I live in Quebec Canada. I am a beginner. Just bought a Solomark 130eq. I am a older man and retired. Need a new hobby. So trying out telescope. I like SVbony products seem to be well made. M y you tube and zoom friends have been watching and talking about my new hobby and some have bought scopes now. This is my first live stream view on SVbony.
If I were you, I would buy a fishing rod and fish for salmon :) You live in an excellent place in this regard. You move and breathe fresh air :) Astrophotography takes a lot of time and causes a lot of frustration when the weather is not good ;)
Ps. Solomark 130eq is a piece of crap, I'm sorry to write this, but you bought a typical supermarket telescope that won't do you any good. The design of this lens includes a factory-installed Barlow lens, which effectively degrades the image. I know what I'm writing - I had one under a different brand. It's a piece of crap, the best you can do is to take it to the trash.
