Because of your Chanel I tried EGO. I started with the push lawnmower now I have 5 of there yard maintenance tools. As a heavy diesel mechanic for 30 plus years. I’m not easily impressed. But I really do like the EGO tools I have and do recommend them to people I know. A couple months ago a group of men from church got together to clean up an elderly woman’s yard. I went and purchased the EGO chain saw. I was surprised big time just how well it cut no lack of power. I bucked up 4 down trees all 8-10 inch diameter and 30-40 feet long. 16 inch long sections all on 1 battery. Had to change out the battery for the last to cuts. Very good product
I bought my ego lawnmower, string trimmer and blower last summer and I cannot see ever going back to gas equipment. They make an incredible product that just works and takes a beating and just keeps working. I am forever an EGO fan
i hope frankie watches some tree cutting vids before he hurts himself. other than that, nice tools. batteries are too big for what i do and im already invested into dewilt line.
Enjoyed watching this. Ego really is on the cutting edge of battery tools. I was impressed with the chainsaw, it’s got plenty of power to rip through sizable trees. Same thing with the auger. Plenty of power to spare. And a dirt bike too? Very cool!
Friend wanted a new push lawnmower was always complaining about gas, getting it to run, having to bag. Suggested an EGO, nope don’t want a weak cheap pos mower. Told her, you don’t like it I’ll buy if from you. Liked it so much refused to let me touch it. Still has the mulching plug in place with standard blades. She’s so impressed with its ability to mulch and not need to bag the grass she won’t even let me put the mulching blade on it. Loves that it doesn’t make her tired out just trying to start it. Only thing better would be a rider. 😂 I think she even likes the challenge of trying to keep up with it by setting the speed on high. Now she cuts the lawn whenever the neighbors are out just to put on a show and make them all ask about it.
I just got my EGO Mini Bike last Friday and it's been an absolute blast so far. Love all of my EGO tools as well. I have the weed eater with extendable shaft, chainsaw, light, and leaf blower. That light might as well be stadium lighting, I can light up like 2-3 acres of my property when I put that on the porch at max brightness lol. The portability and compatibility with the batteries is just great. I wish it would stop raining so I could ride the bike more.
It really looks like the EGO is making a nice lineup. I bought a Dewalt 60v chainsaw 2-3 years ago and I was impressed. I cut up a large pine that went down, limbed, chunked with 2 bars left. The only complaint I have is that it leaks bar oil.
Have Ego Chain saw, String trimmer, Hedge trimmer, Edger, Leaf blower for three years... This, occasional yard work, half the of the rechargeable batteries are dead : (
I have seen EGO products before but never tested or bought any...... They sure look like a great company and good ideas for items.... Thanks for sharing DM!!
i commented this on another comment on this video, and then saw this. and this is my opinion ;) : yes but i think, lets say this for an example: for a gas powered chainsaw 145$ for an battery powered chainsaw. the gas one you put 1-5$ dollars of gas in it and you're ready to work. the battery one. you need a charger or 2 or more, a battery or more and that will be like maybe 300$ just for that to power the chainsaw. so if you're starting a business, do you want to pay 455$ or 145$ for and when you pay 455$ you pay for at battery powered chainsaw that isn't even more powerful than a 145$ gas. Of course there is less maintance on the chainsaw, but if you dont abuse it, and take care of it, clean it after every use, buy a service kit every year. it will hold up for like 5+ years. and batteries wont even last that long so.
Ego seems to be making some pretty neat stuff. I've been jumping on the red and black band wagon. Seems to be working out pretty well for me. Keep up the good work
I'd have never thought the chainsaw would get that many cuts from it... got a 60V dewalt leaf blower that drains the batteries in under 5 minutes of full throttle with the $300 batteries after that experience i stuck picked up a used Stihl gasser. Only good experience I've had with larger battery operated tools is the ION gen 3 ice augur.
I've said before, I love my Ego push mower. I almost bought one of the chainsaws but the weight was just way to heavy. Here's a thought Stanley, A combination sunshade/ solar panel on the rider. Hey? Tell me you don't like that idea.
yes but i think, lets say this for an example: for a gas powered chainsaw 145$ for an battery powered chainsaw. the gas one you put 1-5$ dollars of gas in it and you're ready to work. the battery one. you need a charger or 2 or more, a battery or more and that will be like maybe 300$ just for that to power the chainsaw. so if you're starting a business, do you want to pay 455$ or 145$ for and when you pay 455$ you pay for at battery powered chainsaw that isn't even more powerful than a 145$ gas. It was watching your videos Stan that first put me onto Ego. using your reviews and doing my own research I started looking to purchase. First I looked at the new ZT with the steering wheel but after costing it and using one on demo it wasn't for me (got a bobcat instead 😁) however that gave me the confidence to buy ego's small power tool's. I'm a professional Arborist in the UK so I bought the Ego top Handle chainsaw, I can seriously vouch for that peice of kit, I run it as my everyday saw, not mad keen on the powercord lanyard... But it's a starting point. It also came unhooked & fell 60ft onto tarmac pavement😅, the only damage it sustained was the oil sensor is comes on more frequent, but mega robust💪🏻 Front there I got a hedge trimmer (domestic model) which blew me away & just recently the new 4500 loop handle line trimmer a very good but of kit but it easy through 4ah batteries, much better with the 5ahs Next I'm looking to get more batteries, get the new csx5000 ground saw, a long reach hedge trimmer & a pro short arm hedge trimmer. I'm completely sold on Ego & expect to be running 70-80% Battery by 2025 ⚡
I use EGO's trimmer, edger and blower. All of them are fantastic. Rarely run out of power while making my lawn look great! Question is can this product which is made for the homeowner stand up to the rigors of a professional landscaper?
I have tools that plug into the wall that have been working for 60+ years and gas powered tools that have been working for 40+ years. None of my battery tools stand the test of time. Most die in a year or two. I need to make money with them friends. They need to work when I work. I really wonder what takes more time at this point. Charging, buying and waiting for batteries or plugging a cord into the wall.
Love all my ego products Zero Turn Power washer Weed eater Hedge trimmer Multi tool - edger Blower 22 inch self perpelled mower Snow blower All are awesome- no issues with any tools or batteries (yet)
I have enjoyed my Z6 riding zero turn mower for 2 years and then the right drive motor broke. Now I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get it back, fix under warranty.
I startwd with 60v Greenworks about 5 years ago with a blower, quickly added weed eater and then the 25 in mower. I have added backpack sprayer and electric pressure washer. I have had zero problems with anything. I have all the original batteries and performing as expected
I have a ego push mower I use for a small area. Nice and quiet, good battery life, and has a light which is very handy as I was finishing in the dark tonight. Also have ego blower. Good overall, but wish it were not so noisy.
They make some nice tools, but the batteries don't seem to last for more than 2 - 3 years. When you go to replace batteries, it's usually only a little bit more to buy the tool packages vs just new batteries. Just my experience.
I love my ego gear. I would totally buy that power washer if it works from a static source. Currently when I power wash my dock or boats I have to run a long hose from my house across the road to the washer. It’d be very nice to use just that unit. I’ve tried the dewalt power washer thing but it’s not enough power. I also tried feeding my power washer with a pump which worked but is a pain compared to 200 feet of garden hose.
Sorry Stan battery hand tool are all I own are Milwaukee. I've seen neighbors buy them and after 2 years the batteries don't seem to last. I stick with gas thank you.
I have 40 volt Ryobi weed eater with multiple attachments and chain saw and pole saw. I also havev6 batteries. Don't have any issues. When my gas lawn mower has to be replaced I'll probably buy a Ryobi mower or tractor.
I got their mower a year ago, and it out performed my gas one. This year I got the contractor grad edger and it eats weeds and tall grass like a starving lion.
Mmm, you should see Ryobi tractor 🚜 does lot more and has carry box built on back with trailer hitch also 42" cut + and it does 2 acres easy and coming is dump loader also
I forgot electric vehicles have to work perfectly in the Midwest winters. There was a story, that electric vehicles became lead weights during a below zero cold spell in Chicago. So, I'm never going to say, that electric vehicles are not our future, but batteries are perfected as of yet. This last winter was mild in the Midwest, but it's not always that way.
Don’t get the small snow thrower for stairs and decks and sidewalks. Has no wheels and just slides on plastic and is very heavy to use. Easier to just shovel!
it is good stuff competivley priced good long warranty on equipment and battery my only grudge is there hedge trimmers are heavy and before building more different equipment need to work more on the stuff they do have like tweak it and improve stuff more user friendley
I'm not saying that they are the best or anything like that but they get the job done. I'm talking about Ryobi. I've never used any of their bigger stuff with the 40 volt batteries but I've been using 18 volt type stuff for years and even back when they had the nickel cadmium batteries those tools still work with the lithium ion batteries also. But they keep coming up with new stuff all the time that uses 18 volt batteries and it comes in real Handy for me. I just wish the batteries weren't so darn expensive they cost more than the tools. But I don't need tools to make a living anymore I just need tools to do whatever I need to do around the house. I'm retired so I don't need the top of the line whatever anymore. But I have no complaints and also I have a 4 cycle engine weed wacker that's also made by Ryobi and it works great and I have all kinds of attachments to go with it too
I bought into Green Works a decade ago. Their stuff is still going. I use Ryobi for my power tools so I have been looking at their 40 volt line. Not ready to pull the trigger yet.
I have a bunch of Ryobi 40v stuff and it's good. One thing though is they sell a bunch of different grade and price tools in the 40v line. Be sure to opt for the higher end options , because the less expensive 40v stuff does not have the performance. Also, the attachments work on either the Ryobi or Stihl power heads which is a bonus!
Although, I don't think electric vehicles or electric construction equipment is not the been perfected as of yet. It's all perfecting the battery storage compacity. If they come up with an electric vehicle, that drive at a 1,000 miles on a single charge and can recharge wirelessly. I can charge my phone wirelessly with a pad and that's what they need with a electric vehicle. Drive over a pad and it's quick and fast.
I always say, if you don't innovate, then you will go into the dustbin of history. Like Polaroid. They created the instant picture camera in 1948,but they didn't innovate, when computers came around. Now, the same is true with Sears, Montgomery Wards, and Jc Penny. They didn't upgrade with the change in closing style and their selection of offerings were outdated. I think AT&T home internet is outdated, becausethey are still using telephone wires to deliver high speed internet. Now, satellite TV is realizing, that people don't want a stupid dish on their house and are innovating. Charter is innovating and are making the consumer buy a Xumo stream box, in which is glorified Roku box. That way, they aren't spending any money supplying customers with cable boxes on Spectrums dime.
my ego blower has great power.....but if you use the power the battery dies so fast that its basically useless!!! and a 2nd battery to buy is so much ive all but given up on it

Great toys/tools! love what EGO is doing! Solar off grid options!
i hope frankie watches some tree cutting vids before he hurts himself. other than that, nice tools. batteries are too big for what i do and im already invested into dewilt line.

I'm only a weekend warrior but I love my ego and have the mower, blower, weed eater, edger, chainsaw and trimmer and I've had them 5+ years

I’ve seen videos on how to bring old batteries back to life, it involves two electrical wires
I have seen EGO products before but never tested or bought any...... They sure look like a great company and good ideas for items.... Thanks for sharing DM!!
Bought the ego push mower and it works great no issues. Had it about a year plus kids love mowing also.
Battery chainsaws are better at cutting the big issues is the battery life, recharge times, upfront battery cost.
i commented this on another comment on this video, and then saw this. and this is my opinion ;) :

Hedge trimmer
Multi tool - edger
Blower
22 inch self perpelled mower
Snow blower
All are awesome- no issues with any tools or batteries (yet)

EGO IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO IN OPE. I OWN PLENTY AND LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE
I have a ego push mower I use for a small area. Nice and quiet, good battery life, and has a light which is very handy as I was finishing in the dark tonight. Also have ego blower. Good overall, but wish it were not so noisy.

The opening antics kept me expecting you to end the video by calling a lodge meeting to order and saying The Man's Prayer. #redgreen 😂
Frankie, go test this chain saw... Frankie [big grin].
Zakk almost ended up like a squirrel on a rotating feeder with that auger. 😁
You’re the reason I invested in an Ego mower/blower and weed whacker
I recently purchased a EGO 56v string trimmer, so far so good.
I love my ego mower, blower, and weedwacker..never going back..but i still own a gas variant in all those just in case
Can’t wait till the high Flo skid steer and excavator come out.
I hope u enjoyed ur last ego shipment Stan after them tractor doughnuts hahahah😂😂😂.
Any battery bigger than an impact is a pain…run time sucks and tech isn’t there yet ….sticking with petroleum based equipment for landscape etc…..
Good video thanks Stan. Also great equipment but it’s expensive when you need to also buy the batteries.
Looks like that 20 inch chain saw is actually the residential model.
I have 40 volt Ryobi weed eater with multiple attachments and chain saw and pole saw. I also havev6 batteries. Don't have any issues. When my gas lawn mower has to be replaced I'll probably buy a Ryobi mower or tractor.

Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
I use a 6 amp battery to balance, the front heaviness of the wead eater.
Love my Ego mower, it eats my Husqvarna HU800AWD for breakfast. Have a blower and a couple other tools, no complaints.
That company has it together
What I noticed in my ego weed eater the clips holding battery is hard to open..same with the blower
it is good stuff competivley priced good long warranty on equipment and battery my only grudge is there hedge trimmers are heavy and before building more different equipment need to work more on the stuff they do have like tweak it and improve stuff more user friendley
Finally. Less ranting and more about why i subscribed to your channel. Dirt, tools. And work
Whine much?

Stanley please please please STOP showing Frankie felling trees!! He’s gonna get somebody killed!
I came for the tree felling comments
Why the hell am i watching guys work after i get done with work???
EGO string trimmers are nice just don’t like the carbon fiber shafts. Had one snap after 2 yrs of use.
when i get the money i def getting the ego push mower,
I bet someone who is knowledgeable with software could retune the twist throttle to make it happen like the Banks pedal commander

I have an ego mower and weed whacker and I love them.... but unfortunately I hate Lowes so I won't likely be buying any more ego stuff.
Their chainsaw is a piece of junk. Well, at least trying to keep the chain tension properly is junk.
Although, I don't think electric vehicles or electric construction equipment is not the been perfected as of yet. It's all perfecting the battery storage compacity. I've got an EGO blower. It's OK.
What stores carry the Ego Brush cutter?
Ace hardware, and acme tools carry ego brush cutters.

What would really put EGO mower to the test and every professional will be watching X-blade it and make video ill be waiting ta ta for now 👍👍👍👍👍👌
Please mow some trees with that mower
Impressive for battery
Nice video.
My only concern is all the plastic
Fully charge the batteries and they die just sitting when not being used.
Holy crap though, $2000 for batteries just to run the mower?
I want that e bike now 😂
my ego blower has great power.....but if you use the power the battery dies so fast that its basically useless!!! and a 2nd battery to buy is so much ive all but given up on it
I would love to see a carbon fiber version of the yard tractor :)
Would love to have the chainsaw to carry in my sxs for conveniense
I think stihl not good. Milwaukee been good. Looking for new. Items.
Reporting for duty Stan
Bagger
Way to much bulls**t intro, just the facts, sir. Got tired of it before anything about the subject of the video came up. Just the facts, if I want to watch a comedy show about tools, I will watch reruns of Home Improvement.
here to help
