The only reason they are "not as long" is the lofts which you can also get in a players MB or CB they all go the same distance when the lofts are the same
Hey. Love the channel. I saw you had this video labeled “only 1 percent can hit these” then changed to best irons in 2024, then back to the 1 percent. Just wanted to get your thoughts on who this iron is targeting and forgiveness. 4.2 GHIN here and been drooling over these.
I wrote this on another video, I am a high handicapper, mainly due to health but high anyway. I am a good ball striker. I currently use the i200’s. I went to local range and the chap let me try the 7 iron blueprint S. shaft s300. I was carrying 155 consistently with comfortable swing. Could push to 170 carry with slightly stronger draw. My numbers were tighter than my i200 7 iron. Great club, feels fantastic but will go try all and different shafts to what gives best numbers
Just bought the Ping I525 irons because they feel like butter hitting them, even more than Mizunos. Can't wait for them to arrive in a couple of weeks 😍
when talking about how a golf club feels, buttery means soft. that is the one area where the i525 has gotten the most complaints. look up the golfwrx forum for instance, lots of love there for the i525, but everyone is knocking the i525 for feeling hard as a rock compared to for instance a forged mizuno. If anyone thinks the i525 is soft, they are paralysed or dont have anything else to reffrence.@@66GordonBombay
Seems like Ping is only going after the two extremes; the Blueprints and the i230 for the lower handicaps and the G430 for the higher handicaps but not much for those of us in the middle.🤔
After 2 years back to the game from a 20 year hiatus, I’m scoring mid 90s for 18. I just hit the i230s over the weekend and even though they were too short and flat for me off the demo rack, they felt better that the i59s and performed as well as my old and still very forgiving Zing2 set. I’d say the 230s aren’t just for low handicappers
There is some debate out there on the forums that the Blueprints are as soft as advertised. In my indoor testing, both T and S are extremely firm 8620 steel. Alex, your thoughts? Would love to hear you compare the impact to other irons they might be like, verbally. I'm coming from 221. Clearly they won't be THAT soft, but they weren't even Srixon soft in my testing. Thank you
They are not buttery soft as that's not Pings deal they like their clubs to have a firm powerful feel and while they certainly are pleasant for sure they are not a Muira blade nor do they wish to be. Alot of people don't like all that soft feel stuff such as Callaway mush soft or that awful white hot insert some like a bit more feedback it's all in preference and what others say about feel basically doesn't matter because if you like it who cares what a forum says
@@davewylie654 Miura is one of the more firm forgings out there. The 101 blade from Miura is a great blade but has a firm feel. BY DESIGN. EPON/Endo/Mizuno are the ultra soft irons.
I play blades because they feel great and my ball ends up close to the pin. They are not as long but my scorecard has no spot for length.

I'd hit the "like" button 3x if they'd allow me to just to see more All on the course testing clubs
Al can whack a 300+ yard drive with a spade...which I'm still hoping he'd try...be about a million thumbs up to get that
Screw the simulator reviews 😂
And that’s why I struggle to sleep at night! Thank goodness 😂
Awesome video Al. Great review of a good looking iron.
That is a super gorgeous iron❤

Try them...

You must be a high handicapper sand bagger 😂 if you are hitting I200S and like these. These are a long way from high handi clubs
You said/hinted smurfy "blue" ....I thought Mizuno first...bring back blue clubs! 💙
Hmmm nice ... I like it when there are no surprises after a hit. Coolio. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I hit them coming from the i210 and these easier to find the middle, so soft, softer than T100. Must hit and at least try them.
I got one a 9 Iron to try because I wanted a club shape close to my Ping Glide 4.0 wedges which I hit great. If it performs well I will get the rest
Had the first issues, could not find the middle consistently? Beautiful irons however!
Ping needs to sort itself out. That notch on the neck needs to be slightly larger so we can use it to open a bottle of beer!!
It’s preposterous!
You must be from the UK and haven't figured out its a cigar holder silly

I wish I kept mine. Well done. Nice choice!
i525 feeling more buttery than mizunos is just a straight up lie.
@@martyboysationa “feeling” sounds pretty subjective to me

@@martyboysation Yes. Mizuno, Srixon and Wilson staff for off the shelf forged butter!
In fairness, Al thinks an old McDonald's fry he found in his cup holder is delicious 😂
Who wants reviews of nice things? I want reviews of awful things.
When will we see you smash the Qi10 LS and Dark Speed LS drivers?
Wait, are you in America? I clearly missed some videos or something
Move over Mona Lisa, make room for the Blueprints...
Like left I mean who doesn’t want to see these out of the course in hands of a ball striking busker. 👍
Love ya channel madman. Get busy, keep us entertained..

ever heard of the i5xx series?
i230 is also a very playable iron for a 15ish handicapper

I500s
Wrong!!! Please go hit the I530 Or even the I500 that is 3 yrs old now they are exquisite and perfect for high mids all the way to scratch
T and S are both amazing think 5-9 in T maybe a 5iron in S

1%? 😂 get real I’m a 10 handicapper and love these
You do realise that 1% is actually some people right? 🤦♂️ oh the internet
Looks a bit like zx7
Hello golf man!
28° in Brisbane today, … just saying!
Looks pretty close to ZX5
Closer to ZX7
7i strong at 33 degrees not 37
Listen again to what I said
I listened again maybe I am missing it looked at the chart you put up shows 7i length 37, loft 33, retro was about 35. Not a big deal though.👍
Should be three lofts retro standard and whatever they call the jacked up one
@@davewylie654 agreed. Have to sell clubs though companies making people believe they are hitting further not mentioning loft change. Infomercials
I’m assuming Blueprint S stands for “Shanks” and T for “Thins” 🤔
Lovely club but god your back swing is getting seriously flat!?!
I noticed that as well…
Had a back injury and also the angle doesn’t help
