My EDC is the R8, backed up by a S&W M360 J-frame, both with the Hillary hole deleted and filled. With Buffalo Bore, you get muzzle energy nearly as much as 44 magnum.
Smith and Wesson handguns are fantastic especially the revolvers and then having a performance center model it’s just another notch in the belt. I have four.
I wouldn’t want to give it back either. Super sweet gun. I had a chance to fire a few of them and they’re all top notch. Not that it’s a surprise, I mean, it is a S&W revolver. How could you go wrong?
According to Alec Baldwin it was the trr8 in the walking dead. Also a lot of people say the trr8 was made for the FBI, who care's they are awesome. You can carry one on your right hip and the other on your left hip. I'm big into 8 shot revolver's and I figure if I have not won in 8 shot's of 357, I'm probably dead anyway.
The TRR8 is something I'd love to try out as well! Something about the performance center triggers are absolutely amazing! 8 Shot revolvers are awesome, not they need to figure out a mechanical system for 12 LOL
@@MrBigKid my son live's in Arizona and open carries his 1911, since I'm in a wheelchair we figured out if I move out their how I can carry 9 8 shot revolver's and a Henry mare's leg , along with a takedown rifle in a bag on the back of my chair. Not very practical, but cool.

What became of the squib round misfire? Did the bullet get lodged in the barrel? Probably an important issue that never got addressed during the remainder of the video. Was it a reload? Factory ammo? Thanks. D.M.
I Loves muh wheeliegats! My 2 favorites are a S&W model 28-2 that was made in '72, and a model 10-5 that was made in '74. The model 10-5 is a 2" barrel snubbie, and was purchased by the original owner in '75. He shot 12 rounds through it, and it lived in his safe until he passed in 2019, when I aquired it. It's Pristine. 🥰🤤
I borrowed a S&W 642 air weight. I love 357 Mag, but that thing HURT. Luckily I’m a glutton for punishment. I didn’t want to give it back after reviewing it.
@@cherrycitygunsandammo1011 That's a Rough one to start on, if you don't have alot of trigger time on revolvers. Lightweight snubbies are Brutal in .357 magnum. They are Very easy to carry though. I've got a little Taurus 605 that I find myself carrying alot when I'm just out and about. It and a S&W model 437 airweight .38 that's +p rated...thing weighs 12 oz! It's like not having a gun almost. 👍🏻
@@SierraBravo347 I shoot revolvers quite a bit. My most often carried gun is a 3” 629 .44 Mag. Although I usually carry it with .44 Specials loaded. That thing is a handful with hot 44 mags, but surprisingly easy to handle with Specials.

IMO, a 3" barrel on a revolver is a Nice compromise...you still get good ballistics, but easier concealment. 👍🏻 I IWB carry a GP100 .357 3" comfortably, believe it or not.

Nice vid. If you like the R8 I suggest that you purchase the TRR8. It’s basically the same gun except it’s way better. It’s like the R8 was the prototype for the TRR8 and I’m not sure why they didn’t discontinue it when the new and improved TRR8 was released.
@Tacticool Mustache the TRR8 has a REMOVABLE front bottom rail instead of the integral front bottom on the R8 and the ejector shroud on the TRR8 has a full cut out window. The TRR8 also has much nicer engraving and doesn’t have the big clunky looking M&P logo. Basically, the TRR8 is an upgraded more refined performance center piece. I’m not doggin on the R8, I just feel that the TRR8 is essentially a “new and improved” iteration of the R8.
@Tacticool Mustache congratulations man. You’re going to LOVE it!!! Even though it’s fairly light especially for an N frame, it soaks up the recoil quite nicely. It’s a ton of fun and an excellent nightstand accessory.
Awesome device. I have an authentic CO2 Airsoft replica of the revolver with original markings. In Austria I am not allowed to buy or own the revolver without a firearms license. But I don't know if the revolver is even allowed here.

The only problem is that the 1913 rail on the bottom, isnt close enough to the trigger to reach the controls of a weapon light.

The question is whether it can handle full power Buffalo Bore 357 magnum rounds. Buffalo Bore says not to shoot then in a Scandium frame revolver.

The TRR8 was released first. They added the integrated light rail and put the M&P name on it and called it the M&P R8.
