistent.

    I noticed you have used f2pool and dxpool have you found any significant difference in them? Is dx more profitable? I have a few kd boxes and I’m trying to find the best pool. Great videos man! Thank you!!

      Hey! Thanks for watching. They are both charging 3% for KDA, and no major difference between the two. For KDA, i've heard good things about Poolflare. Slight lower fees and reg payouts, so you can check them out as well.

    I would like to begin mining but I don’t know where to start. I would like to get a small unit like the you purchased but I’d like to mine a top 10 crypto. Is that something that’s worth it or available?

    • @CryptoJar
      @CryptoJar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey MiK3! Mining is fun, but not very profitable at the moment, and thats why i am looking at low cost ASIC miners. ASIC miners only mine one coin, and cannot be modified much. Mining BTC with an ASIC would be your best bet if you are trying to make money from it. You will need to spend over $2.5K for the miner, and your electric cost also plays a huge role. If you want to mine many different coins and play around settings, you might want to buy a GPU. Once installed in your PC, you can install a program like lolminer, or gminer, and mine coins like KAS or NEOX that have the potential of growing in value over the next couple of years.

      @@CryptoJarcan you do a video of a 1 year review. It would be very interesting to see the profits you made over the year!

    Hi cryptojar, can you recommend a miner with a low-budget price? I do not have any problem with electricity since I will run at my work 24/7. but the budget yes I have a problem, I've just graduated and have a work

      Hmmm... Right now the box miners from Goldshell are pretty cost effective and same with IceRiver KS0 Pro... Getting a ROI really depends on how those coins perform over time

      Is mining the only honest process of getting crypto according to you? In my opinion, it is, stacking is foolish to me.

    no sure if you mentioned the HNS halving is soon so your yield and profits will be halving .... that means ROI up to 200% good luck getting the ROI on this one, waste of money!!!!!!

    • @CryptoJar
      @CryptoJar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seriously didn't know that the freaking halving was that close!... but either way it's just sitting there quietly mining. Let's see what the price does in the next bull run
