Can I ask. If you are looking to frame an alcove to make a shoe cupboard for example, how do you ensure the front frame is square to ensure the doors hang correctly and not at an angle if the alcove sides are different depths. Hope that makes sense.

The best way to check any frame for square is to measure the diagonals, they should measure the same, hope this makes sense
