    I received my HDX on Monday. In South Africa we have 7.5/16/40J options. The 40 was out of stock, so I bought the 16J. I managed to drill the teeny tiny restrictor to 0.5mm using a diamond dremel grinding tip. The grinding tip tapers from 2.5mm down to 0.1mm so the hole is also tapered. It is tricky but it can be done. It shoots more consistently with the restrictor, while giving me between 28-32J.

      Congratulations. Its a very cool marker. With 30 joule energy you have plenty. Cheers from Norway 😃

    88g co2 can fix the problem.
    Hdx are the .68 marker who use more co2 than the other ones.

      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I hope Florian will send me the new parts for it so I can use the 88 gram CO2.

    Hey from Canada Excellent videos Rune. I got my 7 Joule HDX60 this month, im quiet pleased still with the low J version. I would not want to be on the wrong end of the HDX with the T4E hard rubber shots have you seen the X tracer muzzle Umarex put out for this unit?

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you my friend. Its very fun to plink with. You should try some teflonespray down the CO2 tube. That might rise the power a little 😉. I have only seen pictures of it. Maybe they start sell it here in Norway soon 🤔. Take care and have a great weekend 😃

    Thanks for this test, was thinking about selling my HDB68 and buying HDX68 - actually, this latter is a beast in hand, super cool, but now I will most likely remove valve block from HDB and use it with restrictor. The HDX performance shown here does not worth USD 2-300, that much it would cost me to changes from HDB to HDX 😮

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks my friend🙏. Iam glad you like the video. Keep your HDB68. Its a better marker and way more powerful than the HDX68. Here in Norway the price for the HDX68 is ca usd 630 😳. So very expencive here....

    Question if you spray PTFE down co2 tube will the restrictor always come out? And if it did fall out can you hear it rattling about inside? And would there be a chance it could get caught or jammed up in something? Thanks rune

      Hi my friend. I just tried with the teflonespray and hoped for the best. It worked on mine but not sure it will work everytime. Only way to find out is to try. If it popps out you will notice a higher power from the marker. Messure the velocity and see what the results will be. But you cant hear it. It dont have much space to move around and it cant jam the valve.

    16 joules valve restrictor modified or full original ?

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      16 joule orginal, but I have sprayed teflonespray down the CO2 tube. This made the restrictor that normaly sits in the brass tube popp out so it have a better flow of CO2.

    nice test buddy, not as much as last time you got 35 joules?

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you my friend. I guess its the light weight rubberballs to blame for the low energy. When I use heavy balls the energy will rise quite a bit 🙂

      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds great my friend. I will need the new adapter from www.homedefence-24.com for it to use the 88 gram CO2. Cheers 😃

      @desertdog01 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a co called AnS gear that sells the hdx 68 11 j that uses an 88 g or the 2 co2 unit with out an adapter.

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that might be so. New stuff comes out all the time. Maybe it is the 40 joule version and not the 16 joule?@@desertdog01
