The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation. The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of the animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.

I have seen so many channels with monkeys. This channel by far is my favorite and truly enjoy watching. The do not look stressed,scared, sick, not in pampers or clothes and not drugged up. So many channels out there with people mistreating baby monkeys. Thank you all for the love and kindness of these beautiful babies.

🇨🇦❤️🐵🐰 Hello from Ontario Canada,. Dave I've followed your videos for a very long, long time now, and have seen the love, care, kindness and pure selflessness you and everyone of your volunteers have poured into these vervet monkeys. They are such beautiful animals! I have to admit it was total ignorance on my part before I started watching and learning from your videos that I used to so want a baby monkey as a pet. Since watching your videos I've learnt just how harmful keeping these beautiful animals as pets can be for them. They are most certainly meant to be a house pet. I see it now as really sad when people turn them over to your foundation wearing diapers and clothes! Of course they look so sweet, but it's all not good for them I've now learnt physically, spiritually, and especially emotionally. 😥 I sincerely hope that everyone, like myself, that's looking to keep one as a pet, watches and learns as they get dropped off to you, how it's affected them and how hard you's all work to help these little darling back to being healthy physically and emotionally to prepare them to live in the troops that best suits them. It's quite amazing what yourself and your volunteers do to help them. Thank you all so much for these so, so important videos and what you all do to protect these wild animals! Sincerely...

I loved this extra footage, but my fave part had to be Bru discovering his feet... 29:45 it was the (second) cutest baby moment ever!! He’s just so sweet and innocent and strangely confident, but at the same time he is so BRAND NEW☺️ !! motor skills=shaky at best! (First cutest baby moment will probably always be Gimli playing with a toilet roll in the James introcage just a short time before meeting the moms, but after such a long emo road w/him it was like the sun finally coming out after 6 mos of rain in Seattle to see him be silly and play - so cheesy but true 🤷🏼♀️). ✌🏽➕💗

I am not normally crazy about monkeys, but I have to say that of all the different kinds of monkeys, these have got to be the cutest. Thank you for rescuing and restoring them to the wild.
Well they aren't actually restored completely to the wild. The babies are placed with troops that are there at their sanctuary.

21:27 says it all ya? That’s a frame worthy photo! It amazes me how calm and at ease these little ones are with humans they’ve only just met, especially considering most if not all are likely coming from a very recent traumatic experience. It’s hard to imagine them being pests that get shot.

Glad to hear that. I’m sorry I haven’t been in touch much. I am actually sitting in my car somewhere in Virginia USA, which is about 8 hours from my former home, in the parking of a Hilton hotel. I kept getting woken up by excessively loud snoring from my aunt so I had to go to a pharmacy for earplugs and saw the alert for this video! I’m in the process of driving to the house I bought!! When I last emailed with you guys I mentioned I was looking at homes well now i officially own one! One of the reason why I decided Florida would be a good place instead of Boston is the training I’m able to get in working with primates. This might show my seriousness about working with monkeys. In Florida they have sanctuaries and lots of places I can get experience. I’m determined to go to Africa and Asia to help monkeys! Especially this horrifying torture of newborn and baby macaques in Cambodia! It’s a personal mission to stop that from being showcased all over TH-cam! I think TH-cam needs to change the policy in regard to videos and channels on monkeys. It shouldn’t be people who steal them or put the infant in situations where they get hurt or suffering! It should be legal sanctuaries etc. only that should have videos.

It was nice my love Floki I missed seeing him on Thursday 😞 but I he is probably getting his time away so has an opportunity to meet his new family he’ll be living with here shortly.
