As sad as the ending was, there were at least 2 things about the episode that made me feel better. Firstly, it was great to see Blitzo and Fizz genuinely getting along with each other. At least Blitzo can say he still has one real friend. And secondly, it's a joy to have Erica back voicing Loona again after her absence.
It's a shame that Stolas didn't pick up on the undertone of what Blitz was trying to do. He understood the explanation of the crystal. "Why are you giving this to me if I'm not doing you well enough I can do better." That was the real answer. He wasn't running away, he wasn't taking the crystal and leaving. He was pursuing and for the first time ever trying to talk about it semi-calmly until Stolas cut him off and dismissed him after not being taken seriously, being talked to like that by Blitz having it echoed by him where Striker had said very similar things was shattering for him. Both of them messed up here, but it was so dang good seeing that Blitz was not willing to just give up on him even though he was not technically needed anymore.
Blitz had been gaslit by his father his whole life, never feeling adequate or truly loved. He probably thought Stolas felt the same, especially after Loona's comments earlier. He thought he failed yet another important person in his life.
Yep, if Blitz only saw this as a necessary transaction then being freed from needing to do it wouldn't have evoked such a strong negative reaction. But Stolas was so busy preparing himself for an either/or answer that the moment things weren't one way he jumped to them being the other. Also, his order of operations did him no favors. He should have explained the crystal first and why he was giving it to Blitz and THEN taken the book back. Doing a little bait and switch (possibly inspired by his love of reading books) led to Blitz being in a negative and stressful head space before he broke the good news. That and the bait and switch is, as Blitz later said, playing with his emotions.

Blitz hates himself so much that he can’t even think that someone could ever love him, especially someone has important and powerful as Stolas, but Stolas also doesn’t understand how Blitz could not be on his wavelength, Stolas can process his emotions but Blitz can’t because of how he was raised, his rage and him screaming is simply because that’s how things get resolved in Blitz’s view, he wanted Stolas to yell and fight with him so then everything would be okay in Blitz mind, but seeing Stolas cry like that was rattling to Blitz because he could never fathom someone doing that for him, he uses sex as a way to avoid complicated thoughts or to process emotions
I mean the song kind of highlights it in the fact most of Blitz's lyrics are focusing on what sex acts he'll do as a way to not spiral into negative thoughts on how he feels undeserving of Stolas' love. He literally says so in fact, with the 'Here I go getting in my head again, so I'll focus on the sexy stuff instead!' The use of 'again' is interesting because it shows he's done this before, likely fucked up a relationship beforehand and is aware of it enough to not want to go that route again, so he decides to stick with the 'safe' option, the option that so far has always worked between him and Stolas- purely sexual for the sake of a transaction. No thoughts, no connection, do the acts, give back grimoire, no complications, no scary stuff that leads to another person hating him. Stolas is more honest, his lyrics are him confronting his fears, though still hating it. He's still wanting to give it a try though and accept however it turns out, good or bad or somewhere in between. He however has a more false view of Blitz because of how little he know him. He has no idea of his past, of how his dad treat him, what happened to his mother or how Blitz got his scars. He places this 'cute' vision on Blitz and thinks of it as reality. So when Blitz lashed out at him it was a huge shock. And once again it's because of a massive lack of communication. That and Blitz's huge inferiority complex and PTSD. Also doesn't help that Blitz tends to bottle his emotions and they always explode out when he feels cornered.

Ultimately this needed to happen. Blitzo and Stolas' deal was always exploitative and unhealthy on both ends. Blitzo is a self-destructive mess who pushes everyone away and demolishes his own relationships because of his insecurities and implusively lashing out, but the harshest part is that he really isn't even completely wrong even if he's clearly not in the right either. As we saw throughout season 1, Stolas was constantly only thinking and talking about sex with him and ignoring Blitzo when he showed he was uninterested or uncomfortable with the flirting and Stolas really was coercing him into a largely transactional deal at first as seen in the first episode. Their relationship was inherently unhealthy because of the severe imbalance of power and the fact that even though on some level Blitzo does like Stolas he was being made to feel trapped and unable to have his own boundaries because losing Stolas' favor would mean the destruction of his business and livelihood. Even if it wasn't what Stolas intended to do, it's still what happened because Stolas was overcompensating hard for having gone so long starved for affection and didn't realize how complicated the situation and feelings really were for Blitzo soon enough Not to say that Blitzo hasn't hurt Stolas and been toxic himself, since he started out using Stolas for the grimoire and actively self-destructs in all his relationships to the point of hurting those close to him frequently. They both ended up hurting each other because they don't know how to have a really healthy relationship yet.
Ye, it's a mutually abusive relationship that was always bad. Stolas is ignorantly hurting Blitz because he doesnt care about his status that much but he still does shit thag can make anyone feel his power. He talks down to Blitz all the time, calling him his little Imp, calling him pet names, and kind of babying Blitz every chance. He's the one that made it about sex and if he had just talked about it more with Blitz or at least snuck in some hints that he actually cared, maybe Blitz would get it but then again, there's the wall that is Blitz...
I agree both are at fault but Stolas never outside their arrangement gave Blitz any indication of real feelings go back to the pilot (basis for the relationship) to Ozzie’s where things clearly fell off. Even in Ozzie’s he made it clear he was ashamed to be publicly seen with Blitz so what is blitz supposed to think after months of being ghosted? Yes he ghosted Stolas at the hospital but timeline wise that was so soon after Ozzie’s you can tell by the text messages.

It's important to note that BOTH of them are filled with issues and that neither of them handled this situation well. Blitz is far easier to see as being "in the wrong" because he copes by going straight to anger, while Stolas is mainly sad. But taking a step back Stolas handled this situation in an incredibly hypocritical way. He starts okay, demanding the book off the bat might have been a bit blunt and he could have been more gentle, but he handled it well enough and got his point across. Blitz disassociated and assumed it was RP, and Stolas just said "Fuck it, I have my answer" The problem is his behaviour after, when he thinks he has his answer after seeing Blitzs reaction he just leaves, and says "we're done". Blitz after processing that it isn't a joke and Stolas was full on serious, tries to talk to him about it. But Stolas just straight out dismisses him and what he has to say. Blitz outright says "I need a minute to think about this" which is reasonable but Stolas just keeps repeating that he already has his answer. Blitz reasonably gets mad at this, for as much as Stolas claims he wants Blitzs opinion he just says his side of the story, makes his own mind up and does not let Blitz have a serious conversation about the subject. Blitz is right when he says " You don't just get to dismiss me like one of your butlers". He outright tells Stolas, in anger but valid anger, that he can't just make that decision for him and that he won't let Stolas just decide and run. Which is exactly what he tries to do, and despite Blitz hurting his feelings in his anger doesn't mean he's wrong about demanding to say his part. And Stolas just kicks him out, at no point is Blitz allowed to say his part about the breakup. The transactional part is resolved right at the start. But not the emotional one, Stolas went off about all his feelings but then decided for himself Blitzs feelings never actually letting him say what he wants. At no point does Blitz say "I don't want to see you anymore" Stolas just decided that were his feelings and ignored every plea Blitz made for them to have a serious talk about their relationship.
You nailed it. To add they made a point to show Stolas had run out of his medication. Which leads me to think he kept being dismissive due to depression and it being too painful to handle.
You didn't account for Stolas's feelings. Yes he has more control of his emotions but he's obviously been in pain being in a sex trade with his true love. While at the beginning he always talks about sex, Blitz tells us it's been a few months that Stolas begged for attention, and on the past episodes we can see Stolas trying to remove the exploitative trade they have by inviting him to just talk, cuddle, or see him whenever Blitz wants. He doesn't force Blitz anymore. The fact that Stolas has been genuine for a long time, for months he consistently expresses his genuine love for Blitz- that he's not in it for the sex anymore, that he got the Asmodeus crystal for him etc. shows that this has been a one-sided relationship. When he finally got Blitz's full attention, he tells Blitz what his vulnerable heart has been wanting to say. And you know how Blitz responded, so for months of that kind of treatment (Blitz being nonchalant/avoidant of Stolas's genuine heartfelt words) obviously Stolas couldn't take it anymore, he did everything only to have a joking response. It's like "ah nothing would really change even though I did everything for him. He would never try to understand me huh. This is the final chance I gave him and myself to see if there'd be something. I'm done. I did my part. This is not healthy for both of us." That's why he left. That's all he needed to see. Blitz's outburst is understandable but you have to acknowledge that for months Stolas tried to make Blitz see his feelings but Blitz is oblivious to it. He even said "you sprung this feelings bullshit to me" or sumn, when he's the one that is oblivious/avoids Stolas's expressions FOR MONTHS. I know Blitz has issues that's why he doesn't acknowledge any form of care but that's on him. Stolas is not his therapist. Stolas is just a lover boy. It's not on Stolas if Blitz is knee-deep on his negative mentality. This episode is Stolas successfully bringing Blitz in the reality-stolas not the sexmaniac illusion Blitz keeps perceiving him as. Stolas is aware of Blitz's issues that's why he can't become a martyr for a guy like him forever. It's bad for his mental health, it's bad for his heart, he doesn't want to be a monster, and he can't take being seen as a "only here for sex" from the guy he's inlove with.

Literally none. He can decide to continue it or drop it at any moment. They started this relationship purely transactional, they have a masive economic and social difference. You know why they put down aggressive dogs in shelters? BECAUSE NOONE IS READY TO COMMIT TO THEM. They are unbelievably difficult to work with. I have one and he almost ripped a chuck of my face off. Is it his fault? NO, its his effed up owners before me that beat him as a puppy. Blitz is the same. He hates himself, he pushes away love because hes scared of getting hurt again. Hes offering of love from Stolas can even be seen as a threat. The clear boundaries of their situationship made him feel safe and then Stolas rip it away from him. He didnt even heard what the crystal does, because he was too worried of not being good enough. He heard "I figured out a way to get rid of you, finally. But since im a royal big shot I should be polite about it, so you can stay if you want." They both have issues. But Blitz farr outweights Stolas's. They need a third party to help them, cause they are blind to their own and the others issues.
@@G.D.G. Blitz is not a dog. He clearly has an idea of what a healthy relationship is like by having the M&M's examples and he managed to protect their "soft love" by backing them up at Ozzie's. Again, Stolas is NOT HIS THERAPIST. He has no responsibilities for Blitz's issues in the first place because Blitz doesn't tell him sht anyways. Stolas has taken steps for Blitz to realize he's not in it for the sex anymore and at the end Blitz still doesn't understand. I know Blitz has a lot of trauma and needs time to manage everything, straighten the knots in his head, but Stolas will be the one in the depths of depression waiting for Blitz to unpack everything when HE also has issues that he's carrying. He's also going through depression and clearly yearning for Blitz only ends up in tears and pain with how lonely he feels despite being in a "relationship" with Blitz (like the Ozzie episode eating cereal alone, or scrolling in his photos of Blitz, etc) You don't need to invalidate Stolas's way of coping and fixing things for himself saying "he should've done this, should've done that" when Blitz doesn't even think of doing the same in the first place, Blitz knows M&M's relationship is like he just can't apply it on himself because he's avoidant on fixing his internal chaos. They're on different pages, it doesn't matter how long Stolas waits- nothing would change because BLITZ DON'T WANT TO CHANGE. Stolas already explained and kneeled in front of him saying he cares deeply, that it's not because Blitz is not good enough. He already told him his heartfelt thoughts, what he feels and thinks of Blitz, he has the mindset "it ends here or hopefully it doesn't." Of course he would have that mindset after months of trying to make Blitz see him. He didn't give Blitz the crystal to destroy Blitz. He gave it because he thinks that's what would fix Blitz. That would stop Blitz that Stolas is taking advantage of him. That's it.
I think it’s important to note Blitzø was genuinely excited to visit Stolas from the moment he realized it was Full Moon night. He had juuuuuust reached the point where he was happy with the relationship they had and was starting to understand that he enjoys being around him.
In Blitz's defense for the royalty bias thing, he wasn't just sold by his dad for pocket change, Stolas' dad BOUGHT him for pocket change. It was a royal who saw him as something so insignificant that he could just buy a child on a whim. And besides the royalty bias, Blitz also is so filled with self-loathing that he literally just can't comprehend the idea that someone else could ever ACTUALLY love him, let alone someone like Stolas. Stolas is in the wrong here too, he doesn't fundementally understand Blitz, and was ready to immediately jump to conclusions the second he didn't get the exact answer he was looking for. He assumed that Blitz not believing Stolas could have those feelings for him wasn't because he thinks Stolas is incapable of having those feelings at all, but because he didn't think Stolas could have those feelings for Blitz specifically, because Blitz thinks he isn't worthy of love. Stolas immediately jumped to Blitz thinking lowly of him, but never considered it was actually Blitz thinking lowly of himself. As per usual, both just aren't communicating properly, and neither truly knows the other well enough. Stolas knows nothing of how broken Blitz actually is, and Blitz knows nothing of how Stolas actually sees him (or why Stolas sees him the way he does).

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they miss the deadline for that one, though... (even if it is in post-production). They seem to focus more on quality than meeting deadlines, which since they're still coming out in a decently timely manner, I definitely cannot complain, but Full Moon was released on the last day in May to BARELY make their promise.
So I agree Blitz did fuck up, but so did Stolas. Blitz said what he needed "Can I have a minute to think?" Stolas did spring this on him fairly quickly, then dismissively walked away. Which yeah he thinks he got his answer, but Blitz is damaged and goes thru phases of dissociation to diffuse emotional problems. Blitz first makes jokes, then aggressively yells. Something that I can so see he picked up from his childhood. It's after these 2 phases he starts opening up. He did it with Mox, he did it with Fizz. Difference is both Mox and Fizz stayed around thru the phases. If Stolas didn't push him away they could have had a break thru. Stolas running out of his anti-depression pills probably affected this a bit. Both needed to vent their feelings and work thru them instead of stating something then expecting a quick answer. Viv even tweeted both boys are at fault.
Though I will definitely add though, that was the first time we've seen on screen someone responding terribly to Blitz opening up. Stolas was the only one that didn't take Blitz harsh words well because he knew he was unlike any other royal.
@tigerstone8385 ehhhh you can argue when he tried to open up to Barbie she shit him down badly, even though it wasn't a lot of opening up he still tried to start. Stolas may also have only heard harsh words from Stella. Being royalty I doubt many would yell back at him. The same passion he loved in Blitz turned bad. Overall both our damaged boys probably had outside experiences affecting their reaction.

This was such a heartbreaking ending. But, ultimately a necessary one. As things stood, this relationship was going to self destruct. If Stolas and Blitz are to be together, they both need to change. Blitz especially needs SO much therapy.
I love Nate's reaction cause I feel like the way this episode ended, Stolic screwed up as I see Blitz's reaction to him completely justified as his feelings were very different initially. I feel like for Stolic to expect Blitz to recognize his feelings as being genuine is asking too much given there history, at least at first. Hopefully they end up in a better place by the end of the season
“your first instinct is always about sex”. Huh, “looks back at their conversation in episode 1”. Gee Stolas, I can’t imagine why Blitz would reach that conclusion. Like, Blitz was way out of line near the end of that, but at the same time, Stolas not only sprung this on him, but the second Blitz thought it was a joke, Stolas immediately dismissed him without letting Blitz even process what was happening.
While Stolas was a little jjumpy there, I agree, I can't say it was wrong for Stolas to dismiss him. Ultimately it proved to Stolas that their relationship was *NOT* where Stolas hoped/thought that it was. So although he did kinda spring it on him a bit, they needed to be apart and process first. Staying there and arguing it out wasn't likely to go well. After some time they'll talk and ACTUALLY settle things. Their relationship isn't -over- yet it has the opportunity to change IMO.
Something that I think is easy to forget because it's so easy to sympathize with Stolas was how convincingly he played the part of rich elitist pervert which was a part of his personality that is real, just not the sum of it. Stolas was the one who set the terms of this arrangement and more crucially, the one who chose to end it, both times with no input from Blitz. Blitz didn't have a choice in agreeing to the arrangement if he wanted to keep doing his job and stolas never even bothered asking him how he feels about the arrangement before deciding to break it off based on his guilt. Breaking it off is the right thing to do, but that doesn't change the fact that Stolas didn't ask blitz what he wants, ever. The entire time he made decisions and assumptions in his name. Even when he was trying to do the exact opposite. I'm not trying to make stolas out to be the bad guy, this is yet another unfortunate consequence of his sheltered upbringing.

Neither are wrong in what they feel, but how they handled it was not okay. Stolas sprang something big on someone with commitment and abandonment issues and gave him literally no time to think on it. And Blitz, he took it too much as a joke then lashed out when he realized it wasn't. They both could have handled it so much better
30:26 Blitz wanted to talk about this and not end this so was hoping to get into Stolas into an argument to so discuss the problem but that backfired on him horribly. Reason was yelling is because he’s used to anger not everything Stolas is giving which is throwing him off his rocker or comfort zone.
my view on blitz is this. Time. it's a slow process but maybe with enough of it he'll change, after all in the trailer for season 2 he did say he didn't want to be this eway forever. I say we just wait it out.
You can see some beginnings of this with Blitz's patching up with Fizz and his failed attempt to reconcile with his sister. It's early days but I can see him probably learning from this and trying again. For sure though in the immediate aftermath he WILL spiral again, probably have another Queen Bee moment where he goes on a pity bender or crashes a party and drinks/ snorts his emotions away (waking up regretting it in the morning) or another moment of him in a massive post-break up depressive funk on his sofa at home eating a mountain of ice cream and chugging a 6 pack of beer. But I do think, given he was willing to at least try and repair the damage with his sister-even though it failed- it shows he knows he can't keep going like this, it's not healthy, and he WANTS to fix things and apologise. Baby steps. He and Stolas just need to learn to FUCKING COMMUNICATE lol
I will state, for the record, no party is in the right here. Stolas should've realized that giving Blitzø the crystal the way he did was pretty scummy, and Blitzø clearly shouldn't have dismissed Stolas' feelings the way he did.
Also, Stolas's actions in this episode can be seen as hypocritical Stolas says, "the fact that you couldn't believe that I might have these feelings about you, that your first instinct is that it's always... about sex," when the entirety of Season 1 and parts of Season 2, he's the one who is making this all about sex to begin with, so Blitzo getting the wrong idea is expected
See, here's the thing. Blitz has the right to feel confused. They're both in the wrong. It's however how he reacts that puts the nail in the coffin. By lashing out or fleeing (with Verosika) he ruins it. You can not expect someone to let things go on when you've just been mocked, yelled at and insulted like that.

Think about it, all he really wanted was the Book so he could go to Earth to do his job. He has a OZMODIAN CRYSTAL NOW, HE WON! He has everything he could possible want..... Except love.
Here’s the thing… people are always hung up on the “Blitzø’s dad sold him for five bucks and a condom”… but that was a play. Cash gave Blitzø to them for so little solely because he was sending him to steal from them. Sure, Cash is still a piece of shit, but at least he wasn’t giving his son away for practically nothing.
I never thought Blitz was "Mr. Bone and go." his issue is more, after the events of the circus and Fizz, the fire and losing his mom. Since he seemed to have feelings for fizz romantically. But, then was pushed away by the mysterious "them" talked about during their kidnapping. Blitz adopted a relationship outlook of "I'll just hurt them and make them hate me so they leave, because I hate myself and don't deserve them." he'd rather destroy the connection himself, prove himself right that no one loves him, and he is going to be alone forever. But, deep down he does truly care about Stolas. Thinking back to him mentioning Stolas as someone he wanted around on his deathbed in 1x8 after Bee's party.

The thing is, both Blitz's and Stolas's perspective is valid, which makes it really hard to pick one side I think Blitz and Stolas made mistakes in this "relationship," and that's not just me saying that, since Vivziepop herself said that on Twitter
It's a major coping mechanism for blitz, those with trauma tend to want to hide it behind humor . With blitz misinterpreting stalas forwardness I think it was more of a conglomeration , a conglomeration of being lower class and traveling to the other rings due to being in the circus He probably was exposed to way to many shady deals that fell through.
Before stolas took him out of the house blitz was about to apologize. With blitz past and personality him reacting with first confusion then anger. He finds it hard to believe anyone would love him and before having anytime to think and truly understand the situation hes forced into a decision without any time to process. Hopefully blitz gets over his self destructive behaviour so he and stolas can start again to try to build a relationship.
So, the next episode I believe is titled "Apology Tour" which tells me it's about Blitz making amends with everyone, Stolas making amends with his family or both.

As sad as the ending was, there were at least 2 things about the episode that made me feel better.
Firstly, it was great to see Blitzo and Fizz genuinely getting along with each other. At least Blitzo can say he still has one real friend.
And secondly, it's a joy to have Erica back voicing Loona again after her absence.
It's a shame that Stolas didn't pick up on the undertone of what Blitz was trying to do. He understood the explanation of the crystal. "Why are you giving this to me if I'm not doing you well enough I can do better." That was the real answer. He wasn't running away, he wasn't taking the crystal and leaving. He was pursuing and for the first time ever trying to talk about it semi-calmly until Stolas cut him off and dismissed him after not being taken seriously, being talked to like that by Blitz having it echoed by him where Striker had said very similar things was shattering for him. Both of them messed up here, but it was so dang good seeing that Blitz was not willing to just give up on him even though he was not technically needed anymore.
Blitz had been gaslit by his father his whole life, never feeling adequate or truly loved. He probably thought Stolas felt the same, especially after Loona's comments earlier. He thought he failed yet another important person in his life.
Yep, if Blitz only saw this as a necessary transaction then being freed from needing to do it wouldn't have evoked such a strong negative reaction.
But Stolas was so busy preparing himself for an either/or answer that the moment things weren't one way he jumped to them being the other.
Also, his order of operations did him no favors.
He should have explained the crystal first and why he was giving it to Blitz and THEN taken the book back.
Doing a little bait and switch (possibly inspired by his love of reading books) led to Blitz being in a negative and stressful head space before he broke the good news.
That and the bait and switch is, as Blitz later said, playing with his emotions.

Blitz hates himself so much that he can’t even think that someone could ever love him, especially someone has important and powerful as Stolas, but Stolas also doesn’t understand how Blitz could not be on his wavelength, Stolas can process his emotions but Blitz can’t because of how he was raised, his rage and him screaming is simply because that’s how things get resolved in Blitz’s view, he wanted Stolas to yell and fight with him so then everything would be okay in Blitz mind, but seeing Stolas cry like that was rattling to Blitz because he could never fathom someone doing that for him, he uses sex as a way to avoid complicated thoughts or to process emotions
I mean the song kind of highlights it in the fact most of Blitz's lyrics are focusing on what sex acts he'll do as a way to not spiral into negative thoughts on how he feels undeserving of Stolas' love. He literally says so in fact, with the 'Here I go getting in my head again, so I'll focus on the sexy stuff instead!' The use of 'again' is interesting because it shows he's done this before, likely fucked up a relationship beforehand and is aware of it enough to not want to go that route again, so he decides to stick with the 'safe' option, the option that so far has always worked between him and Stolas- purely sexual for the sake of a transaction. No thoughts, no connection, do the acts, give back grimoire, no complications, no scary stuff that leads to another person hating him.
Stolas is more honest, his lyrics are him confronting his fears, though still hating it. He's still wanting to give it a try though and accept however it turns out, good or bad or somewhere in between. He however has a more false view of Blitz because of how little he know him. He has no idea of his past, of how his dad treat him, what happened to his mother or how Blitz got his scars. He places this 'cute' vision on Blitz and thinks of it as reality. So when Blitz lashed out at him it was a huge shock. And once again it's because of a massive lack of communication. That and Blitz's huge inferiority complex and PTSD. Also doesn't help that Blitz tends to bottle his emotions and they always explode out when he feels cornered.

Blitzo and Stolas' deal was always exploitative and unhealthy on both ends.
Blitzo is a self-destructive mess who pushes everyone away and demolishes his own relationships because of his insecurities and implusively lashing out, but the harshest part is that he really isn't even completely wrong even if he's clearly not in the right either.
As we saw throughout season 1, Stolas was constantly only thinking and talking about sex with him and ignoring Blitzo when he showed he was uninterested or uncomfortable with the flirting and Stolas really was coercing him into a largely transactional deal at first as seen in the first episode.
Their relationship was inherently unhealthy because of the severe imbalance of power and the fact that even though on some level Blitzo does like Stolas he was being made to feel trapped and unable to have his own boundaries because losing Stolas' favor would mean the destruction of his business and livelihood. Even if it wasn't what Stolas intended to do, it's still what happened because Stolas was overcompensating hard for having gone so long starved for affection and didn't realize how complicated the situation and feelings really were for Blitzo soon enough
Not to say that Blitzo hasn't hurt Stolas and been toxic himself, since he started out using Stolas for the grimoire and actively self-destructs in all his relationships to the point of hurting those close to him frequently.
They both ended up hurting each other because they don't know how to have a really healthy relationship yet.
Ye, it's a mutually abusive relationship that was always bad. Stolas is ignorantly hurting Blitz because he doesnt care about his status that much but he still does shit thag can make anyone feel his power. He talks down to Blitz all the time, calling him his little Imp, calling him pet names, and kind of babying Blitz every chance. He's the one that made it about sex and if he had just talked about it more with Blitz or at least snuck in some hints that he actually cared, maybe Blitz would get it but then again, there's the wall that is Blitz...

I agree both are at fault but Stolas never outside their arrangement gave Blitz any indication of real feelings go back to the pilot (basis for the relationship) to Ozzie’s where things clearly fell off. Even in Ozzie’s he made it clear he was ashamed to be publicly seen with Blitz so what is blitz supposed to think after months of being ghosted? Yes he ghosted Stolas at the hospital but timeline wise that was so soon after Ozzie’s you can tell by the text messages.

It's important to note that BOTH of them are filled with issues and that neither of them handled this situation well.
Blitz is far easier to see as being "in the wrong" because he copes by going straight to anger, while Stolas is mainly sad.
But taking a step back Stolas handled this situation in an incredibly hypocritical way.
He starts okay, demanding the book off the bat might have been a bit blunt and he could have been more gentle, but he handled it well enough and got his point across.
Blitz disassociated and assumed it was RP, and Stolas just said "Fuck it, I have my answer"
The problem is his behaviour after, when he thinks he has his answer after seeing Blitzs reaction he just leaves, and says "we're done".
Blitz after processing that it isn't a joke and Stolas was full on serious, tries to talk to him about it.
But Stolas just straight out dismisses him and what he has to say.
Blitz outright says "I need a minute to think about this" which is reasonable but Stolas just keeps repeating that he already has his answer.
Blitz reasonably gets mad at this, for as much as Stolas claims he wants Blitzs opinion he just says his side of the story, makes his own mind up and does not let Blitz have a serious conversation about the subject.
Blitz is right when he says " You don't just get to dismiss me like one of your butlers".
He outright tells Stolas, in anger but valid anger, that he can't just make that decision for him and that he won't let Stolas just decide and run.
Which is exactly what he tries to do, and despite Blitz hurting his feelings in his anger doesn't mean he's wrong about demanding to say his part.
And Stolas just kicks him out, at no point is Blitz allowed to say his part about the breakup.
The transactional part is resolved right at the start. But not the emotional one, Stolas went off about all his feelings but then decided for himself Blitzs feelings never actually letting him say what he wants.
At no point does Blitz say "I don't want to see you anymore" Stolas just decided that were his feelings and ignored every plea Blitz made for them to have a serious talk about their relationship.
You nailed it. To add they made a point to show Stolas had run out of his medication. Which leads me to think he kept being dismissive due to depression and it being too painful to handle.
You didn't account for Stolas's feelings. Yes he has more control of his emotions but he's obviously been in pain being in a sex trade with his true love. While at the beginning he always talks about sex, Blitz tells us it's been a few months that Stolas begged for attention, and on the past episodes we can see Stolas trying to remove the exploitative trade they have by inviting him to just talk, cuddle, or see him whenever Blitz wants. He doesn't force Blitz anymore.
The fact that Stolas has been genuine for a long time, for months he consistently expresses his genuine love for Blitz- that he's not in it for the sex anymore, that he got the Asmodeus crystal for him etc. shows that this has been a one-sided relationship.
When he finally got Blitz's full attention, he tells Blitz what his vulnerable heart has been wanting to say. And you know how Blitz responded, so for months of that kind of treatment (Blitz being nonchalant/avoidant of Stolas's genuine heartfelt words) obviously Stolas couldn't take it anymore, he did everything only to have a joking response. It's like "ah nothing would really change even though I did everything for him. He would never try to understand me huh. This is the final chance I gave him and myself to see if there'd be something. I'm done. I did my part. This is not healthy for both of us."
That's why he left. That's all he needed to see. Blitz's outburst is understandable but you have to acknowledge that for months Stolas tried to make Blitz see his feelings but Blitz is oblivious to it. He even said "you sprung this feelings bullshit to me" or sumn, when he's the one that is oblivious/avoids Stolas's expressions FOR MONTHS.
I know Blitz has issues that's why he doesn't acknowledge any form of care but that's on him. Stolas is not his therapist. Stolas is just a lover boy. It's not on Stolas if Blitz is knee-deep on his negative mentality. This episode is Stolas successfully bringing Blitz in the reality-stolas not the sexmaniac illusion Blitz keeps perceiving him as. Stolas is aware of Blitz's issues that's why he can't become a martyr for a guy like him forever. It's bad for his mental health, it's bad for his heart, he doesn't want to be a monster, and he can't take being seen as a "only here for sex" from the guy he's inlove with.

Stolas not even slightly understands both the trauma and agency Blitz has. It doesnt matter how innocent his goals are, if your partner was systematically effed over since birth dont think youre some kind of god that can wish away his pain and make him see the light. Trauma takes effort, time and careful tactics to MAYBE fix. Both parties have to be willing to put a LOT of work to fix it.
Their dynamic is basically a person adopting a beaten dog. You know why they put down aggressive dogs in shelters? BECAUSE NOONE IS READY TO COMMIT TO THEM. They are unbelievably difficult to work with. I have one and he almost ripped a chuck of my face off. Is it his fault? NO, its his effed up owners before me that beat him as a puppy. Blitz is the same. He hates himself, he pushes away love because hes scared of getting hurt again. Hes offering of love from Stolas can even be seen as a threat. The clear boundaries of their situationship made him feel safe and then Stolas rip it away from him. He didnt even heard what the crystal does, because he was too worried of not being good enough. He heard "I figured out a way to get rid of you, finally. But since im a royal big shot I should be polite about it, so you can stay if you want."
They both have issues. But Blitz farr outweights Stolas's.
They need a third party to help them, cause they are blind to their own and the others issues.

Again, Stolas is NOT HIS THERAPIST. He has no responsibilities for Blitz's issues in the first place because Blitz doesn't tell him sht anyways. Stolas has taken steps for Blitz to realize he's not in it for the sex anymore and at the end Blitz still doesn't understand. I know Blitz has a lot of trauma and needs time to manage everything, straighten the knots in his head, but Stolas will be the one in the depths of depression waiting for Blitz to unpack everything when HE also has issues that he's carrying. He's also going through depression and clearly yearning for Blitz only ends up in tears and pain with how lonely he feels despite being in a "relationship" with Blitz (like the Ozzie episode eating cereal alone, or scrolling in his photos of Blitz, etc) You don't need to invalidate Stolas's way of coping and fixing things for himself saying "he should've done this, should've done that" when Blitz doesn't even think of doing the same in the first place, Blitz knows M&M's relationship is like he just can't apply it on himself because he's avoidant on fixing his internal chaos. They're on different pages, it doesn't matter how long Stolas waits- nothing would change because BLITZ DON'T WANT TO CHANGE. Stolas already explained and kneeled in front of him saying he cares deeply, that it's not because Blitz is not good enough. He already told him his heartfelt thoughts, what he feels and thinks of Blitz, he has the mindset "it ends here or hopefully it doesn't." Of course he would have that mindset after months of trying to make Blitz see him.
He didn't give Blitz the crystal to destroy Blitz. He gave it because he thinks that's what would fix Blitz. That would stop Blitz that Stolas is taking advantage of him. That's it.
I think it’s important to note Blitzø was genuinely excited to visit Stolas from the moment he realized it was Full Moon night. He had juuuuuust reached the point where he was happy with the relationship they had and was starting to understand that he enjoys being around him.
In Blitz's defense for the royalty bias thing, he wasn't just sold by his dad for pocket change, Stolas' dad BOUGHT him for pocket change. It was a royal who saw him as something so insignificant that he could just buy a child on a whim.
And besides the royalty bias, Blitz also is so filled with self-loathing that he literally just can't comprehend the idea that someone else could ever ACTUALLY love him, let alone someone like Stolas. Stolas is in the wrong here too, he doesn't fundementally understand Blitz, and was ready to immediately jump to conclusions the second he didn't get the exact answer he was looking for.
He assumed that Blitz not believing Stolas could have those feelings for him wasn't because he thinks Stolas is incapable of having those feelings at all, but because he didn't think Stolas could have those feelings for Blitz specifically, because Blitz thinks he isn't worthy of love. Stolas immediately jumped to Blitz thinking lowly of him, but never considered it was actually Blitz thinking lowly of himself.
As per usual, both just aren't communicating properly, and neither truly knows the other well enough. Stolas knows nothing of how broken Blitz actually is, and Blitz knows nothing of how Stolas actually sees him (or why Stolas sees him the way he does).

So I agree Blitz did fuck up, but so did Stolas. Blitz said what he needed "Can I have a minute to think?" Stolas did spring this on him fairly quickly, then dismissively walked away. Which yeah he thinks he got his answer, but Blitz is damaged and goes thru phases of dissociation to diffuse emotional problems. Blitz first makes jokes, then aggressively yells. Something that I can so see he picked up from his childhood. It's after these 2 phases he starts opening up. He did it with Mox, he did it with Fizz. Difference is both Mox and Fizz stayed around thru the phases. If Stolas didn't push him away they could have had a break thru. Stolas running out of his anti-depression pills probably affected this a bit. Both needed to vent their feelings and work thru them instead of stating something then expecting a quick answer. Viv even tweeted both boys are at fault.
Though I will definitely add though, that was the first time we've seen on screen someone responding terribly to Blitz opening up. Stolas was the only one that didn't take Blitz harsh words well because he knew he was unlike any other royal.

Stolas may also have only heard harsh words from Stella. Being royalty I doubt many would yell back at him. The same passion he loved in Blitz turned bad. Overall both our damaged boys probably had outside experiences affecting their reaction.

This was such a heartbreaking ending. But, ultimately a necessary one. As things stood, this relationship was going to self destruct. If Stolas and Blitz are to be together, they both need to change. Blitz especially needs SO much therapy.

I love Nate's reaction cause I feel like the way this episode ended, Stolic screwed up as I see Blitz's reaction to him completely justified as his feelings were very different initially. I feel like for Stolic to expect Blitz to recognize his feelings as being genuine is asking too much given there history, at least at first. Hopefully they end up in a better place by the end of the season

Like, Blitz was way out of line near the end of that, but at the same time, Stolas not only sprung this on him, but the second Blitz thought it was a joke, Stolas immediately dismissed him without letting Blitz even process what was happening.
While Stolas was a little jjumpy there, I agree, I can't say it was wrong for Stolas to dismiss him.
Ultimately it proved to Stolas that their relationship was *NOT* where Stolas hoped/thought that it was.
So although he did kinda spring it on him a bit, they needed to be apart and process first.
Staying there and arguing it out wasn't likely to go well.
After some time they'll talk and ACTUALLY settle things. Their relationship isn't -over- yet it has the opportunity to change IMO.
Something that I think is easy to forget because it's so easy to sympathize with Stolas was how convincingly he played the part of rich elitist pervert which was a part of his personality that is real, just not the sum of it. Stolas was the one who set the terms of this arrangement and more crucially, the one who chose to end it, both times with no input from Blitz. Blitz didn't have a choice in agreeing to the arrangement if he wanted to keep doing his job and stolas never even bothered asking him how he feels about the arrangement before deciding to break it off based on his guilt. Breaking it off is the right thing to do, but that doesn't change the fact that Stolas didn't ask blitz what he wants, ever. The entire time he made decisions and assumptions in his name. Even when he was trying to do the exact opposite. I'm not trying to make stolas out to be the bad guy, this is yet another unfortunate consequence of his sheltered upbringing.

They both could've handled this whole thing so much better. Neither are wrong in what they feel, but how they handled it was not okay. Stolas sprang something big on someone with commitment and abandonment issues and gave him literally no time to think on it. And Blitz, he took it too much as a joke then lashed out when he realized it wasn't. They both could have handled it so much better

my view on blitz is this. Time. it's a slow process but maybe with enough of it he'll change, after all in the trailer for season 2 he did say he didn't want to be this eway forever. I say we just wait it out.
You can see some beginnings of this with Blitz's patching up with Fizz and his failed attempt to reconcile with his sister. It's early days but I can see him probably learning from this and trying again. For sure though in the immediate aftermath he WILL spiral again, probably have another Queen Bee moment where he goes on a pity bender or crashes a party and drinks/ snorts his emotions away (waking up regretting it in the morning) or another moment of him in a massive post-break up depressive funk on his sofa at home eating a mountain of ice cream and chugging a 6 pack of beer. But I do think, given he was willing to at least try and repair the damage with his sister-even though it failed- it shows he knows he can't keep going like this, it's not healthy, and he WANTS to fix things and apologise. Baby steps. He and Stolas just need to learn to FUCKING COMMUNICATE lol
I will state, for the record, no party is in the right here. Stolas should've realized that giving Blitzø the crystal the way he did was pretty scummy, and Blitzø clearly shouldn't have dismissed Stolas' feelings the way he did.
Also, Stolas's actions in this episode can be seen as hypocritical
Stolas says, "the fact that you couldn't believe that I might have these feelings about you, that your first instinct is that it's always... about sex," when the entirety of Season 1 and parts of Season 2, he's the one who is making this all about sex to begin with, so Blitzo getting the wrong idea is expected
See, here's the thing. Blitz has the right to feel confused. They're both in the wrong. It's however how he reacts that puts the nail in the coffin. By lashing out or fleeing (with Verosika) he ruins it. You can not expect someone to let things go on when you've just been mocked, yelled at and insulted like that.

Yeah watching Blitz and Stolas FAIL at their relationship is the most painful thing ever. Hell I was screaming at Blitz for failing to hear a WORD Stolas said to him. I never thought Blitz was "Mr. Bone and go." his issue is more, after the events of the circus and Fizz, the fire and losing his mom. Since he seemed to have feelings for fizz romantically. But, then was pushed away by the mysterious "them" talked about during their kidnapping. Blitz adopted a relationship outlook of "I'll just hurt them and make them hate me so they leave, because I hate myself and don't deserve them." he'd rather destroy the connection himself, prove himself right that no one loves him, and he is going to be alone forever.
But, deep down he does truly care about Stolas. Thinking back to him mentioning Stolas as someone he wanted around on his deathbed in 1x8 after Bee's party.
I predicted this was going to happen concerning Blitz0 and Stolas given both their psych profiles. I wonder what the DHORKS are going to do with their clone army.
The thing is, both Blitz's and Stolas's perspective is valid, which makes it really hard to pick one side
I think Blitz and Stolas made mistakes in this "relationship," and that's not just me saying that, since Vivziepop herself said that on Twitter
It's a major coping mechanism for blitz, those with trauma tend to want to hide it behind humor .
With blitz misinterpreting stalas forwardness I think it was more of a conglomeration , a conglomeration of being lower class and traveling to the other rings due to being in the circus

Before stolas took him out of the house blitz was about to apologize. With blitz past and personality him reacting with first confusion then anger. He finds it hard to believe anyone would love him and before having anytime to think and truly understand the situation hes forced into a decision without any time to process. Hopefully blitz gets over his self destructive behaviour so he and stolas can start again to try to build a relationship.
Only been here the past year, but the 14th is my birthday, so congrats to us (I’m not 10 tho lol, I’m…too old😂)
So, the next episode I believe is titled "Apology Tour" which tells me it's about Blitz making amends with everyone, Stolas making amends with his family or both.
