Thanks for the explaining this procedure in detail. We used it and made a bunch of Croutons to use in the salad. Adding Salt and pepper was a great idea.
Wow! My wife is a coeliac and have made various croutons and bought regular ones for me. Well, never again. This is the best recipe ever using the air fryer OMG, I cannot stop eating them. You are a genius. 😊
While waiting for an assistant at my local supermarket to see if they had any croutons, I went on u tube to make my own, come across this guy, thanks dude! Luckily they didn't have any in stocks. Yummy!!
Excellent recipe! And so easy! Tried it last night! I put some salt, pepper, herb mix, basil, garlic, onion powder on my homemade sourdough bread. Worked like a dream. Thanks so much! Wondering if I can freeze these?
I am making clam chowder today and decided to try your crouton idea using the air fryer. Wow! These are by far the best I've ever had. I just added salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and some cheap olive oil. Not only were they delicious, but the texture was amazing! I'm so glad I found your channel. Your spirit for fun is very inspiring.
Funny story: years ago I waited tables at a fine dining restaurant, and we served a remekin full of these fancy French sugar cubes with ice tea and coffee. They were a beige color, and one day the waitstaff had a good howl (in the back of course) when some of our "less educated" guests thought they were croutons!!
Thank you! Oven can work, too. I'd say use the 400-degree setting and toss more frequently. If yours has a convection function, use it. (An air fryer is basically a super convection oven, as it blows the hot air around food for crisping.)
Glad it helped! As for time for following batches, it will likely take a minute or two (or more) less, since the air fryer is heated. I would just load it up and keep an eye on how the croutons are cooking, especially as it gets closer to the end time. Cheers!
I’m in Southern California and for the life of me couldn’t find gluten-free croutons. So, here we are, and I’m convinced these are way better than anything I could buy 😋
Nice video. Don't have an air fryer, will get one after I can go back to work, which is quite a ways into the future. I really miss cooking for others. Thinking to run a catering business in the future, rather than go back to hotel or restaurant kitchens.
My air fryer is pretty basic and only air fries, so that's what I do. The main difference between air frying and baking is convection: Air fryers have a fan that moves the hot air around the food, which helps food cook faster and brown better.
I did mine but when I put them after cool into an air tight container they got chewy again???? What do I need to do other than put them in an air fryer every time I use them? LOL
Interesting. Maybe the key is NOT an airtight container? If I have any left - and that’s a big “if,” btw, lol - I loosely cover them in a bowl and they remain crunchy.
"Some" salt and pepper...very useful 👌 Why don't chefs give actual quantities? How am I going to make your amazing croutons if you haven't actually told me the specifics? Waste of time
We say this because seasoning comes down to personal taste and needs. Season to what you like and/or any dietary restrictions. But if you’re adamant about a measure, I would start with a half teaspoon of each and go from there. Cheer!
@IWantToCook I think we'd all prefer to be advised by the professional chef, taste and decide if your reccomendation works for our palate and adjust from that base point. Being over 40 I'm a bit of a stickler for, y'know, actual quantities rather than vague instructions

Way to go! So glad you like the recipe 👍
Oh my goodness! I made these and they were so delicious and crispy. I’ll not buy store bought croutons ever again. Thank you so much!
Fantastic and way to go! I’m so happy you enjoyed them ❤️

I'm thrilled to hear that! Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed the recipe, and the channel. Cheers and happy cooking to you!
"Cheap Olive Oil" is most likely NOT pure Olive Oil.
Thank you! Out of croutons and want them in my lunch salad. Making now after watching your great video.
Glad to hear!! 👍
My goodness, they are huge!
Yep, another benefit of making your own is you get to choose the size! 😀

Ha! That gives new meaning to a sweet salad.
I just made some. Quick and easy. Thank you!
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching 🙏
Hmm…bet they would be good crumbled up on top of a casserole! Going to have to try these!
You bet they would! That’d be great as part of a gratin 😋
This is an awesome amazing recipe. I have made your recipe about 4/5 times. Thanks for sharing God bless you forever more.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying it! Thanks and many blessings to you 🙏
I like to add chicken soup mix, like powdered bouillon cubes to the croutons. They're delicious. I also sprinkle a little EVOO when they are done.
Great idea! 😀
Amazing about to make myself some
Right on! Hope they turned out well. 👍
Brilliant. I don't have an air fryer, so I'll use my oven. I'll look into the air fryer too.

Thank you so much, This is exactly what i'm looking for 🥰 just one more question how many minute do you do for the 2nd round ? Thank you

@@IWantToCook Perfect, appreciate it
Thank you! Easy to follow recipe. So happy. My first croutons are perfect!
Btw, how do i store them if i make a batch for say 2-3 days?
Yay! Glad to hear 😀 I’ve had good luck storing them in a bowl on the counter and covered with plastic wrap.
Not sure where you are but I am in East Yorkshire. My wife has been a coeliac for six years. What a find you are! 😂

@@IWantToCook thanks
Thx
GOOD JOB!
Thank you! 🙏
Oh man! I wanted croutons the other day but didn't make them because I didn't feel like heating the oven. Never even thought of using the air fryer.
Next time! This is now my go-to way for making them. Cheers!
❤❤❤🎉🎉great croutons
Yay! Glad to hear 😀
i did 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes
Love it!
Thank you! 🙏
do you air fry or bake?

Im gonna totally not eat it by itself 😅
Seriously, they are so snack-worthy!! 😀

dude thinks he's an unsung hero for being gluten free and using both hands..... Whoop whoop
this attitude is so ugly. why are u coming on this man’s video to make fun of him he’s just sharing a recipe lmfao
