Profile needed to get such a role during summer placements . 5. Can I as an English honours graduate from Calcutta University (fresher) get a business analytics role after MBA from IIM, FMS or other top b-schools?
The general increments are 20-30%, not sure about Year End bonuses. Working hours are 12-14 hours a day. Analytics role looking for strong hold on math/data, excel, research. Yes, English grads can make it.
No doubt why there are so many engineers in every field, even in UPSC exams and other fields. In Mukherjee Nagar (Delhi) there is a saying that " agr kisi bhi class mai teacher aakhane bnd krke randomly ptthar fenke toh strong possibility hai ki ptthar kisi Engineer ko jake lge" and It is because of the huge supply from many institutions. However the majority of fields demand scientific temperament which could be an edge for the majority of engineers. Except this, there is no difference between an engineer and non-engineer. Now as far as the scientific temperament thing is concerned, it is a particular way of thinking which can be developed by anyone with practice, time and patience. I am a CS engineer but I don't consider myself different from others. Even maine toh kaafi competition techniques Shewta Maam se sikhi hain, Aap kisi competition ki prep krte ho toh ye matter nhi krta from where you come from... Kuch had tk background help krta hai but sirf background ke base pr competition crack nhi hote. Competition provides equal opportunities for all. So in my opinion people should not waste their time on thinking about these trivial matters instead they should focus on themselves and strive to improve everyday.

You don't have to compete with Engineer. IIMs encourage Non-eng so you just have to be at the top of the non-eng aspirants. I guess you are enrolled in IMS Ahmedabad. Just follow whatever the teacher says. they are awesome. I'm last year student

FMI wala certification hai - it will be more expensive and also more value-additive. Udemy wala course hai, less expensive and less value-additive than FMI.

I give one or two hours for QA daily but in the time I am only able to solve very few number of questions than what I expected to do sometimes not even 10. Basically im doing LOD2 and it has total of 54 questions for a topic. But you had asked me to do 50 questions x3 days in part of the daily routine. Is there other recommended places that I can solve practice questions from? thank youu anywayy
These many are more than sufficient, 50 ques a day doesn't necessarily have to be from the same chapter. If the concept is clear, go ahead with the next chapter. And feel free to ask any number of doubts, happy to help! :)

Surely! I used to answer questions randomly on Quora first. Then, I started noticing how the top writers wrote their answers (well-researched, bullet points, bold formatting). I started using more photos, better formatting and writing style, making the content more relatable. That's how I got better at it.

I got AS before joining coaching. I knew my math was weak so I wanted to self-prep for it for some time. You can use AS only for LOD 1 questions extra practice. I also didn't finish all LOD 2 questions and didn't solve most LOD 3.
If you mean for practicing questions, wordpandit and hitbullseye have many questions free online. Offline books I'd recommend are Arun Sharma and Oswaal Books.

I was a fresher, did some internships though. To make your profile better, you can do internships, courses, NGO experience, participate in competitions.
Do check the last video on weak math, it will help. You can study the concepts from books/videos on YT/coaching classes and then practice questions in batches as illustrated in that video.

I haven't taken CMAT so I am not entirely sure about all the colleges but you have to apply to colleges separately for sure. To be sure of when to apply, ask this question in community forums e.g. iQuanta Fb group, many past year aspirants are also there, you'll get a reply instantly.
Hi di I have a lot of questions 1.) I had 3 years of gap for preparation of medical entrance and I scored really poorly so will that affect my chance for iim ( I realized I am actually not interested in the degree I was just part of a rat race and I continued since I felt I have invested so much time already) I have scored nearly 81% and 82% in 10 and 12 respectively 2.) What undergrad course and what colleges will be best to increase chances for iim 3) also how to actually know if MBA degree is for you like is there any way of knowing I am interested but since I realize medicine is not for me so I am a little scared
1. Gap year won't be any issue 2. Choose basis interest, firse same mistake mat karna. It's better to do internships or talk to seniors to understand alag alag fields mein kya hota hai. It is easier for nonengineers to get in. 3. MBA is if you're up for a fast-paced growth-oriented lifestyle. Work-wise, you'll be a manager, so have to work with teams, people, resources.
Idk why engineers dominate , a BBA student or a BCOM student will have a much much better knowledge about the subjects base than a Btech student then why give undue pref , oohho this is india dude here engineers and doctors are only given priority, such a patriarchal society we live in narrow minded clgs
Bro stfu y'all just not able to score 99 percentile in cat whereas those engineers from iits score this much with only 3 months of preparation. There's also the academic profile. Those engineers have 9/9/9 in 10th 12th n graduation whereas y'all took commerce because of ur low marks in 10th😭😭😭😭
And muje ye samaj nhi aata engineering being an expensive ug still people can afford mba i myself am going to do engineering from a good college cause i prepare for jee but regret i would have done a cheap bba and enjoyed and crack snap that was easy and got arround 5 lakh in summer intern only so a lot less fees and better return

So basically, i am following your daily routine where i try to do 50quant problems, 5-10 sets of dilr and 2-3 editorials and 3-5 rcs with the fillers. But basically before this I am going through concept videos, by ravi prakash etc. so my first question is, when the concept videos for each topic are about 6 videos x30 mins each its coming to about 3 hrs per day. In this case how do I cover each chapter within 3 days. Should I accommodate more time to do problems, because 2-3 hrs per day isnt enough😢. My second question is, is arun sharma good for VARC, DILR and QUANTS can I use only that for prep. this is apart from mocks that i will take in the weekends
Thank you so much! 😊🙌 I understand your situation, the time spent on watching the concept videos can be reduced by watching them on 1.5x or going over repetitive questions. If that's also done, then it's okay to not be able to do a chapter in 3 days. When I mentioned 3 days, I referred to finishing the practice questions of LOD 1 in that time. If concepts are taking longer, spend more time, it's only gonna pay off well. And yes, AS books along with mocks are sufficient.

I have used AS for all sections. I used to cover TIME booklets first and if I got time then AS (not completely), only as much as I could do.

FMI wala certification hai - it will be more expensive and also more value-additive. Udemy wala course hai, less expensive and less value-additive than FMI.

See I'm not able to pay the fees of IIMs so I'm thinking to take cllgs like FMS du after appearing in cat 2023 so make a long and detail video of cllgs with low fees but better placements also (and accepting CAT exam too)

Hello ma'am.. I am preparing for cat 23 from time Indore. I give one or two hours for QA daily but in the time I am only able to solve very few number of questions than what I expected to do sometimes not even 10. My energy also gets exhausted in that time than I can't push myself more on QA. And at the end of the day I feel that I didn't complete today's task . Should I be worrying about my speed?

Hi Shweta, I have another question(sorrryy :p) if I am targetting to do 3 days of practice questions for a particular quant, dilr chapter, arun sharma does not have enough. Basically im doing LOD2 and it has total of 54 questions for a topic. But you had asked me to do 50 questions x3 days in part of the daily routine. Is there other recommended places that I can solve practice questions from? thank youu anywayy
These many are more than sufficient, 50 ques a day doesn't necessarily have to be from the same chapter. If the concept is clear, go ahead with the next chapter. And feel free to ask any number of doubts, happy to help! :)

Surely! I used to answer questions randomly on Quora first. Then, I started noticing how the top writers wrote their answers (well-researched, bullet points, bold formatting). I started using more photos, better formatting and writing style, making the content more relatable. That's how I got better at it.

I got AS before joining coaching. I knew my math was weak so I wanted to self-prep for it for some time. You can use AS only for LOD 1 questions extra practice. I also didn't finish all LOD 2 questions and didn't solve most LOD 3.

If you mean for practicing questions, wordpandit and hitbullseye have many questions free online. Offline books I'd recommend are Arun Sharma and Oswaal Books.

I was a fresher, did some internships though. To make your profile better, you can do internships, courses, NGO experience, participate in competitions.

Do check the last video on weak math, it will help. You can study the concepts from books/videos on YT/coaching classes and then practice questions in batches as illustrated in that video.

I haven't taken CMAT so I am not entirely sure about all the colleges but you have to apply to colleges separately for sure. To be sure of when to apply, ask this question in community forums e.g. iQuanta Fb group, many past year aspirants are also there, you'll get a reply instantly.

Hi di I have a lot of questions 1.) I had 3 years of gap for preparation of medical entrance and I scored really poorly so will that affect my chance for iim ( I realized I am actually not interested in the degree I was just part of a rat race and I continued since I felt I have invested so much time already) I have scored nearly 81% and 82% in 10 and 12 respectively
2.) What undergrad course and what colleges will be best to increase chances for iim
3) also how to actually know if MBA degree is for you like is there any way of knowing I am interested but since I realize medicine is not for me so I am a little scared
1. Gap year won't be any issue
2. Choose basis interest, firse same mistake mat karna. It's better to do internships or talk to seniors to understand alag alag fields mein kya hota hai. It is easier for nonengineers to get in.
3. MBA is if you're up for a fast-paced growth-oriented lifestyle. Work-wise, you'll be a manager, so have to work with teams, people, resources.
In an exact same situation tho.

Hi Shwetha,I have a query, but first i LOVE YOUR VIDEOS this is such a god send. So basically, i am following your daily routine where i try to do 50quant problems, 5-10 sets of dilr and 2-3 editorials and 3-5 rcs with the fillers. But basically before this I am going through concept videos, by ravi prakash etc. so my first question is, when the concept videos for each topic are about 6 videos x30 mins each its coming to about 3 hrs per day. In this case how do I cover each chapter within 3 days. Should I accommodate more time to do problems, because 2-3 hrs per day isnt enough😢. My second question is, is arun sharma good for VARC, DILR and QUANTS can I use only that for prep. this is apart from mocks that i will take in the weekends
Thank you so much! 😊🙌 I understand your situation, the time spent on watching the concept videos can be reduced by watching them on 1.5x or going over repetitive questions. If that's also done, then it's okay to not be able to do a chapter in 3 days. When I mentioned 3 days, I referred to finishing the practice questions of LOD 1 in that time. If concepts are taking longer, spend more time, it's only gonna pay off well. And yes, AS books along with mocks are sufficient.
