The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is one of the finest miniature accomplishments in the world. This 5,500 sq. feet masterpiece located at 680 10th Street in Greeley, Colorado, this one-of-a-kind museum has hundreds of railroad scenes, more than 500 scale locomotives, 80 scale miles of train track, thousands of other handmade artifacts including around 28,000 handmade trees.

There were so many amazing bridges and focal points. The additional animations just brought it all to life, and you don’t see that very often.

When I saw it for one second I thought it was real
For I have seen the old and I have the new. I was born before the last 2 states were added to this country. My grand parents came here before the start of 1st world war. For this vid has brought back many memories for me and I know things of yester year was better of what I see today. Great vid my friends, Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC. I like model railroads that show a huge landscape with little trains running thru them. It takes a lot of space to accomplish this even with cleverly painted backdrops.
Wow the mountains and the bridges,trees are just awesome and of course the small town and fire department putting the fire out.
Such a shame they put this place in Greeley...

I went to Greeley with my adult son about 5-6 years ago. I've never seen anything like it before! You can get totally immersed in the multi-level layout that is HUGE! The modeling is top-notch and is an inspiration for the train modeler!! They have a full-size Burlington caboose and a signal when UP trains are passing through town! I highly recommend it !!

Wow, extraordinary layout and great selection of trains. I always wonder about the "dust" how in the world is that dealt with on such a huge area ??.....my little train & train station are dusty in under a week.
I watched this because I needed something calm and relaxing after watching a rabbit blow up a fucking car. gotta say, this gave me hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia and Samhainophobia

Beautiful layout with excellent detailing. But I've never seen a passenger train that long in real life as shown in the opening scene. Maybe the trains in the steam days were that long. Thanks for a great video.

It's this level of detail that makes a layout sooo enjoyable.
I frequent this museum every once in a while, it's unbelievably incredible. The detailing is spot on, and they operate it like a real railroad, they have a dispatcher and everything, they have legit traffic control on the layout too.

No doubt that is a fantastic layout. So many details, dramatism in each corner of the scenery. It´s like being there at the epoch. However, my thumbs up are not for such a great museum, that worths visit it, they are for a wonderful video, one of the best I´ve seen in the web. A beauty is a beauty, but man, the eye of the artist through which we see it is amazing!

This is an excellent layout the details are great, it almost looks like the real thing. Hard to pick which is better but I like the camping sight on the mountain side the bridges and tunnels. Well done on the set-up. I really like the town surrounding the train set-up

Love how " Big Boy " Union Pacific 4014, the project and later the tour is being honored here ! I believe Big Boy has logged more miles now than it did prior to restoration.
