Erect Clown it's a dream to drive and the suspension isn't rough at all or punishing for such a luxury "sports" type of vehicle. You have to try one, if you haven't. Keep me updated!
I bought this car brand new in 2015. The color is Matador Red Mica. I just love this sporty little car and how it drives. I call it my little red hot rod. I haven’t taken out on the open road to learn using the paddle shifters. I mostly drive it in eco mode. When getting on the freeway, sometimes I put it in sport mode and merge in going the speed of the traffic flow just for fun. The Mark Levinson radio system is tops in listening pleasure. I’m happy with my purchase. I feel that I made a good choice.
Yet another great Review Sam....your enthusiasm shows for this car and its pretty easy to see why...outside of the styling upfront, I like the looks of the car (except for that tiny nav screen)...will have to look for one of these on the used market sometime down the road :). Keep up the great work and kudos for a local Arizona reviewer!
Best car reviews i've seen, good job. This is a car i'm planning on buying as soon as all my ducks are in a row. Between this one and the GS, how smooth or harsh the ride is? Thanks in advance.
I just bought one last week. Cars awesome. Interior is sooo nice and comfortable. Digital gauge cluster is so cool .Steering, handling & braking are all really good, super firm and planted, minimum body roll, not a harsh ride at all. Powers good, better in the 5000+ rpm range, not a lot down low. Car feels very fast though, intake is LOUD, exhaust silent... Transmission in auto mode shifts fast and really smooth...paddle shifters are kinda slow, car gets really bad gas mileage in the city, slightly better but still not good on the highway. They eat tires, aftermarket lower control arm bushings or GS-f/RC-F factory bushings helps. Overall, awesome car... only thing is it could use a touch more power, it’s heavy.
Bang Bang Libra Gang I traded it in, the payment was too expensive. It’s a good car but honestly if you wanna save $ then go with a good trim Camry. If you find a good deal then buy it. It’s sleek and decent for a lexus
Yeah its like 0.5-1 secs slower then the competition to 60 at 5.6 secs but when the competition breaks down on the side of the road it mean while it will laugh will reliably going fast
Hey I see your located in phx! So am I. I have a question does Lexus handle the heat well? And what are the comparisons between a 3 series and the is as far as matience coast roughly??
+marcos estrada We test the Acura TLX earlier this year, link below. They are really not at all apples to apples. th-cam.com/video/OwHWmoAkdl8/w-d-xo.html
+TestDrivenTV just watched the video and i see you rated both cars with 5 stars. And even though, they're not apple to apple, the question still remains, -which one would you buy? :) Thnks for replying, btw!
+AF A Thank you. I like your opinion/comment and I'll keep it in mind. I was seriously considering Acura, mostly for the good MPG, but all and all, sounds like Lexus Is the way to go. 👍🏼
Hey Sam could you help me out and tell me about how comfortable this would be for a 6'2 frame. I have zero Lexus dealerships near me so I can't go look at one with ease. I'm more partial to the IS than the GS but if the IS is too small it's a no go. Thanks in advance!
The 350 for sure! I had the 200t in my previous 2017 IS which was decent enough. I now have the 350 in my current 2016 GS which is far superior with much more power & much better sound & much better suits a luxury car.
@@oklavortex I have the AWD. Yeah but still isn't a sport car. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I love my car but I bought the BMW 435ix for more fun. I'm gonna miss my IS😥
@@9Achaemenid -Neither the IS350 or the 435i are sports cars. They are sports sedans. I have owned both a 335i and my current IS350 and prefer the IS since they both drive similar but my Lexus doesn't break down like my BMW used to.
The line from side to tail is beautiful
We just purchased this exact Lexus and we love it...
Pete J I just bought this exact car with atomic silver and wow just the perfect example of quiet comfort and Sport.
Steven Power would you say it floats across the bumps in the road like the bigger models? thinking about this very seriously. thanks!

Steven Power will do man :)
Hows the car now?

Sheldon Warren i own the same car and I’ve never put it on eco mode, Lexus should cancel this mode all together
I really like the colour of this car
Where was this video shot!? Love this care btw!

+DiveDeep We'd recommend you trying it out for size. Sam is about 5'-9" and he was pretty happy with it.
how does it know what the speed limit is ( so it can warn you that you're 10mph over limit) ?
+Tony C. It uses satellite linked GPS to known map data.
+TestDrivenTV f sports vtecccccc
But can I Add a turbo to it
Yes
Revvvv up your Lexus!!
I'm stuck between this and the GS 😞
@ Marty what made you choose the GS
I understand that makes sense this just looks so much more fun Did you get the F-Sport GS
After researching I pretty much have my mind set on a Lexus especially since I own a 19 year old RX already and it has been perfect
I will
sooo... this or 200t? anyone?
Both good
This is quicker

IS don't shift fast! I own one and is pretty slow, feels old tech tought!
Did you get the AWD? AWD has the 6 speed transmission, RWD has the 8 speed dual cvvt

@@jpizel1070 I doubt you owed both because IS 350 dont drive same as M435i. I have driven IS 350 a lot..
