A lot of people say that bad communication ruins relationships, but more often than not, it's *comprehension.* Due to Blitzo's past with destroying his own relationships and his inferiority complex, his brain simply did not understand what Stolas was attempting to communicate to him. The words did not line up with the intention.
This is not the first time this has happened.
When he an Fizz were tied up together, Blitzo went through an entire list of the ways that Stolas has been attempting to get to know him on a personal level, and Fizz, who does not know their relationship from a hole in the ground immediately understood that Stolas wasn't playing coy and that it was Blitzo who couldn't comprehend the feelings being conveyed.
Right. I've seen so many people being critical of Stolas for not being more patient or reiterating that things were serious, when the real issue was that Blitz is refusing to listen.
@@Gaymerluv Blitz refusing to listen is kinda a natural reaction when spending years in a transactional relationship. It's like at work where your boss calls the employees a family but obviously doesn't really mean it. Imagine spending years at a job where that's the case, then your boss starts suddenly talking seriously about you all being a family. You'd obviously roll your eyes and just think they're doing the whole cheesy crap.
@@TheStormyClouds The only thing different here was that blitz-stolas never truly HAD a boss-employee relationship. That's why their relationship is unhealthy and complicated right now. Because they BOTH blurred the boundaries of their transactional benefactor and benefactee thing they have. Stolas trying to get to know him outside of sex should've been AT LEAST enough of a hint, even if it's obviously not complete clarity that he cares for blitz. Its blitz's OWN denial that had him put on the spot and in complete shock when stolas verbalised his feelings
@@SS-ui7by The times Stolas tried to get to know him outside of it were rare and often stained by other harsh feelings. Like when he offered to talk and watch a movie, Blitzo instantly shrugged it off understandably because Stolas was openly ashamed of their relationship, then he was shoved into the dirt by two very close past relationships. Blitz and Stolas very much had a boss employee relationship due to Stolas lording the book over his head previously. He had literally all the power in the relationship and was outright told their deal for the book. You can't go through years of transactional things then suddenly expect someone to know it's real the 1% of the time it is. You have to tell them, make it very clear it's real, and then give them time to process it.

Worth to mention. In the intro song you see that Stolas is out of his antidepressant pills. So he is emotionally unstable today as well, cannot be patient or not take face value what he hears. Maybe it could go differently if he had his daily meds. Depression is horrible.

Ultimately this needed to happen.
Blitzo and Stolas' deal was always exploitative and unhealthy on both ends.
Blitzo is a self-destructive mess who pushes everyone away and demolishes his own relationships because of his insecurities and implusively lashing out, but the harshest part is that he really isn't even completely wrong even if he's clearly not in the right either.
As we saw throughout season 1, Stolas was constantly only thinking and talking about sex with him and ignoring Blitzo when he showed he was uninterested or uncomfortable with the flirting and Stolas really was coercing him into a largely transactional deal at first as seen in the first episode.
Their relationship was inherently unhealthy because of the severe imbalance of power and the fact that even though on some level Blitzo does like Stolas he was being made to feel trapped and unable to have his own boundaries because losing Stolas' favor would mean the destruction of his business and livelihood. Even if it wasn't what Stolas intended to do, it's still what happened because Stolas was overcompensating hard for having gone so long starved for affection and didn't realize how complicated the situation and feelings really were for Blitzo soon enough
Not to say that Blitzo hasn't hurt Stolas and been toxic himself.
They both ended up hurting each other because they don't know how to have a really healthy relationship yet.

After making every public interaction sexual, of course, the person you're confessing to would need a minute to process. On top of that, Blitz was really on an emotional roller-coaster the whole time. Stolas and Blitz really don't know each other. Their knowledge is purely sexual.
I agree. And it was established in season 1 episode 6 that blitz is, at least at the moment, incapable of fathoming proper intimacy, despite craving it

Love that timeline. Especially after the long gap between episodes we had, which made plenty of sense given Vivien's other show had a whole season come out in that gap, but nonetheless, cool that S2 will wrap up by the end of the year.

The reason loona turned to her human form was to avoid being hit by more bullets because her human form she's smaller and thinner than her hellhound form.
A great tactic by using her human form to her advantage.
And even though she got shot in the shoulder she quickly shook off the pain like it was nothing.
And during the fight she not only saved Blitz from being killed but she also saved Moxxie and Millies lives too.
Anyone else thing Collin has a chance to get back into Heaven? Of of the 3 Cherub’s Collin is most responsible and not chaotic one for the other 2’s plans, Hell he’s even less and aggressive and doesn’t swear like the others, worse he’s ever said is “Oh my god” once
To be fair this whole thing did start off as Stolas just wanting to get railed by Blitz in exchange for Blitz to use the book, so Blitz thinking like that is justifiable on his part
I mean it also starts off with blitz tricking then fully commiting to it to steal the book in the first place like it's odd cause while stolas in the bigining didn't covey his feeling the best at all blitz also reinforces it so it becomes a toxic cycle then the fact in blitz's bit of the song he even says stolas has been bring up question and trying to talk about it multiple times and he actibely chooses to not think about it. I mean blitz used him to steal the book gave him sex out of pity then they go through this whole thing in the beginging due to bad communication but also due to blitz's major insecurities since I'm a be real yes the rich of hell suck tho the main person who saw him as expendable was his dad who "sold him" for a condom besides this we get no evidence of the rich f*cking with him to warent this generalised hatred of them especially since in hell it'd make more sense for it to be a species thing even tho the show just can't consistantly show fixxed class systems then you have the fact Fizzoroli , blitz, crimson hell even wachford are shown to be successful well crimsons was since we're told he's running out of money even tho we never really see much of an effect he has enough to employ tons of sharks , striker who has been hired by aristcrats so blitz lines come off way more self hating than taking from any actual experience it's like how he got pissed at mammon for treating fizz how blitz treats moxie everyday it's lacks self awareness but like with that episode I don't think they'l adress it

This was so good the ending hurt me but I understand both points of views 😭 and what’s more sad is that they were under the same chandelier when there were kids, stolas hiding himself in his portraits just like blitz does with his and lastly that blitz was gonna apologize at the end which is lending into apology tour. I enjoyed the fight and we got to see more of loona.
I am glad the emotions are out there at least, now I hope Blitzo will use Loona and Fizz, to contact Octavia and Asmodeus, to slowly get in contact with Stolas again!
You can tell Blitz does truly care about Stolas… that last scene proves it, if he didn’t he would just take the crystal and leave. Instead when Stolas gives it to him he said he could do better, implying he did not want to break the deal with Stolas even though he would have a free ride to the human world without being tied to Stolas… this episode breaks my heart, like you Stolas is my favorite character and I can unfortunately relate to him way too much from a relationship stand point. I hope he gets his happy ending, he deserves it more than most

The end of the trailer for the second part of season 2 tells us approximately when each of the next episodes are going to drop. Apology Tour will be some time this month (probably toward the end), then we'll have a three month break until October, when Ghostfuckers drops, Mastermind in November, then Sinsmas in December.

I honestly feel for both of them, because this is a failure in communication on both their parts. Both with Blitz misunderstanding Stolas's intentions and lashing out at him and accusing him of doing this all on purpose, assuming the worst of him. And with Stolas knowing that Blitz is very defensive with his feelings, but still dumping this shift in their dynamic on him all at once with little explanation and then taking Blitz's immediate knee-jerk reaction as his definitive answer and not giving him time to process.
Like, Blitz's reaction to perceived rejection is to joke it off or get angry. While Stolas's reaction to perceived rejection is to immediately accept it and detatch at the first sign that he's unwanted. Even if neither of them never intended to reject the other.
the next episode releases this month in june and the last 3 in october, november and december, so yeah, hypeee

You need angelic weapons to kill an Angel. While IMP probably does have Striker’s rifle they didn’t have it with them in the fight. Something else to note, since the release of the Hell’s Belles short we are now seeing those red eyes all over Hell like in Hazbin Hotel, nice way to tie the two shows together.

@@mothlee Yup you're right, I just didn't scroll far enough back in the videos page, I didn't realize it's been FIVE MONTHS since it released. I was under the impression he hadn't seen it because I thought he'd know this episode would be about Stolas, but it makes sense that he just forgor.

Because kletus is leader of c.h.e.r.ub. he is anti blitz, when kennie is antie millie and kolin is antie moxxie. I can handle his annoying voice, but overall these other two you find interesting, wouldn't be organic if they lost kletus, just like if moxxie and millie lost blitzo

They both in the wrong in my opinion
Not everything.
The deal Stolas set up between the two of them has been acknowledged to be wrong, and it's become clear that Stolas now understands this, considering that he has not asked Blitzo to abide by the terms of agree to for a couple of months at this point.
Stolas gave Blitzo the Asmodean Crystal completely free of charge, with no strings attached. He didn't have to do that. But because Blitzo is dangerously inside his own head, he still thinks there is some angle being played due his self loathing.
Nah, they’re both in the wrong. Both of them have _very_ understandable and valid reasons for why they behaved in the way they did, but that doesn’t mean their actions/words were _right._ Ultimately, this entire disaster was caused by _both_ of them failing to communicate properly.
Keep in mind, we’re shown at the start of the episode that Stolas was out of his antidepressants, meaning he was even _more_ emotionally fragile/unstable than he normally is (I’ve been there, it’s a TERRIBLE experience). And he was already anxious as hell about the situation to begin with. We’re also flat out _told_ that Stolas does NOT have good self esteem _(“I’ll believe _*_him_*_ and not _*_the voice that says I’m not enough”)_* just like Blitzø.
At the end of the day, the biggest ways they both contributed to this mess can be boiled down to this:
- Blitzø contributed by making Stolas think he was only ever with him for the book, and then by getting defensive and lashing out at Stolas.
- Stolas contributed by taking Blitzo’s first response at face value, and not giving him time to process this or explain himself after he’d lashed out.
Everything he said to Stolas was wrong
Blitz is 100% having a victim complex which has nothing to do with Stolas. Blitz could've just said "I need time to think" but instead he had to throw and temper tantrum, blaming Stolas for stuff he has never done, belittling Stolas because Stolas is rich and Blitz is angry because he can not pretend to be Stolas's victim anymore but Blitz deep down still always enjoyed being with Stolas
So it is 100% his fault
