    Danya makes you understand chess. There's a thought process behind every move, he explains that, he explains why some moves are not good, and as you see more of his videos, you start to grasp the thought process any chess player should follow. Probably one of the best teachers of chess out there

    Daniel is one of the greatest chess instructors of our time. He is absolutely brilliant. The level of explanation he goes into this video is perfectly on par with the rating he is at and that goes for all in this series.

    Danya you should do a “reverse speed run” where lower rated players play you, and they commentate their moves so we can see their faulty rationale, and then you can analyze and show where they went wrong.

    • @alexnail
      @alexnail 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@micachakraborty2630 well I was assuming it would be more of a discussion! Explaining why the beginner logic is wrong/trying to isolate common mental traps that beginners fall into. I think Daniel is already excellent at that by the way, but I think including a 1400ish player in the discussion could be really interesting.
      On the other hand this would then basically become a 1:1 lesson and I’m not sure he should necessarily give everything away like that!

    Hey Daniel, I never have the opportunity to thank you for all the free videos that you upload on daily/weekly basis, it means a lot to me. Also I wanna congratulate you for your victory against Fabi, maybe Fabi doesn't have the best tournament, but your style of playing is amazing and you deserve your victory. I come from Macedonia, where interest in chess is very low, there are a total of 9 grandmasters in the country, people here are occupied with poverty, high level of corruption, low salaries and nobody have time to teach chess, to play chess or to invest in chess, so our only touch with chess are these chess videos on TH-cam, and yours are my favorites. It would be great to have double audio with both a 1400 and Danya like he sometimes does with Firouzja in bullet matches. It would help to understand the flawed thought process of the weaker player. You could hear the 1400 say things like "I'm just gonna be solid here" while Danya says "He's playing just a bit too passive, and it's time to pounce."

Only critique: without getting into the nuances of the German "ü", if you say "ooh" (as in "ooh, ahh, look at those fireworks!") and add a hint of "ewe" (as in sheep), the pronunciation would be slightly more accurate. "Groonfeld(t)" would be just fine, with a hint of "Grewenfeld" and you could be a native speaker. ;-)
