I just bought an 03 Reflex with under 5K miles on it. It looks and runs like new. I am impressed at how much power it has for a 250cc, and how smooth it rides. This will be my main transport over the summer, very comfortable ride.
That light under the seat can drain your battery if it is left on by not closing the seat down all the way. I pulled the light bulb out on mine, so that wont happen a switch to turn it off could work, Or just put a LED flashlight under the seat then if something goes wrong while riding you can use the flashlight anywhere on the bike. the light under the seat is a novelty as a flash light is Much more useable
I owned one of these for several years, Loved the machine, just needed something a little more Freeway Friendly--in my opinion Honda needs to Replace the Muffler setup with something more Streamline and Sporty...
I wonder if he still has it and how many miles does it have. I'm going to buy the Vittachi Ranger which is the generic version. Same with Jonway. The jonway is another knock off. My specific knock off would be a 250cc Vittachi Spark instead of Honda Reflex.
@@reanimator6217 The main things are to keep an eye to make sure you have plenty of oil and coolant in it. Also check tire pressure weekly at least. These bike will last almost forever if you take care of them.
Because you have to hold the brake with your left hand and the starter with your right hand for it to start, so I needed both my hands, so I had to put the camera down
@@punkrctlw so, are you saying there in no neutral? I have a Honda Nighthawk and start it in neutral. I like my Nighthawk, plenty of power but looking at scooters for around town and like the automatic.
Matt, did you have to get a motorcycle license to operate the Reflex 250? Mopeds are pedal bikes with motors that only go 25 mph and dont require a motorcycle helmet or license, where this Reflex does. Its classified as a Scooter/motorcycle.
siempre regia nunca camu It's neither, it's a 250cc SCOOTER (although it's usually legally defined as a 'motorcycle', we know better, don't we?) It requires a motorcycle endorsement on your regular driver's license to operate on public roads, at least it does in the U.S. A 'moped' uses bicycle-style pedals to start the engine, thus 'mo' (motor) 'ped' (pedal)...motor-pedal =moped. A 'scooter' does NOT have bicycle-style pedals to start it's engine. The millennials have completely screwed up the terms that have defined these vehicles for six decades.
