GCLR Episode 17 - Super Freight, and a celebration

Welcome to Episode 17!
Filmed in early July during the General Election campaign, it was nice to get away from all the media reporting while filming.
We see the first trial of a 'Super Freight' the trials may last all summer to see what kind of loads can be run on the railway.
During the editing of this video, the election ballot papers have been counted and the results announced. It marks the start of a new chapter for the UK. Nervous Nancy is absolutely delighted, and the General Manager has become and MP and is summoned to 'That London' Nancy waves him off.........
We have the first sighting of Jakob Hahn, new to the GCLR, but not new to railways having worked for the DR (German Reich Railways) in former East Germany, and came over to the UK before all that Brexit stuff happened, and pops back to Germany to visit family when he can.
