They went all-out and it shows, especially with things like the win art for base Street Fighter 3.
This was when Capcom was passionate to make the best game possible. Keep in mind this was around the time all the Capcom VS games came out. They were on fire.

I was a huge Fei Long/Gen main back in SFA3 so naturally Yang became my favorite character along with Q. I'm so glad you like Yang, such as underrated character and really fun to play around with!

George Stobbart I can go back to any of the Alphas if I want to. The only Street Fighters I can't go back to are II (any iteration. Arcade mode will eat your quarters) and V.
Yang's command dash sounds like a one of those dashes you hear in a Looney Tunes cartoon.
Imagine a Street Fighter game with Third Strikes Skill Ceiling & Speed, Street Fighter 4’s Roster, & SFV’s Graphics (but toned down on the Muscles a bit)

Lewis Erison Anytime soon no. But after they S3 characters hype dies down & if S4 ends up being just a rumor than I’m sure they’ll get to work on SF6 soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they already started at least gathering he Concept of it.
Capcom has had their heads way up their ass with their fighting games of late. 4 grew itself, but mostly rode on how huge and established Street Fighter is. Anime fighters have lower floors and higher ceilings, The 3D fighters get more depth and complexity out of the same input barrier. 5 rode even harder on daddies reputation.
Watching dev interviews it's clear they do not know how to crawl out of super turbo's shadow, and 3s does not get its due respect. Parry should have become a core mechanic of the series, the rational that "it's so much better for high level players" a sentiment that gets thrown around in fighting games a lot, is entirely stupid. Whatever you put in a game, high level players will get better use out of it.
Infinite being a shit show is probably more Disney's fault so I'll give them a pass on that one, but it's a bad look for any fighting game they want to release in future, since it's their name on the box. Marvel 3 at least had the right look... though that game was completely degenerate with the touches of death. "Oh you though Marvel 2 was degenerate, watch this." And then there's SF5, repeating most of 4s mistakes but with less characters. At least it has the built in update potential, and they should use that to actually finish the game.
The FGC is getting tired of getting "edition" screwed. Release a broken product and charge me $40 bucks to fix it.... You'd be insane to buy SF6 at launch

Ugh, I really miss the after-match screen and music. This compilation, while awesome, really kills the hype. The after-match screen let the hype die down slowly...am I alone on this?
Yeah images after a match in new generation and 2nd impact always look great to me as well.
I loved yang because of gundam wing. It was like using trowa in a fighting game in human form.

All I ever did in 3rd Strike on the Dreamcast back in the day was try to land Shin Shoryuken on counter for the whopping 75% damage... That and turtling with Remi. Good times.

Louie G Street Fighter 5 finally has an 'Arcade Edition' and it STILL isn't complete. This is the SAME THING that happened with Street Fighter *4*. ULTRA Street Fighter 4 is a GREAT modern Street Fighter game because it has almost FIFTY characters in it AND DEFINITE Boss battles. We will just have to wait until "ULTRA Street Fighter FIVE" to see how Street Fighter 5 will look at it's completeness.

When I read The Online Warrior, I got so happy.
I used Yang quite a bit in Second Impact before I switched gears over to Necro; I always appreciate how sharp and precise Yang's attacks and combos are, especially in Max's hands.
Anytime that Ken... anytime ANYONE sits on 3 full bars of meter in this game i'm like "Man, toss out some EX fire balls or EX SOMETHING, ANYTHING!!!" Full meter just sitting there, urks me dudes. It jsut gets under my skin, idk why. Anyone else have that feel?

Couldn't Yang do a cancel from jumping Medium kick into Medium Rekka? Been a while but it's who I used to use in 3rd strike. I also know he has a simple button tap combo with standing LK, MK, HK.

kamatari edgar Karin has a rekka in V and Ibuki has one in 3 and 4 but not V for some reason.

I dont understand how that akuma had so many games under their belt. It looked like a basic ass akuma, never held neutral...threw out random tatsus and DPs. Like come on. The makoto/ryu matches were fire tho 🔥

Glad to see you're playing yang max, Yang's BnB is his cr mk into reckas and mainly switch between his fierce and jab reckas..his light normals can only combo with his ex slashes, you're doing a wonderful job getting your opponent into the corner. Against ppl who know how to parry,you want to play with the timing of the ex slashes but other than that, you're gravy lad..much love and shine on❤

Gotta' say, Max, I love watching you play 3rd Strike. You're like poetry in motion (in fact, considering this is a fighting game, wouldn't be accurate to call this BEAT poetry?).
I will say, I notice you have the most trouble with Ryu players from what I've watched of your videos.

TheIVAce i see. Quite the letdown to not have it. Gave a sense of completion to matches. A minor thing that they didnt need to do but i really love the fact they did, since its already unique that soundtrack changes between rounds at all
