BMW and Mercedes is making their cars softer to compete with Lexus, but fan boys still whine that Lexus does not handle like BMW and Mercedes, LOL! Obviously, consumers know the Lexus quality and prefer it over German overpriced junks.
Tom is one of the best reviewers/journalists on YT. I like the front fascia design a lot. I agree on the taillamps; they should stay on the tail and not bleed over to the quarter panels. Overall, Lexus did a fantastic job with this.
This car has really grown on me. Only thing is, I wouldn't want to damage the front bumper. Can you imagine how much it would cost to repair? Especially since its a mesh like design, which doesn't provide any protection.
For Lexus, the IS250 is the volume model. I'd prefer the IS350 due to the more powerful V-6. (However, the 2.5L V-6 at 205 hp seems lethargic. Audi, Cadillac, and BMW use turbo inline-4s as their base engines with more hp.)
I hated the look when it came out but now i think its first class angry and masculine. Its just ashame the engines are carry over as they are underpowered. Also its lacking features like heated rear seats power plug in the back etc
Great review. The tiny head light clusters look worse than the tail lights IMO. Quite odd looking and overly-busy. The interior doesn't exactly look smooth and stylish either.
Engine selections are kinda old. This car also looks over styled and desperate for attention. I prefer the new C Class's design, interior, and engine choices.
The 2015 IS350 looks like the Kia Optima at the front and Hyundai Sonata in the rear design. The designs from Lexus have recently looked cheap and tacky. BMW or Mercedes would be much better choices at this price point.

another ill informed "reviewer" who really doesn't know much about cars. btw the F has nothing to do with the F1 (LS), it is tribute to the Fuji Raceway where the cars are tested and developed btm line, all new Lexus cars have to be seen in person to be appreciated, pictures and videos don't do them justice, a IS350 F sport in any colour simply "vanish" any competitors on the road, absolutely striking
Unfortunately the 2015 Lexus IS350 looks exactly like the Kia Cerato (minus the edges). The cheap, tacky designs of recent Lexuses is very worrying. This is why I will never buy a Lexus.

Totally agree. They need to bump up the power to at least 340. A Q50 base model has 330hp, this should have a little more.
TOM i still wish u would have more videos per week not just 1. Too compete with the other channels u need 2-3 a week. Just my thoughts
