I saw them in Salt Lake City this year, and yeah, I noticed they are getting more interactive. The last time I saw them live was in 2017 opening for Ministry, and they just slammed out their set and went offstage. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome, and exactly what I wanted from them. This time, though, Ride was hyping up his bandmates, getting off the stage for Zach's drum solos, and even motioning for the crowd to get involved in some spots. I hope this means they have a renewed energy and we get new music out of it.

I saw MC Ride at a grocery store in Sacramento yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I saw them like 2 weeks ago, and holy shit man, what a show. I thought I was gonna die at multiple points, and it was amazing. We're Death Grips and this is the color red. I did feel like there was an energy exchange between the band and crowd, but I was also fairly close and it was a pretty hellish feeling in the best way.
Took the 4hr train to see them in Glasgow just over a month ago, my first DG show and I was sadly not prepared for the energy, thought "I may not ever see them again why not be at the front," had an anxiety attack by the start of the 2nd track and had to be surfed over the barrier lmao. Spent the rest of the show wandering behind/to the side of the crowd and still had an amazing time but couldn't quite comprehend it from the sheer adrenaline still pumping through my veins. So, in my very tainted opinion, I thought they performed incredibly, every track had energy, Ride was on point with the vocals as much as I thought humanly possible, the pace of the setlist was perfect, and Zach's drumming into Hacker getting the whole crowd in unison for that one final bop, only one other show has ever topped the pure hype for me. Glad you enjoyed the show Tony, wish I could've been there for their early era like you.
what show topped the hype? i just saw jpegmafia after seeing death grips in nj and it felt underwhelming in comparison 😭, i need more artists with crazy crowds now
@@MrDokugan bruh he and Danny were great but the crowd was killing me, i was getting hype and realizing everyone around me was still like wtffffff it was very hot in the venue though so maybe that was why?? but still idk that doesn’t excuse it
I went to see them twice when they came to glasgow. I learned by the second show not to stand at the front, I got winded and felt like I was going to pass out. The mosh pit was better in comparison surprisingly as it allowed for space to breathe
@@unoptimalvods5792 The only show I've been to that topped DG was when I saw Clipping in Leeds nearly a year ago, although it probably didn't top the DG crowd in pure energy, instead we all had pure synergy with pretty much every song (perhaps due to the venue being quite small, probably 400 capacity at most), we all knew when to simmer down and let Daveed's insanely perfect rapping fill the air, and we all knew the exact moments when to go hard, and when those moments came we all went nuts. I'm seeing them again in London in a few weeks so I guess I'll report back if it's the same at all their shows or if I had one very lucky night.
Saw them at Brooklyn Steel. Gotta think my son and I set an age differential record for two people attending a DG show - he's 18 and I'm 63. We watched from the mezzanine because I didn't think I could deal with the fray. I'm happy that he did then go to Philly and lived in the excitement of the 3rd row. I had some mild depression a couple of years ago and one of the key therapies that got me out of it was laying face down on the bed while blasting DG on the (good) stereo. It was so calming and cathartic for me. There is no sarcasm here, I'm very serious.
@@razing8025 i was there. it was wild. someone brought a parachute (like those big multicolored ones from gym class in elementary school) and people were moshing underneath it
I was at both jpeg and dg in Warsaw, they were w week apart and death grips was like 10 times more intense, it had no breaks and was longer. Maybe JPEGs shows in us are different buy I'd be surprised.
@@philip4419black midi last year was intense yeah but not in 2019 because nobody knew them back then lol. Saw them before they had released an album but they were great
Listen to Anthony when he says keep your distance. I partially tore my Achilles last time I saw them lol. It was fun, but definitely wished I could re do that and watch from the balcony. F you to whoever kicked me at the Hollywood Palladium show, if you’re watching this.
nicks addition to the performance was incredible. the whole thing just felt even more gnarly and grimey. hearing him rip on you might think he loves you had me moving harder than i ever have
Anthony you might not believe it, but Ride did actually point out to people in the crowd while he was performing when I saw them in Mannhein, Germany. He even pointed at me. So awesome. Zach and Andy also smiled and waved good bye after there set was done.
Caught the Atlanta show and it was amazing. Went pretty much as you described, no theatrics or playing to the crowd, just intensity and hit after hit. Ride is one of the best vocalists I have seen live. His stage presence and intensity is off the charts.
at the austin show that my friend went to, the only lighting they had on stage was a bright magenta screen behind them. they walked on, played, and left. i watched the performance on youtube, and even that was sick. his scream on you might think he loves you was AMAZING.
I was shocked at how everyone was clamoring to go see them in Europe as well. In Berlin they had to switch up the initial venue after opening ticket sales because way more people wanted to buy tickets than the initial venue's capacity. And it was the wildest show I've ever been to. They came on the stage about an hour late (with Andy), by which point a lot of us were thinking they might not even show up, and blasted through a 90 minute performance like a fucking hurricane. Everyone went absolutely nuts. And at the end they were I guess a little more social than before? Ride was sort of interactive in his movements and led the crowd a bunch of times, at the end they also waved goodbye a bit lol
I saw them twice in june, and I have to say I thought they were brilliant! Zach Hill even gave the crowd a thank you at the first one which was an honour. But they're so full of energy for their age!
Saw them in KC recently, so incredible to see Nick perform. I hope they drop a new album with him involved. Wish they would've played On GP though! Regardless, it was amazing.
Just got back from seeing them in NC. I got to experience being in the pit and then heading back to enjoy the last tracks including Hacker and Fashion Week. Show of a lifetime. I don’t think I would have discovered them on my own if it weren’t for your channel tbh, so thank you for making me a lifelong fan!
I legit just got out of their show at the anthem in Washington D.C. and am so glad I got to see them at all love. I honestly had given up hope that they’d go on tour ever again for years and the fact that I got to see Zach and ride in the flesh was an unmatched feeling. Also the Dalmatian hoodie goes so hard.
Commenting before watching: Death grips are an act that I never once enjoyed listening to in any recorded format, but seeing them live back to back weekends on an incredible sound systems made me "get it". Pure circumstance.
That set list sounds like it would be mind-blowing to experience. I saw 100 Gecs play last year, and they played a set that was 40 minutes tops. So I can only imagine what 90 minutes of crazy high-energy music nonstop would be like, especially when you consider how hard Death Grips play. I am legitimately sad I remembered they were touring AFTER they had their tour date in SF, they are the number one band I want to see live and I missed them 😔
@@Comrade.Question Yeah it was a fantastic set but id be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed by the length. That said all of their songs are very brief and this was before their second album came out so I think they managed to play 85% of their first album in that time plus 3 songs from the new album.
Tree of Clues 2021 tour? I caught them on that too. I think they played all of 1,000 Gecs (23 minutes), went backstage for about 10 minutes and came back and did about 5 or 6 songs from the album on acoustic guitars and piano. One of the weirdest experiences I've had at a show but yeah, it lasted maybe 45 minutes
@@we-can-still-be-friends The tour I went on was called the 10000 gecs tour but I am pretty sure we are talking about the same show. And there was only one acoustic song at the show I went to: Laura singing an acoustic cover of "gecgecgec". It was the first night of the tour though so I am sure the setlist changed, especially since you could tell Laura was nervous about singing with just her unprocessed voice and 2 guitars. The show may have been brief, but it was still an amazing experience. Now that they have an EP, 2 albums and a remix album plus a handful of tours under their belt I am confident they now have the song catalog and experience to perform some truly special concerts. I look forward to seeing them again and hope they keep innovating and growing in popularity while staying true to themselves like Death Grips has manged to over the last decade.
I was literally right behind fantano at the open air Texas one near Austin. It was a terrible location, btw. I was gonna say hi, but I pussed out. Greatest regret of my life
Saw them in LA. It was cathartic and amazing. only odd thing I noticed was how Ride delivered “I got the fever.” It was very much just spoken, but also totally understandable. The last time I saw them in Vegas I definitely got the yell “I GOT THE FEVER” it sent me chills
I’m really annoyed with myself for not going to a DG concert when I could. I had the tickets and the time, everything was ready, but I got hit with a huge depressive slump right on the day. I can only hope they go on tour again near me soon :(
Don't listen to anyone calling you stupid, people that don't get affected by stuff like this just don't get it. It's like people that don't get sweaty don't know how good they have it vs people that just naturally get their shirt soaked if they even think about going out into the sun for 15 minutes
That was a fun concert. I could have gone without Anthony Fantano screaming in between each track for them to play Stairway to Heaven then audibly snickering to himself though
Were you at the New Haven show? I was there and thought it was actually the best of the three times I’d seen them. Before this most recent show I’d seen the band play at terminal 5 in 2016, and before that in Brooklyn during 2012. I felt that they were even tighter and more focused this time around, and I liked how Ride actually took breaks on the side of the stage a couple of times. His voice was markedly louder after coming back from these short pauses. Energy in the building was insane. Went to the show with a metal head friend who had never listened to them and she absolutely loved them. Thanks for posting your review, and fingers crossed for a new album!
I went to the show in Indianapolis on July 29th and I had the time of my life. I was one person behind the fence and it was pandemonium. Everyone around me was super into it and I thought it was insane. First death grips show and hopefully not the last.
So did I Anthony! I drove about 4 hrs all the way to the Michigan show, and it was definitely worth it all the way. I went with a friend; and we got pretty close seats (much to my dismay, my convincing for them to buy Pit tickets were not enough), but they had a killer setlist nevertheless and the energy was unmatched anything before, I had seen Foo Fighters just recently too, but DG’s energy was on-par or higher! Either way, I sung like hell to every song, I got most into You might think…
Not to derail, but honestly, if Dave can still put together the level of energy he does for his shows, which is almost unmatched, I feel like Ride can still be blowing us away for another decade to come, assuming that he or Zach do not grievously harm themselves.
@@AndrewZonca I was in the pit too! I was the dickhead with the skeleton gloves. We might have bashed each other. You gonna see them next month in Detroit?
I liked the part where Anthony said "Hello everyone, Anthtony Fantano here, internet's busiest music nerd I hope you are doing well, and it's time to spin the wheel of mythicality"
i feel like this tour was their most rehearsed so far. i watched a bunch of videos of different concerts and pretty much all the transformative screams had the same timing and so did many of ride's moves. while it was a huge honor to get to see them live, i must say it feels like they're not at their peak anymore, not as punk as they used to be basically.
This tour was my first time seeing them. I saw them in Tulsa if anyone is curious. A lot of the same observations apply to that show, but the sheer enthusiasm in the crowd made it really memorable. I could feel the floor shaking during the chorus of "I've Seen Footage" since the whole crowd was jumping in sync. Highly recommend any fans take the chance to catch one of these dates if possible.
I saw Death Grips earlier this year in SLC, thought I’d never see them live. Probably the best live act of any show, band, or genre I’ve ever been to. It was so raw and energetic, they played classics and some new stuff, there was a mosh pit the whole time that I was in, it was insane. My favorite part is they came on stage, raged for two plus hours, and then left. No greetings, no good byes, just pure music and performance. I was also on a small dose of shrooms so it was trippy as hell but it really fed the rage.
I saw them in Dublin on this tour and it was probably one of the most intense performances Ive ever been to. I had to leave the little mosh pit cause I thought I was gonna collapse.
Living in Brazil sucks so much in terms of concerts. Probably these guys will never play here and even if they do, it would be 400 miles from where I live, and it sucks to travel inside the country too.
I saw them in may and it was great! Edit: Andy was at my show btw. I wonder why he wasn’t there Also even though there was no interaction with the crowd it was obvious the band were having a great time. Ride was smiling. It was all around what I hoped it would be. This was very early in this tour.
I saw them about a week ago and it was incredible, especially with Nick there. Sad to miss Andy, but I hope he's hard at work in the studio on the new album
Was at the Atlanta show last night. Probably one of my top five shows of all time. The crowd was also a level 1000 terms of energy, the pit. This added to the overall impact the show had on me.
Saw them two weeks ago and people were deadass hanging and swinging from the rafters, Ride pointed at them while still performing and kept it moving and a group of females were riding their bfs shoulders and playing chicken topless was an INSANE show my gf was exhausted after the show but agreed they kicked ass and she never heard of em before and is mos def a fan now 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
One of my favorite Fleet Foxes shows was at the beginning of the Crack-Up tour when they were still finding their groove and was pretty anti-social by their standards. Sometimes I like a tight performance focused on the music like that. I saw them toward the end of the same tour and the crowd interaction and energy was completely different. It's cool to experience both in my opinion.
I got to see fleet foxes as my first concert at summer fest a month or so ago and it was incredible. Such an amazing set list and Robin seems like such a humble and kind person.
I remember Blackjack hitting extremely hard when I saw them back in 2017. It felt like they played at a slower tempo than the album version and it felt way heavier.
I still cant believe i caught them in my hometown in a small EU country in 2017 I will probably never see them again tbh, but the experience was dope enough to last me a lifetime
I saw them around 2018-2019 when they came to Mexico for their only time, i think Ride was tired but it was legit one of the best concerts ever, you could see that even though people were a bit skeptical about the mosh pit, EVERYONE at that festival was there for DG, very intense and very sweaty set although very minimalistic, straight white flashing lights and the bare minimum equipment to play God i wish they came back
Saw them in Paris on this tour and it was some of the most fun I've had in a long time, good pit going, very sweaty, got so hyped when they played their remix of Runway H, but like you said the lack of interaction is both a blessing and a curse; I was convinced there was gonna be an encore but their gear was almost immediately packed up after playing. I've come to realise they don't really do encores 😅 Anyway I'd defo go see them again and I look forward to what they bring us next 👍
Seeing Death Grips isn't like seeing a regular band, it's more akin to watching performance art, but in the but in the most agressive ad exhilerating way. Still in my top 3 all time gigs that I've ever. seen.

Saw them in dc tonight. I agree with a lot of what you said. Felt like Ride took some time to rev up, but the peaks were pretty nuts. Also the sound was generally pretty great
Saw their show in Grand Rapids, MI on July 30th. I'm not a hardcore fan by any means but have been listening to them for several years, and knew their shows are high energy affairs. Had my wig positively blown off. One of the most fun, sweaty, kinetic scenes of barely controlled chaos I've ever been a part of. Would go again.
I actually was at this show on Saturday. It was my first DG show and I kinda knew what to expect but also didn't. I was in the nosebleeds, so when the lights when dark only to come back with System Blower I was immediately assaulted with blinding lights and thudding drums. Thoroughly ruined my make up with how much jumping around and headbanging there was. One thing I'll say is that Zach not stopping once for a break is really fucking wild. Edit: Next time I'm going in the pit.

Glad you enjoyed the show Tony, wish I could've been there for their early era like you.
what show topped the hype? i just saw jpegmafia after seeing death grips in nj and it felt underwhelming in comparison 😭, i need more artists with crazy crowds now
@@unoptimalvods5792 Wow whacky, I saw jpeg in New Zealand and the energy was absolutely insane. He was climbing up banisters in the venue lol
@@MrDokugan bruh he and Danny were great but the crowd was killing me, i was getting hype and realizing everyone around me was still like wtffffff
it was very hot in the venue though so maybe that was why?? but still idk that doesn’t excuse it
I went to see them twice when they came to glasgow.
Me and a friend are literally seeing them in an hour and a half and this video just makes me 20x more excited
have fun!
how was it?
Probably exhausted. Hope we get a response tomorrow
Hope you went fuckin' nuts
@@razing8025 i was there. it was wild. someone brought a parachute (like those big multicolored ones from gym class in elementary school) and people were moshing underneath it
Saw them a couple weeks ago and I feel pretty confident in saying that don’t know if I’ll ever be at a more intense concert in my life
Try a jpegmafia or black midi concert
@@philip4419 I have seen all three of these artists and death grips is far and away the most intense lol
Thought I was gonna die when I saw them a few years ago, half the crowd fell over it was insane
Saw them before they had released an album but they were great
He saw deathgrips
Listen to Anthony when he says keep your distance. I partially tore my Achilles last time I saw them lol. It was fun, but definitely wished I could re do that and watch from the balcony. F you to whoever kicked me at the Hollywood Palladium show, if you’re watching this.
nicks addition to the performance was incredible. the whole thing just felt even more gnarly and grimey. hearing him rip on you might think he loves you had me moving harder than i ever have
Was 5 feet from the stage in Louisville. Broke my neck, Zack dropped a stick and started punching the drum, show was perfect.
Anthony you might not believe it, but Ride did actually point out to people in the crowd while he was performing when I saw them in Mannhein, Germany. He even pointed at me. So awesome. Zach and Andy also smiled and waved good bye after there set was done.
anyone else watching this right before walking into the venue
I’m actually going to see Death Grips tomorrow, bro’s got timing
Caught the Atlanta show and it was amazing. Went pretty much as you described, no theatrics or playing to the crowd, just intensity and hit after hit. Ride is one of the best vocalists I have seen live. His stage presence and intensity is off the charts.
at the austin show that my friend went to, the only lighting they had on stage was a bright magenta screen behind them. they walked on, played, and left. i watched the performance on youtube, and even that was sick. his scream on you might think he loves you was AMAZING.
I’ve seen them 7 times and each just got progressively smellier
I was there my friend :D it was a blast!
I was there too. My face is still melted.
I legit just got out of their show at the anthem in Washington D.C. and am so glad I got to see them at all love. I honestly had given up hope that they’d go on tour ever again for years and the fact that I got to see Zach and ride in the flesh was an unmatched feeling. Also the Dalmatian hoodie goes so hard.
hey I was there too!
@@mitzo4526 that was the most beautiful concert I have ever and probably will ever go to
@@Kanbaruuu it was awesome. I hope they come to DC again
Lol I was at the sane show, it was awesome
@@mufroughler5925 if you saw someone with smudged eyeliner, a rush shirt, a denim jacket, and two belts on her shoulders, that was me
Commenting before watching:
Death grips are an act that I never once enjoyed listening to in any recorded format, but seeing them live back to back weekends on an incredible sound systems made me "get it". Pure circumstance.
Same, same! It filled me with anxiety, but after the performance, it feels like a hug (and not from a "what? No hug?" person)
This video is basically Anthony telling us he has seen footage for 12.5 mins straight.
That set list sounds like it would be mind-blowing to experience. I saw 100 Gecs play last year, and they played a set that was 40 minutes tops. So I can only imagine what 90 minutes of crazy high-energy music nonstop would be like, especially when you consider how hard Death Grips play. I am legitimately sad I remembered they were touring AFTER they had their tour date in SF, they are the number one band I want to see live and I missed them 😔
40 minute set what is this egg punk?
Gec show for 40 minute is torture
The last time I saw them in Vegas I definitely got the yell “I GOT THE FEVER” it sent me chills
he must be tired
@@fzxfzxfzx tired grips
I saw them yesterday in Pittsburgh, awesome ass show that they put on. We got VIP tickets so we got a table and some comfortable seats
I’m really annoyed with myself for not going to a DG concert when I could.
I had the tickets and the time, everything was ready, but I got hit with a huge depressive slump right on the day.
I can only hope they go on tour again near me soon :(
Don't worry dude, some of us in other (non English speaking continents) will probably never have the chance to see them
What a stupid decision.
Don't listen to anyone calling you stupid, people that don't get affected by stuff like this just don't get it.
It's like people that don't get sweaty don't know how good they have it vs people that just naturally get their shirt soaked if they even think about going out into the sun for 15 minutes
there still more shows left bruh
I hope you're feeling better dude. It do be like that sometimes
That was a fun concert. I could have gone without Anthony Fantano screaming in between each track for them to play Stairway to Heaven then audibly snickering to himself though
I caught them when I was in Berlin in June and it was a mind blowing show. Don't know how Ride still has that kind of energy in him.
Ayyy me too! I was in the mosh pit the entire time. Had my shirt off and everything. Had a blast, best concert of my life.
Me too! I was front to the left. Mosh & sound was amazing. Hopefully I'll see them again in my lifetime.
that thumbnail looks exactly what i think a DG live show crowd looks like
So did I Anthony!
@@Prederick Oh hell yeah, both shows were absolutely stellar energy-wise, I mentioned FF briefly in the comment, but it was astounding too of course!
I was in the pit for michigan! The pit was insane I broke my tempered screen glass in the mosh
I was also there! I was front row in the pit
@@AndrewZonca I was in the pit too! I was the dickhead with the skeleton gloves. We might have bashed each other. You gonna see them next month in Detroit?
No Love will convert any school kid into a convulsing goblin.
My fiance dumped me today, and I was at a DG concert like three hours later. Been a weird one for me. Great show, though.
That picture will never not seem photoshopped
I liked the part where Anthony said "Hello everyone, Anthtony Fantano here, internet's busiest music nerd I hope you are doing well, and it's time to spin the wheel of mythicality"
I've never been to a concert before and I'm super excited to be going to the Dallas show in October!
I hate not being over 18. I missed out on poppy, lingua ignota, chat pile and converge and now DEATH GRIPS because im a measly 17 year old
there will be more
Sucks too cause this is the last year live music will ever exist. sorry brother better go catch a Wiggles show before New year
i feel like this tour was their most rehearsed so far. i watched a bunch of videos of different concerts and pretty much all the transformative screams had the same timing and so did many of ride's moves. while it was a huge honor to get to see them live, i must say it feels like they're not at their peak anymore, not as punk as they used to be basically.
I wonder why he wasn’t there
Also even though there was no interaction with the crowd it was obvious the band were having a great time. Ride was smiling. It was all around what I hoped it would be. This was very early in this tour.
i met the asian dude in the photo @ the boiler set, chill dude. 1:49 bottom of watermelon boy with dark glasses. we met at the austin show. cool dude.
I saw them about a week ago and it was incredible, especially with Nick there. Sad to miss Andy, but I hope he's hard at work in the studio on the new album
That 1:06 tran-sition gotta be one of the smoothest I've seen.
Saw them a few weeks ago, best show I've ever been to. They were truly in my area.
I wonder why Andy isn't in the recent live shows. He was there when I went to Glasgow in June.
Saw them in Berlin - got to be right at the front of the crowd, holding on to the railings for dear life. Greatest concert experience of my life.
I was there! Absolutely insane show.
Was at the Atlanta show last night. Probably one of my top five shows of all time. The crowd was also a level 1000 terms of energy, the pit. This added to the overall impact the show had on me.
Saw them two weeks ago and people were deadass hanging and swinging from the rafters, Ride pointed at them while still performing and kept it moving and a group of females were riding their bfs shoulders and playing chicken topless was an INSANE show my gf was exhausted after the show but agreed they kicked ass and she never heard of em before and is mos def a fan now 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
She's a keeper
They were two hours away from my home and my dumb ass forgot to get tickets and now I'm as bitter as Ride's lyrics.
Bro literally every dude in the front row had on black frame eyeglasses this can't be a coincidence there must be a sociological reason.
I remember Blackjack hitting extremely hard when I saw them back in 2017. It felt like they played at a slower tempo than the album version and it felt way heavier.
I still cant believe i caught them in my hometown in a small EU country in 2017
I will probably never see them again tbh, but the experience was dope enough to last me a lifetime
I saw them around 2018-2019 when they came to Mexico for their only time, i think Ride was tired but it was legit one of the best concerts ever, you could see that even though people were a bit skeptical about the mosh pit, EVERYONE at that festival was there for DG, very intense and very sweaty set although very minimalistic, straight white flashing lights and the bare minimum equipment to play
God i wish they came back
I just saw their tour in Pittsburgh. I've been to a Wiggles concert and a Death Grips concert. I am the duality of man.
You were banned halfway through for showing your genitals to a minor
Glad to see Anthonys childhood dream come true🙏
Saw them in Paris on this tour and it was some of the most fun I've had in a long time, good pit going, very sweaty, got so hyped when they played their remix of Runway H, but like you said the lack of interaction is both a blessing and a curse; I was convinced there was gonna be an encore but their gear was almost immediately packed up after playing. I've come to realise they don't really do encores 😅 Anyway I'd defo go see them again and I look forward to what they bring us next 👍
He uploaded this the day after I saw them and I was so excited that Fantano might've been at the same concert I was lol
swear I saw a bald white guy at the show last night and thought it was him at first
Seeing Death Grips isn't like seeing a regular band, it's more akin to watching performance art, but in the but in the most agressive ad exhilerating way. Still in my top 3 all time gigs that I've ever. seen.
Not talking and only being under red lighting made them seem still not real. It's freaky
saw em on their second show in vancouver. fucking incredible show
shit was crazy
Same. They killed it.
Same. Venue fucking sucked balls.
Missed opportunity to name this video "I've seen Death Grips"
Seen them open for ministry. Ministry made a mistake. Stoked for this headline tour. Ween, Dethgrips, and babymetal/ dethklok . gonna be a fun september
I'm part of a Facebook group where the entire point is for the admin to post the same photo of Anthony Fantano at a Death Grips concert and is to all like it. We're like on day 1800 lol
Wow fantano! I never thought death grips was real! Thank you for clarifying!!!
Bro finally saw more than just footage
Saw them in dc tonight. I agree with a lot of what you said. Felt like Ride took some time to rev up, but the peaks were pretty nuts. Also the sound was generally pretty great
Shit was great. I feel a preferred a 2019 at the Fillmore though. Not to say my mind and body weren’t being torn apart
Detroit next month, my dude.
@xivivix7195 The only thing is I'm looking to go to Riot Fest that weekend and Death Grips just so happen to be playing there too, so it works out.
Me too. McRide ate my eyeballs with a spoon and then carved his initials into my scalp. It was lovely!
Nick Reinhart is the greatest living guitarist and you can't change my mind
You should’ve gotten up on the stage so that MC Ride could man-handle you and throw you into the ground
did he smiled back at you again?!
saw the st louis show. everyone was hype, my friend got really high, another got lost in the pit, i was just happy to be there. loved all of it
Got to see them at primavera sound in barcelona incredible set they blew my mind. jpegmafia played the same stage a couple hours later
I was at the Glasgow (Scotland) part of this tour.. it was PHENOMENAL lol, just raw af and bouncin!
