    Thanks.
    I tapped the thumbs up button to feed the algorithm monsters.

    It comes from the APNAN Manual. Kyusei Nature Farmers that use EM created that recipe.

      #1 I cannot thank you enough for providing me with the correct reference for giving credit where it is due, and #2, my apologies. I do my best not to offend anyone out here with my videos (and I am not suggesting that you were, but I can see the error here could leave a bad taste in someone's mouth). I will update my description and also provide links to their site and channel out here (if they have one). Embarrassingly enough, we have a Kyusei NF Center here in Thailand (though in a different Province from where I live). Thank you again!

      @@NorthernThaiGardenGuy I will try. Seems like a good alternative to FPJ or JLF.

      @@danvankouwenberg7234 FPJ will give you the hormones and microbes. FPE is all about the nutrients. I am a fairly new vlogger so and made the mistake of not having my camera on when I first applied the Red Mulberry FPE. I did a foliar feed with it right after I strained it and I had a swam or Bees show up with 1 to 2 minutes. They invaded the tree I sprayed it with. Very cool stuff.

    Thank you for your video and you help in the forums. Do you use this FPE diluted and at what ratio please? Same process to extract Horsetail, to get the silica?

      Thanks so much for watching! As to the dilution, I would recommend the ratios discussed in the APNAN Manual from Kyusei Natural Farming (which calls for 1:1000 for soil drenches and 1:500 for foliar feeds). This is the link to the manual and is a great resource to have. www.bokashi.se/dokument/bibliotek/APNAN%2520Manual.pdf

    Can you use equal weight brown sugar to make a longer shelf life concentrate?

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For some reason with this one (unlike an FPJ) it will not stabilize with Brown Sugar. The sooner it is used the better I have found.

    What mold colours are ok? White and grey?

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's really more yeasts than molds but yes white and grayish colors will be more common.

    Thx man, we're did you get this knoledge please? Can we adapt the tech, with add of molasses or brown sugar?

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, and my apologies for the confusion I caused at the beginning of the video. This method actually comes from a Japanese Natural Farming practice called Kyusei Natural Farming. In their recipe they use EM-1 instead of LAB, so thus why I called this the " KNF way". As for storing it longer this is an input that is better used in full in a short amount of time than to try and store long term. I used it both for soil drenches and foliar feeds, but you could try to use a sugar to store it if you want (the original process doesn't describe one as these are nutrients and not microbes you are fermenting for).

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I took a look at your channel and think I understand your question now. Do you mean can you use it in the food or water for Chicken keeping? I have never heard of this input being used for that, but it will be loaded with a lot of good microbes. Are you trying to address a specific issue? There may be better formulas for your Chickens to use.

    What’s the dilution rate for weekly application?

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen various answers to this. In my experience I was trying to use it as a plant activator / pesticide, but my initial application of it that you saw me harvest was used at a 1:500 rate, and I used it as a foliar spray. Not even a minute after I did this a swarm of Bees showed up on the tree I sprayed, but I failed to get it on video.

    what are the measures to make FPE

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In an 8 to 16 ounce jar, fill your materials about 1/3 full. Add roughly 1 ounce of LAB to the rest with RO water. Give it a little breathing room at the top (not all the way full). Cover with breathable lid for 21 days and then filter your ferment. Use within 90 days.

      What LAB:Water Dilution do you use?

    • @NorthernThaiGardenGuy
      @NorthernThaiGardenGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the video I am using about a 1 ounce shot of pure LAB and the rest is RO water. The jar is roughly 8 to 10 ounces, and I only filled it to just below the opening of the mouth.
